Family:

Evgenia Vasilyeva - the only daughter of a St. Petersburg entrepreneur Nikolai Anatolievich Vasiliev(born October 25, 1954) and Lyudmila Iosifovna Vasilyeva (born May 20, 1956). Vasilyeva's father is a co-owner of companies manufacturing and supplying fiber optic cables and plastic pipes ( CJSC "Plastkom", CJSC OKS 01), by his own admission - a multimillionaire.

Thanks to her father, Evgenia lived in such conditions from childhood that she could afford absolutely everything. In 2012, when a scandal erupted over a huge apartment in the very center of Moscow, as well as jewelry, paintings and other luxury items discovered in it, Vasilyeva's parents said that these were all their gifts. The total value of the "gifts" according to the most conservative estimates is no less than 10 million dollars.

Unmarried. No children.

Biography:

Graduated from the Faculty of Law in 2001 with honors Saint Petersburg State University. An amazing coincidence is that at the same time she studied there Julia Zubkova(daughter of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation) and her future husband.

After graduating from the university, in 2001, Vasilyeva worked as a legal adviser, specializing mainly in tax legislation.

In 2006, Vasilyeva moved to Moscow and got a job in a construction and investment company. "Sholding" where she worked for five months.

Since 2009, Vasilyeva has been an adviser to the deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation Alexandra Beglova.

In 2010, she moved to work in the Ministry of Defense, where she took the position of adviser - chief of staff of the Minister of Defense Anatoly Serdyukov, and then - head department of property relations(until summer 2012). The Kommersant newspaper characterizes Vasilyeva's relationship with Serdyukov, who is her housemate, as a "close acquaintance". The fact of personal relations with Serdyukov was confirmed by Vasilyeva herself.

In early 2012, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev Vasilyeva was awarded the Order of Honor.

In the early morning of October 25, 2012, Vasilyeva's 4-room apartment in Molochny Lane, where Serdyukov was also at that time, was searched in connection with the case "Oboronservice".

"In addition to documents relevant to the case, more than three million rubles, antiques, several dozen paintings, a large number of jewelry and jewelry were confiscated from her.", - said the representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation V. Markin. During the investigation, she was relieved of her post in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On November 13, 2012, a documentary film-investigation was shown on the TV channel "Russia-1" Arcadia Mamontov"Corruption" about financial fraud in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The film claimed that Vasilyeva's salary as head of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense was 5 million rubles.

In addition, in the event of the sale of state property with her participation, Vasilyeva received bonuses in the amount of 1.5 to 2 million rubles. The official, according to the author of the film, is the owner of a 13-room apartment in the elite Golden Mile district between Prechistenka and Ostozhenka streets in the center of Moscow. The approximate cost of this dwelling, located at Molochny lane, building 6, apartment 4, is estimated at $10 million.

Evgenia's father, N. A. Vasiliev, in an interview, stated that the living area of the apartment is 118.8 m2, it has 4 rooms, was purchased in early 2010 for 44.5 million rubles. According to publicly available data from the USRR, the area of the apartment is 192 sq.m.

During the searches in the criminal case, as noted in the documentary, more than 1.5 thousand pieces of jewelry were seized from Vasilyeva's apartment. The Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, referring to its sources, writes that 51,000 precious stones and 19 kg of gold were seized during the search.

Already being a defendant in a criminal case, Evgenia opened a jewelry company in Moscow "Result" and jewelry store.

In November 2012, she underwent a minor operation and was in the hospital.

She writes poetry, published a book of love lyrics with a circulation of 500 copies. The poems were heard in the program of the NTV channel "Central Television" on March 3, 2013.

While at home, she also became interested in painting. Writes pictures. In April 2014, her personal exhibition opened in the Moscow gallery "Expo-88" "Flowers from captivity".

Income:

According to the income statement filed at the end of 2010, Evgenia Vasilyeva earned 6.2 million rubles in a year.

In addition, she owned a land plot of 170 sq. m, a residential building of 71 sq. m, three apartments (170, 107 and 192 sq. m.), shares in non-residential premises, a garage and a Mercedes-Benz S500 car.

In June 2014, the investigation seized Vasilyeva's property for 450 million rubles: bank accounts, paintings, jewelry, 6 properties.

Scandals, criminal cases

The media wrote that Evgenia Vasilyeva's career growth was largely facilitated by close friendship with Anatoly Serdyukov. According to some reports, she was ex-minister's mistress and it was because of this connection that Serdyukov's wife (the daughter of official Viktor Zubkov Yulia) filed for divorce.

