Today's post, I devote to an equally important topic-NUTRITION!

And I give the floor to my ideological partner, as well as one of my business partners:

Prof. Dr. Tatiana Stetsenko, Research Laboratory of High Technologies of Health Management, Kiev

The average modern person eats 80% of "dead" refined, genetically modified food. And he does not at all think about the fact that the structure of food in the last 50 years has changed much more than in the previous 10,000 (!)

A living organism is not able to utilize such a quantity of preservatives, dyes, chemical components introduced into it, including toxic ones, which are completely incompatible not only with health, but also with life itself!

For example, in 1996, genetically modified foods accounted for 2% of the total amount produced in the United States, and in 2008 - already 90% (!);

- among children born in 2000 and subsequent years, the risk of diabetes is 1 in 3 (!), Although traditionally, diabetes has always been considered a "senile" disease;

- on average, among the 47 thousand items of goods in every supermarket of the richest country in the world, about 70% are made from corn (!) - from baby food to charcoal!

And such examples can be cited indefinitely ...

Find out your blood type and switch to foods that match genetic markers. At the same time, orient yourself towards a predominantly separate and more dietary, according to the method of preparation, food. This will help the body to quickly cleanse itself of those toxic accumulations that have been “stored” for decades, slowing down metabolic processes and lowering immunity. It will provide a more active restoration of neurohumoral connections and the body will begin to better “hear”, “understand” and “execute” commands coming from the “main control center”.

Heavier foods are better absorbed from 12:00 to 14:00. It is at this time that you plan your main meal: meat, poultry or fish (low-fat varieties) with a variety of vegetable side dishes.

Dishes from eggs, mushrooms, vegetables, cottage cheese, fruits - use effectively throughout the day, forming 3-4 more full meals from them.

Such 5-6 meals a day ensures a regular outflow of bile, promotes excellent digestion with minimal stress on the digestive tract. Reduces the risk of stone formation. Normalizes the work of the excretory systems.

When switching to a "health-preserving" food system, minimize the consumption of sweets, smoked meats, and other products with "sharp" taste sensations. Use natural spices - lemon juice, olive oil, toasted flaxseed, sea and sauerkraut, garlic, herbs, etc.

The ideal amount of food for one meal is up to 350 grams.

NEVER overeat! NEVER eat "for the company" or because it is "necessary"! NEVER seize stress or depression!

"All will pass. And this, too, will pass! ”, Asserted the great King Solomon. And the weight is overweight, it will remain, and you will have to deal with it for a long time, as with an additional factor that increases the risk of diabetes mellitus and not only ...

Allow at least 20 minutes for each meal to give the satiety signal to prevent overeating.

Analyze, and you will be surprised - how much excess food you overloaded your long-suffering organism! Learn to "listen" to his true needs and he will give you great health, great complexion and pleasure from the sight of preserved banknotes, which can be used for more pleasant things!

Brodsky, however, was not the first. We can recall, for example, the statement of the philosopher-emigre Ivan Ilyin: “By reading you can recognize and define a person. For each of us is what he reads; and every person is something how he reads; and we all become imperceptible by what we read from what we have read - as if a bouquet of flowers collected by us in reading ”(On Reading, 1958).

However, the history of this thought is much older. The adage “A man is what he reads” (“Der Mensch ist, was er liest”) existed in Germany already in the 1870s. It paraphrases the saying "A man is what he eats" ("Der Mensch ist, was er isst"), which appeared in Ludwig Feuerbach's review of Jacob Moleschott's book "The Doctrine of Nutrition" (1850).

The French version of this maxim - "Tell me what you are reading and I will tell you who you are" - appeared half a century earlier, in Etienne de Joux's essay "House on the Rue Arsy" (1813). François Mauriac remarked on this: “ The saying “ Tell me what you are reading, and I will tell you who you are "fairly, but I would know you even better if you told me that you are rereading" (Memoirs of Inner Life, 1959). An unexpected interpretation of this wisdom was offered by Ilya Ilf in his "Notebooks": "Tell me what you are reading, and I will tell you from whom you stole this book."

The earliest formulation of the thought in the title of this article was contained in the book Christian Perfection by the British William Lowe (1726): “They say that a person can be recognized by the people with whom he hangs out; but, of course, you can even better recognize a person by the books he talks to. "

In his essay "Bow to the Shadow" Brodsky warned: "... we are changed by what we love, sometimes to the point of losing our own individuality." Moreover: “Everything that you read affects you in one way or another, hidden or directly, or somehow else, but most likely hidden” (conversation with Czeslav Milos, 1989). Here Brodsky - hardly suspecting this - repeated Oscar Wilde: “I was influenced by all the books that I read, and not one of the newspapers” (letter to an unknown addressee, 1891).

When it comes to literary influences, it is worth mentioning the admission of the Canadian writer Margaret Atwood: “Of all the books I read, the Brothers Grimm Tales had the greatest influence on me” (What the Brothers Grimm's Tales Give a Writer, 1985).

Passionate bookseller Marina Tsvetaeva warned: “Each book is a theft from one's own life. The more you read, the less you know how and you want to live on your own ”(from the diaries). The American essayist Logan Pearsall Smith objected to her: “I've heard that life is not a bad thing, but I prefer reading” (Belated Thoughts, 1931). In one of the interviews of the Strugatsky brothers, the saying “Reading is more interesting than living” was quoted - without specifying the author. It belongs to the Voronezh aphorist Arkady Davidovich and in its full form looks like this: "Watching is more interesting than reading, and reading is more interesting than living."