On November 23, 2012, Vasilyeva was charged under article "large scale fraud"(part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The suspect was detained by the FSB, the Khamovnichesky court refused to release Vasilyeva on bail of 15 million rubles. and chose her a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest. According to the case file, Vasilyeva, along with other persons, was involved in the theft of property of the subsidiaries of the Oboronservis holding for a total amount of more than 360 million rub.

The defendant refused to admit her guilt and cooperate with the investigation. Vasilyeva, dismissed from the military department in the summer, was brought home from the court in a black Volga with a flashing light and license plates of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the materials of the criminal case, which came into the possession of the press at the stage of the investigation, Vasilyeva, while performing managerial functions at Oboronservis, committed serious crimes "by deception and abuse of trust, misleading the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense."

To implement the criminal plan Vasilyeva E. N. attracted her friend Smetanov E.F., which was supposed to establish a commercial organization and, under the guise of providing agency services, look for the “necessary” buyer of the property being sold, and, in addition, through the firms controlled by it, acquire the most liquid objects and enterprises at reduced prices in favor of E. N. Vasilyeva and other persons.

On December 12, 2012, while under house arrest, Vasilyeva applied to the Khamovniki Court with a request to allow her to live together with the former Minister of Defense A. Serdyukov in apartment 67 on Kosygina Street in Moscow. The court denied this request, but softened the conditions of house arrest: Vasilyeva got the opportunity to see not only her relatives, but also A. Serdyukov, since he is not a defendant in a criminal case, and also use the Internet.

In March 2013, the investigation seized Vasilyeva's three apartments in Moscow and St. Petersburg, her house in the Leningrad Region, as well as non-residential premises in the center of Moscow. In order to control the movements of the detainee, she is wearing a electronic bracelet, and special equipment is installed in the apartment. On March 20, 2013, the court extended Vasilyeva's house arrest until May 23.

March 27, 2013 Vasilyeva was charged with embezzlement of shares JSC "31 State Design Institute of Special Construction" in the amount of more than 190 million rubles.

On April 11, 2013, the Main Military Prosecutor's Office announced that Vasilyeva was involved in the illegal leasing of land by the RF Ministry of Defense in the Leningrad Region, causing damage to the state in RUB 1 billion.

On May 28, 2013, it became known that a new criminal case was initiated against Vasilyeva - under the article "Exceeding official powers, entailing grave consequences." Vasilyeva is charged with the sale at a reduced cost of several real estate and land plots in St. Petersburg, which belonged to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

On June 25, 2013, information appeared that Vasilyeva was still suspected of a number of scams with the property of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for a total of 600 million rubles.

On July 20, 2013, it became known that the Main Military Investigation Department (GVSU) of the TFR opened another criminal case related to Vasilyeva and Serdyukov. The illegal withdrawal of 613 hectares of land in the Leningrad Region from the jurisdiction of the military department is being investigated. The damage from the scam exceeded RUB 1 billion.

To compensate for the damage caused by Vasilyeva's illegal actions, the investigators confiscated more than 1,000 pieces of jewelry from her with a total weight of 19 kg, a collection of expensive watches, jewelry, including 57 thousand precious stones, diamonds, emeralds and rubies.

On October 4, 2013, it became known that Vasilyeva was charged in the final version. She is charged with 12 episodes, under four articles - Art. 159, 174, 285 and 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud, legalization of criminal funds, excess and abuse of official powers). Collectively, Vasilyeva faces up to 12 years in prison.

In November 2013, she wrote an open letter to the press and the Russian public. In it, she stated that she was innocent of any of the 12 episodes that she was charged with, there was no criminal group, and she was frightened by prison in order to extract evidence against ex-Minister of Defense Serdyukov.

"No circumstances will force me to defame and slander the former Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and my former work colleagues", Vasilyeva said in a letter.

The former head of the department of property relations of the Russian Defense Ministry, Yevgenia Vasilyeva, known for the scandalous case of Oboronservis, has received a new job. She became the secretary of a homeowners association (HOA).

Vasilyeva's place of work is a house located in Molochny Lane in the center of the capital. It is there that the ex-official lives, occupying a 13-room apartment with a total area of 192 square meters.

ON THIS TOPIC

As follows from a copy of the minutes of the annual general meeting of members of the HOA, 100% of those present at the meeting voted for the election of Vasilyeva as secretary, the Moscow city news agency reports, citing an informed source. At the same time, the former Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov remained the chairman of the homeowners association.

Note that the duties and functions of the secretary of the HOA are established by the board of the partnership. In particular, he may take minutes of meetings or meetings.

Recall that Yevgenia Vasilyeva was sentenced to five years in prison for embezzlement in the sale of property of the Ministry of Defense. The court credited the ex-official with the time she has been under house arrest since November 2012.

She has been serving her sentence in a colony in the village of Golovino, Vladimir Region, since July 23, 2015. And already on August 25 of the same year, a decision was made on her parole. Vasilyeva is currently under investigation. As part of the criminal case, five real estate objects belonging to the ex-official were arrested.

The government of the Russian Federation again trusts the former Minister of Defense of Russia Anatoly Serdyukov. His candidacy was nominated to the board of directors of the United Aircraft Corporation (). The corresponding order is published on the website.

If the former military commander is confirmed in office, then this increase will be the fourth for less than three years.

So, in 2014, he took the post of adviser to the first deputy general director of the Rostec state corporation, in the fall of 2015 he became the industrial director for the aviation complex, and in October 2016 he joined the board of Rostec.

The start of career growth for Serdyukov was the position of General Director of FIIC M, to which he was appointed after his resignation from the post of Minister of Defense due to a corruption scandal. Although, unlike other defendants in the scandal, Serdyukov did not end up in the dock, since he was amnestied in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. But almost all of his so-called Amazons had to "trample the zone."

Diamonds and poetry

Even the ex-head of the department of property relations of the Moscow Region, a person close to the former military leader not only by virtue of her position, but also at her place of residence (Vasilyeva lived in the same house with Serdyukov. - Gazeta.Ru), visited places not so remote . On May 8, 2015, Vasilyeva was found guilty of money laundering, fraud and theft of agency fees and sentenced to five years in prison in a penal colony.

On July 23, 2015, she was transferred to the women's colony No. 1 (IK-1) in the village of Golovino, Vladimir Region. A month later, the district court at the location of the colony decided to release Vasilyeva immediately on parole.

The court counted the ex-official's house arrest as a sentence served, during which she released a collection of poems, arranged several solo exhibitions of her paintings, and even shot a video. According to media reports, such a promotion could cost Vasilyeva up to $1 million.

Now Evgenia Vasilyeva is studying for a master's degree at the Faculty of Arts, and is also trying to promote her own jewelry business. According to the Kontur.Fokus database, Vasilyeva owns the Constanta, Your Choice, Argument, Priority, StroyPartner and Result companies. All these firms are headed by Mikhail Koptyaev, a graduate of the Lyceum of Arts and Crafts, who once worked for the Almaz-Holding jewelry company. Last year, Koptyaev recruited jewelers and designers for the Result firm who could create sketches, make professional freehand drawings, and develop new jewelry from scratch. However, according to financial reports, the company "Result" is unprofitable. In 2014, the company's revenue amounted to 48 million rubles, and losses - 17 million.

According to media reports, the main income for Vasilyeva's firms comes from renting out real estate. So, the publication in 2016 wrote that the ex-official allegedly owns a room on the Arbat with an area of 642.7 square meters. m, which is rented by Fastland LLC, operating in the catering market under the sign of the Mu-mu cafe chain. In a word, after the release of Yevgeny Vasilyeva, she plunged headlong into business and no longer pleases Russians with her own creativity.

Argentine tango under state protection

Under investigation, not only Evgenia Vasilyeva became interested in art, but also her ex-girlfriend Ekaterina Smetanova. She headed the Expert Legal Support Center LLC, which was engaged in the evaluation of objects intended for sale. According to investigators, Smetanova received illegal monetary rewards through an intermediary for conducting property assessments, and the price of buildings was allegedly significantly underestimated.

In April 2016, Smetanova was given a four-year suspended sentence with a five-year probationary period. She was also fined in the amount of a single amount of commercial bribery - a little less than 6.5 million rubles. At the same time, the case of Smetanova was considered behind closed doors and in a special order. Even during the investigation in 2013, the woman entered into a pre-trial cooperation agreement, under which she pleaded guilty and testified against other defendants in the scandal, including Evgenia Vasilyeva. After these testimonies, Smetanova was released from and taken under state protection in connection with the possible exertion of pressure on her.

As Gazeta.Ru found out, being under state protection, Smetanova did not waste time: she was engaged in business and Latin American dances.

Moreover, during the investigation, the key witness became an advanced dancer who regularly takes part in amateur competitions. For example, in October 2016, Smetanova participated in the Russian Open Argentine Tango Championship and entered the top three. In addition, the woman participates in concerts and performances organized by her dance club.

Meanwhile, Smetanova's husband Maxim Zakutailo, who was also involved in the case of embezzlement at Oboronservis, was released on parole in the summer of 2016. “They are doing well, they work, and none of them wants to remember the past, and dancing is just a hobby,” said Olga Pozharskaya, Smetanova’s mother, refusing to comment further. Smetanova herself did not want to communicate with reporters.

Alcohol Chronicles

In the summer of 2016, another defendant in the Oboronservis criminal case, Irina, was also released on parole. According to investigators, Yegorova was the chief treasurer of Vasilyeva: the woman cashed out the profit received from shady transactions with military real estate and returned it to her accomplices. With cash from Yegorova, her friends from the Ministry of Defense and Oboronservis bought apartments, cars, jewelry and hired attendants. On May 8, 2015, the court sentenced Yegorova to three and a half years in prison.

It is noteworthy that she was sent to the women's colony No. 1 (IK-1) in the village of Golovino, Vladimir Region, where Yevgeny Vasilyev was serving a term. True, unlike her, Egorova stayed in the zone not for 31 days, but for ten months. Moreover, the petition for her parole was considered by the same judge who released the former military official.

Apparently, in captivity, Yegorova did not waste her business acumen. Four months after her release, the woman registered and headed the Wolf company, which, according to the statutory documents, is engaged in the retail sale of alcohol.

In addition, according to Kontur.Fokus, Egorova owns Status LLC, which is engaged in the wholesale trade in food products, as well as the Khors and Roniks plus enterprises. In two more firms, Hydron and Vector-SPb, owned by Evgenia Vasilyeva, Egorova holds the position of head.

Under the wing of Serdyukov's son

It should be noted that not all participants in the corruption scandal in the Ministry of Defense were involved in the same criminal case. For example, Natalya Dynkova and her son Nikolai were convicted on other counts. And Evgenia Vasilyeva was a witness in their case.

The surname Dynkova began to be mentioned in the press at the beginning of 2012, when it was only reported about the upcoming large-scale layoffs in the military department. Then she was called the general director of "Agroprom", "daughter", and there were suggestions about problems with the supply of food within the framework of the state defense order. However, the court was accused of illegal transactions with military property, which Natalya Dynkova entered into while she was the general director of the 439th Central Experimental Military Cartographic Factory. The Ministry of Defense demanded to coordinate transactions with property with the department of property relations of the department. But Dynkova independently leased non-residential premises to StroyAlliance LLC on conditions that were obviously unfavorable for the military department. The sole founder of the company was her son Nikolai Dynkov. He received at his disposal six buildings with a total area of 6 thousand square meters. m and began to sublease them.

In the summer of 2014, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow sentenced Natalia Dynkova to three years in prison in a settlement colony. Her son Nikolai, who earned more than 34 million rubles on sublease, was sentenced to two years in a colony-settlement. The mother and son are now free.

In 2016, Nikolai Dynkov, according to the Kartoteka.ru database, headed the Kraft construction company, which belongs to the son of Anatoly Serdyukov, Sergey.

Obviously, Dynkov will lead the company out of the crisis, because, according to open data, the company is incurring losses. So, in 2015, with a revenue of 4 million rubles, Kraft's losses amounted to 230 thousand rubles. Moreover, the company does not disdain even very small orders. For example, Kraft did parking for one of its subsidiaries for 50,000 rubles.

Meanwhile, not all defendants in the Oboronservis case have yet been released. So, now the former deputy director of Oboronstroy OJSC Yuri Grekhnev and his former boss, ex-head are in custody. However, according to Gazeta.Ru sources, as early as March of this year, they will file petitions for parole, and, most likely, the court will meet them halfway. At least the Federal Penitentiary Service has no complaints against them and characterizes them as disciplined prisoners. All other defendants in the Oboronservis criminal case, who have already been released, received the same characteristics.

During the investigation of the criminal case of multi-billion dollar embezzlement at Oboronservis, the image of the main defendant Yevgenia Vasilyeva has changed dramatically.

From an official-swindler who sold out according to dubious schemes ...

... the property of the Ministry of Defense, Vasilyeva turned into a socialite, poetess, artist and victim of unhappy love. Experts believe that professional image makers had a hand in creating and promoting this image.

The cost of such a PR campaign can exceed $1 million.

The 35-year-old ex-head of the department of property relations of the Ministry of Defense Evgenia Vasilyeva received all-Russian fame in October 2012. Detectives investigating a criminal case of embezzlement in the military department came to search her apartment, located in an elite building in the center of Moscow, and found Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov there.

However, Serdyukov himself got into the main case of fraud and embezzlement in the department under his control as a witness who was "misled by his subordinates." An amnesty saved a relative of Serdyukov from accusations of using conscripts in the construction of a road to the dacha for a relative of Serdyukov.

Vasilyeva was less fortunate. From a little-known, but rather attractive official, she immediately turned into the main character of the crime chronicle.

According to investigators, Vasilyeva, along with her subordinates, participated in scams in the sale of real estate, land and shares owned by Oboronservis. The attackers chose from the assets the most liquid and prestigious objects, plots and shares, including those in the center of Moscow, and sold them at a reduced price to "their" companies. Moreover, some assets were bought from funds stolen from the Ministry of Defense itself. The total amount of damage from dubious transactions, according to the UK, exceeded 16 billion rubles. The Investigative Committee charged Vasilyeva under Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (“Fraud”), 174 of the Criminal Code (“Money Laundering”), 285 of the Criminal Code (“Abuse of Power”), 286 of the Criminal Code (“Excess of Official Power”).

However, while the investigators were collecting evidence of her criminal activities, the ex-official also did not sit idle. She wrote poetry, played music and drew - as a result, her image radically changed in the direction of a socialite and a lover of fine arts, who sacrifices her honest name in the name of love for a high dignitary.

Black slippers from a loved one

According to Andrey Lapshov, a political strategist and CEO of the INSIDERS communication group, in the case of Yevgenia Vasilyeva, the change of image is comparable to plastic surgery.

This is clearly a well-planned and carefully orchestrated PR campaign, which is aimed not only at creating a new image for Vasilyeva, but also at changing the entire information field around her, explains Lapshov.

According to him, a PR campaign of this magnitude involving newspapers, radio, television, holding art exhibitions, releasing music albums and books costs at least $1 million and involves top-level professionals who think through every action to the smallest detail. Moreover, each individual share can cost tens of thousands of rubles, but taking into account the resonance in the media, their price increases hundreds of times.

Work on a new image of Evgenia Vasilyeva began in 2013, when she, already in the rank of the accused, after a long silence, suddenly began to give interviews right and left. Vasilyeva gave one of them in her luxurious apartment in Molochny Lane to another socialite - TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak. They talked over a glass of champagne. In general, this conversation would have been no different from a dozen previous interviews if Vasilyeva had not suggested that Sobchak put on black men's slippers at the entrance.

It was a very subtle stylistically verified provocation, - says Sergey Enikolopov, head of the department of criminal psychology at the Moscow City Psychological and Pedagogical University. - Before the audience, the image of a lonely, abandoned, defenseless woman immediately arose, on which the entire law enforcement system collapsed. And only slippers remained from the beloved.

Love lyrics and reality

At the same time, poems by Evgenia Vasilyeva about unhappy love and suffering of the most lyrical heroine began to appear on the Internet and the media. At the same time, they often talked about a high-ranking military official, possibly ex-Minister Anatoly Serdyukov. Vasilyeva met him back in the early 2000s in St. Petersburg. They graduated from law school at the same time.

However, according to her, she built her own career for Yevgeny Vasilyeva on her own. After graduation, she was engaged in real estate activities, worked as a legal adviser in various commercial organizations. In 2006, Vasilyeva moved to Moscow and got a job at the Sholding construction and investment company, where she worked for five months. Since 2007, Vasilyeva has served as an adviser to the first deputy mayor of Moscow, Vladimir Resin, whom she met in March 2007 in Cannes, at an international real estate exhibition. In 2009, Vasilyeva worked for a very short time in the presidential administration, after which in 2010 she moved to work in the Ministry of Defense. According to media reports, it was Resin who recommended Vasilyev to Serdyukov as a valuable specialist. Vladimir Resin himself does not comment on his work with Vasilyeva.

Meanwhile, according to high-ranking interlocutors in the military department, at work Vasilyeva did not behave at all like a lady and a poetess.

In 2011, the story of the dismissal of Deputy Defense Minister Mikhail Mokretsov was leaked to the press. According to sources, Mokretsov lost his post after a public scolding that Vasilyeva arranged for him.

Complete bad manners, screaming, tantrums, mat. This young woman could yell at a high-ranking official of the ministry, a multi-star general, so that her ears were sluggish, the department still recalls.

Other interlocutors of Izvestia, who worked with Vasilyeva, also could not recall that she showed a penchant for poetry.

Vasilyeva impressed me as a very demanding and tough leader who delves into every detail and does not allow her subordinates to relax, - said ex-lawyer of MIRA LLC Dmitry Mityaev, already convicted of fraud with Oboronservis real estate for 2 years and 8 months. - It seemed that she had a calculator in her head. She added any numbers faster than a computer.

According to psychologist Sergei Enikolopov, it was thanks to the publication of her poems that Evgenia Vasilyeva began to turn from an iron lady with accounting brains into a typical victim of unhappy love.

In the language of psychologists, this is called "warming the image," he explains.

The price of poetry and paintings

However, "warming the image" also costs money. In the spring of this year, the Moscow book publishing house "Algorithm" published a collection of poems by Ms. Vasilyeva in a two thousandth edition. According to her lawyer Khasan-Ali Borokov, the publication was initiated by the publishers themselves. According to him, he received a letter from Algorithm with a proposal for cooperation. The publishing house considered that Vasilyeva's book would be in demand among readers.

As far as I know, the book has been published and costs 500 rubles, - said the lawyer. - True, acquaintances say that they cannot find it anywhere, and ask me for copies as a gift.

"Izvestia" also failed to find Vasilyeva's poems for free sale on the shelves of the capital's shops and specialized Internet portals.

According to experts, the publication of Vasilyeva's book was a good PR move for little money both for Algorithm itself and for Evgenia Vasilyeva.

The total cost of a collection of poems, published in an edition of 2 thousand copies, most likely did not exceed 200 thousand rubles, - says the poet and writer Viktor Kiryushin. - "Algorithm" is a publishing house that stands firmly on its feet and can afford to invest in such a publication for the sake of advertising.

According to the poet, he does not see other goals in the release of such literature. Because metropolitan publishing houses, as a rule, do not associate with modern poetry at all, because it is quite difficult to sell such literature today.

It was not possible to get a comment from the publisher itself.

Meanwhile, the advertising for the collection of poems and the publishing house was overwhelming. Accused of fraud overnight became a poetess. But the magical transformation did not end there. From May 14 to May 28, in the Dresden art gallery, located in the building of Gostiny Dvor, located in Khrustalny Lane, a five-minute walk from the Kremlin, Evgenia Vasilyeva hosted a personal exhibition of paintings entitled "Life Behind Glass". In "Dresden" the ex-official exhibited her painting.

However, anyone can easily exhibit their works in the Dresden Gallery.

A day of renting a hall costs 10,000 rubles, the gallery said. - For this money, we place paintings in our halls, and also help to prepare the concept of the exhibition and print invitations.

According to the gallery staff, the author himself should deal with the large-scale promotion of the exhibition in the media. Andrey Lapshov from INSIDERS notes that the total cost of such PR campaigns increases many times with the number of mentions in various media. And with this, Vasilyeva has no problems at all.

Golden Cage Singer

The most expensive action in the promotion of the new image of Vasilyeva can be the production and presentation on June 20 in the pretentious metropolitan club Soho of a video clip for the song “No way”, which was written and performed by the main defendant in the case of Oboronservis.

According to Borokov's lawyer, the video for the song was filmed by a well-known Russian music video director, whose name has not yet been disclosed.

Before the presentation, I cannot disclose his name, - the lawyer explained. - But the video was filmed using the latest technology and meets the needs of the demanding metropolitan public. The song is performed by Evgenia Vasilyeva in rap style.

Borokov says that the shooting of the video was carried out in Vasilyeva's apartment and the house arrest regime was not violated in any way.

Meanwhile, according to Andrey Mostovshchikov, Director General of Telemost Production, the cost of producing a music video depends on many things - from the special equipment involved in filming to the scenery used. The price varies from $25,000 to $1 million.

The announcement of the clip has already been posted on the U-Tube ELLO TV music channel, which regularly broadcasts the latest in domestic pop music. The channel was created in 2010 by Valery Sigal. He also owns the advertising agency ELLO Networks, registered in Moscow. In addition to advertising, the agency is engaged in the promotion of musicians, actors and artists. Whether Yevgeny Vasilyeva is among their clients, the agency does not comment.

"Izvestia" found out who in fact has been promoting the image of Vasilyeva as a subtle creative nature in recent months. This is journalist Igor Dudinsky, one of the founders of the once popular newspaper Megapolis Express and the father of the scandalous director Valeria Gai Germanika. As he himself wrote in his blog on social networks, "acquaintance and communication with Evgenia made a revolution in my worldview."

I suddenly saw how much frank human shit had accumulated around me. Solid zombies who have formed as individuals on the manure produced by the media. I saw and was horrified. Now I'm trying to cleanse myself, - this is how Dudinsky describes his feelings after communicating with the "prisoner of Dairy".

It turns out that Vasilyeva, not without the help of image makers, has become a recognizable media person, and after the promotion of the video, she may also become a singer. By the way, she gave her last interview to the fashionable glossy magazine Tatler, which specializes exclusively in news from social life. Thus, the transformation of the accused of multi-billion dollar embezzlement into a society lady can be considered already taken place.

Evgenia Vasilyeva is a Russian civil servant and business entrepreneur, from 2011 to 2012 she served as head of the Department of Property Relations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Oboronservis holding, she became a notorious personality and the main defendant in a high-profile corruption criminal case against the Russian defense department.

The business woman won the burning interest of society in her own person thanks to her lifestyle - being already under house arrest, the woman began to get involved in music and painting, and without higher art education she entered the most prestigious International Art Fund in the world and spent many millions of rubles in the capital's boutiques .

Childhood and youth

Evgenia Nikolaevna Vasilyeva was born on February 20, 1979 in the cultural capital of Russia in the family of Russian multimillionaire entrepreneur Nikolai Vasilyev. She was the only child in a wealthy family, so from childhood she lived in luxury and prosperity. For mother Lyudmila Iosifovna and a loving father, the daughter was a real princess, in which they tried to put all the best.

As a child, Vasilyeva was an ordinary child - she went to school, walked in the yard with her friends, attended creative circles. She was surrounded by the love of relatives and friends, which allowed her to do any business she liked.

After graduating from high school, the future head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation entered St. Petersburg State University at the Faculty of Law. At the university, the girl studied with the daughter of the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Yulia Zubkova, and the ex-Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, whose life paths were closely intertwined in the future.

In 2001, Evgenia graduated from the university with honors, after which her career rapidly crept up - starting with work in several real estate offices, the future defendant in the Oboronservis case literally became the general director of the branch of the largest construction company Su-155 in just 5 months.

Career

Evgenia Vasilyeva got into the world of politics and business thanks to a useful acquaintance in Cannes with Vladimir Resin, who at that time held the post of first deputy mayor of Moscow. He invited her to become his adviser, which the careerist, of course, did not refuse. Having moved to the capital, the woman, accustomed to luxury, immediately settled in an elite house in the center of Moscow in Molochny Lane - according to the USRR, her apartment consisted of 4 rooms with a total area of 200 square meters. m.

In 2009, the future head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation became an adviser to the deputy head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation, and a year later, as an adviser, she got into the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, headed by Serdyukov. In 2011, Vasilyeva was appointed head of the department of property relations of the department, for successful work in which in 2012 the current president of the Russian Federation was awarded the Order of Honor.

In parallel with her work in the defense department, the official is on the board of directors of Oboronservis, a controlled organization of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Over the entire period of the existence of this holding, scandals have repeatedly flared up around it. The last of them was crime, the main character of which was Vasilyeva.

The assets of Oboronservis were so impressive that the organization seemed like a "tasty morsel" for officials who wanted to cash in on the state's expense. The passion for a luxurious life, apparently, was the reason for such an unhappy end to the career of Evgenia Nikolaevna, who was removed from her position in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, after which she was charged with fraud and theft of state property.

The case of "Oboronservis"

In November 2012, the FSB of the Russian Federation detained Yevgenia Vasilyeva on suspicion of committing serious crimes committed during the period of managerial activity at Oboronservis. She and other employees of this organization were accused of organized fraud and theft of property of subsidiaries of a holding company controlled by the Russian Defense Ministry in the amount of more than 350 million rubles. The former head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense refused to plead guilty to the incriminated criminal case, saying that she did not intend to cooperate with the investigation.

A press release from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation indicated that Vasilyeva was involved in the sale of valuable real estate owned by the Ministry of Defense at reduced prices, many of which were purchased by “necessary” buyers with stolen money from Oboronservis. According to the episodes incriminated to Evgenia Nikolaevna, the loudest was the sale of the State Design Institute, which is of strategic importance for the Russian military department. The amount of damage caused by Vasilyeva and her accomplices to Russia is estimated by the Prosecutor General's Office at 3 billion rubles, lost by the country on the sale of 8 capital properties.

During the investigation into the criminal case of Oboronservis, Vasilyeva's apartment was searched. Police officers seized documents of interest to the case under investigation, cash in the amount of 3.5 million rubles, antiques, watches of famous brands, collections of expensive paintings and about 1.5 thousand pieces of jewelry in total weighing 19 kg in the amount of 130 million rubles.

With a declared income of 6 million rubles. a civil servant, of course, could not afford such a luxury, but Vasilyeva's father said that all the seized jewelry were his gifts to his daughter.

After the indictment, the Khamovniki Court refused to release Yevgenia Nikolaevna on bail in the amount of 15 million rubles, and chose a preventive measure for her until the end of the investigative process in the form of house arrest. A month later, Vasilyeva asked to be allowed to live with former Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, with whom, by her own admission, she has been on close terms for several years. The court did not satisfy the petition of the defendant, but allowed her to see relatives and Serdyukov, as well as use a computer and the Internet.

At the beginning of 2013, all of Vasilyeva’s property was seized, and in October of the same year Evgenia Nikolaevna was charged in the final version - she was charged with 12 episodes of fraud, legalization of criminal funds, abuse and abuse of power and embezzlement of state funds in particular large size in his position in the defense department. After the indictment, Vasilyeva's property in the amount of 450 million rubles. was arrested, which included bank accounts, 6 properties and jewelry.

The trial of Yevgenia Nikolaevna began on July 1, 2014 and lasted for 10 months. On May 8, 2015, the former chief of staff of the Ministry of Defense was found guilty of fraud in the sale of assets of the military department and sentenced to 5 years in prison to be served in a penal colony.

Thus, taking into account the stay under house arrest, Evgenia had to spend the next 2.5 years in prison. After the verdict was passed, the convict was taken into custody in the courtroom and imprisoned in a pre-trial detention center in Pechatniki. In July 2015, Vasilyeva was transferred to a women's colony in the Vladimir region.

On August 25, 2015, Evgenia was released. Lawyers on the eve filed a petition for parole of the ex-official due to the fact that Vasilyeva promptly compensated the damage to the injured party (her father paid over 216 million rubles).

It follows from the court ruling that the ex-civil servant will not change her place of residence and work for the next 2 years, 2 months and 28 days.

Personal life

Convicted in the criminal case of "Oboronservis" has never been married and has no children. The former head of the apparatus of the Ministry of Defense dreamed of a child, but she has not yet succeeded in becoming a mother.

According to the official statement of her lawyer Khasan Ali Borokov, in 2012 Vasilyeva lost her baby, as severe stress during the search of her apartment and investigative measures in the criminal case of Oboronservis caused a miscarriage, after which Evgenia is unlikely to be able to become pregnant and bear a child .

The only man seen next to her was the ex-Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anatoly Serdyukov, in close relations with whom Vasilyeva herself admitted. According to Evgenia, in Anatolia she found a reliable person with whom she was ready to connect her life. The former Minister of Defense was married to the daughter of a statesman, but his connection with the official of the Ministry of Defense became known to the public.

Even during the search of the housing, the ex-official Evgenia Vasilyeva and Anatoly Serdyukov were together in the apartment. Information appeared in the media that Yulia Zubkova filed for divorce, but Anatoly Serdyukov did not confirm the fact of parting with his wife.

The scandal provoked public interest in the person and biography of Evgenia Nikolaevna. Reporters exaggerated rumors that the accused is a cousin, the wife of Dmitry Medvedev.

This fact was confirmed by the loyalty of the ex-president to the activities of his former subordinate Anatoly Serdyukov. In addition, at the beginning of 2012, she received the Order of Honor from the hands of Medvedev Vasiliev. And after Yevgenia's arrest, they talked about the fact that Svetlana Vladimirovna repeatedly visited the prisoner. But the most inquisitive users assure that these speculations are unfounded - the names of the grandfathers of the two women differ, which excludes their close relationship.

After being placed under house arrest, Evgenia Vasilyeva kept silent for a while. The woman was sure that her persecution would stop in the near future, she considered all the accusations against her to be absurd. When she realized that the case would be brought to an end, she began to meet with journalists. During this time, the defendant in the Oboronservis case gave an interview to the deputy editor-in-chief of the REN TV channel.

Then Vasilyeva became interested in creativity. She was interested in painting. The works of a woman in the style of primitivism were exhibited in the Moscow gallery "Expo-88". The exposition was called "Flowers from Captivity". According to the artist, she created up to 12 paintings per night.

Vasilyeva posted photos of her own paintings on social networks. Provocative pictures with Evgenia herself often appeared there, in which she appeared in a swimsuit or skimpy outfits.

The former official also tried her hand at poetry and music. She published a book of poems, recorded a number of musical compositions. A video for her song "Slippers" was presented on YouTube.

Now the personal life of Evgenia Nikolaevna has again become a subject of public interest. At the end of the summer of 2018, the media space was blown up by the news that Serdyukov and Vasilyeva. The marriage of two former colleagues was immediately dubbed by reporters as the "wedding of the year."

The information was provided by a popular TV journalist who interviewed an ex-employee of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. However, the former Minister of Defense himself categorically refused to comment on such speculation, stating that "they will remain on the conscience of the one who distributes them."

While at large, Evgenia took up the promotion of the Result jewelry brand. In 2017, Vasilyeva received a position in the structure of the HOA of her house, and also registered a new trademark "Nonrealism".

In 2018, she defended her master's degree from the Faculty of Arts of Moscow State University. It is possible that in 2019 the ex-official under a new trademark will start publishing books, producing furniture or opening her own art salon.