Saint Jerome, the translator of the Bible, exclaimed: "Oh, if only I had books of all authors, so that inertia of mind would be rewarded with diligence in reading!" ("Letters", 83). The Polish novelist Kazimierz Przewa-Tetmayer was of a different opinion: “A sensible writer does not read anyone. There is no point in reading those who write worse than him. Reading those who write better is just getting upset. "

That writers are not very fond of reading has been noticed a long time ago. The phrase: "I do not read books - I write them" - we find in the London comic magazine "Punch" on May 11, 1878. And in the middle of the XX century, the aphorism of Emil Krotkiy appeared: “I have not read anything. He was not a reader, but a writer. " From here, perhaps, the famous "Chukchi is not a reader, a Chukchi writer" was born.

But do writers only read nothing? About this - in our next article "Lem's Law, or Nobody Reads Nothing."

It is difficult to overestimate the importance of calcium. Suffice it to say that it is a building material for our body and is an indispensable element not only of the bone, but also of the human circulatory and nervous systems. Without calcium, our body simply could not exist. It is calcium that is responsible for transmitting signals to nerve endings and, in general, affects human immunity and is vital, both for the good functioning of the cardiovascular system and for regulating the functioning of the central nervous system.
Today, doctors talk about the effect of calcium on the development of human intelligence. Deficiency leads to memory loss and can even lead to dementia and multiple sclerosis.
The largest amount of calcium is found in the skeletal system - 99% (this also includes nails and hair). The circulatory system accounts for only 1% of the calcium content in the body, but the significance of this 1% is simply enormous. When the balance is disturbed, the intensity of the heart's work decreases, and as a result, the narrowing and fragility of the vessels, which leads to the development of hypertension - a disease of the century.

Symptoms of a lack of calcium in the body.
According to Dr. Wallock, a lack of calcium in the body is the cause of about 147 diseases and can manifest itself in various symptoms, usually negative, both for the external appearance and for the whole body as a whole. Osteochondrosis, osteoporosis, kidney stones, high blood pressure, seizures, multiple sclerosis - this is an incomplete list of diseases caused by calcium deficiency. Yes, gray hair, hair loss, brittle nails and facial nerve palsy are all from the same list.
Calcium deficiency leads to thinning of bone tissue, fragility and an increased risk of fragility. Primarily, the areas at risk are the spine, hip and wrist.
Due to a lack of calcium, not only bones become fragile, but also blood vessels, which immediately hits the entire cardiovascular system. Brittle blood vessels are the source of all cardiovascular diseases.
Lack of calcium also affects the mental state, causing increased irritability and aggressiveness.
What to do?
The answer is clear - to make up for the calcium deficiency in the body, and the faster, the better. A balanced diet high in calcium can regulate blood pressure and lead to full recovery if the disease is caused by a calcium deficiency in the body.
Products containing calcium: First of all, these are dairy products: cottage cheese, milk, cheese, yogurt, sour cream. Nations, whose daily diet includes fermented milk products, live up to 120 years! A dairy diet is not only a guarantee of health, but also a regulator of your weight and can lead to a decrease in obesity.
Important: the lower the fat content of your dairy products, the higher the calcium content. So tasty is not always healthy and sometimes it is better to give preference in favor of “usefulness”.
Another source of calcium is fish: salmon and sardines. Calcium is also found in plant foods: vegetables (cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, celery and parsley), peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds. Replenishment of the body with calcium is possible with the use of garlic, radish and eggs.
Important: for the absorption of calcium, the presence of vitamin D is necessary. There are foods that neutralize calcium - this is oxalic acid, which is found in spinach and chocolate. Eating these foods interferes with calcium absorption.
Risk group.
This group includes the most unprotected representatives of our society: pregnant women, children and the elderly, and it is they who, first of all, should pay attention to the calcium deficiency in the body.
During pregnancy, a woman loses up to 30 mg of calcium. The reason, I think, is clear: calcium is a building material not only for the child's skeletal system, but for the whole organism as a whole. For breastfeeding alone, a woman loses up to 300 mg of calcium.
If a young mother does not take vitamins or compensate for the calcium deficiency by consuming appropriate food, then her health will be significantly damaged. Remember how many women lose their teeth during pregnancy. The reason is calcium deficiency. The daily diet of a pregnant and lactating woman should include foods such as cottage cheese, milk, cheese.
Children, like no one else, need an adequate supply of minerals, including calcium, into the body. They are indispensable for the "building" of a growing organism. Today, every second child has scoliosis (curvature of the spine), and this is nothing more than a lack of calcium. Remember the saying: "Children drink milk, you will be healthy!" Milk, like cottage cheese, is high in calcium, and these foods should be on your table every day. Attention: a lack of calcium in the most negative way can affect the development of the intelligence of your child!
The elderly are also at risk. Over the years, calcium is flushed out of the body, which has the most negative effect on the entire state of health in general: high blood pressure, frequent bone fractures, poor memory, multiple sclerosis, I just don’t want to continue further ... You know the saying: “What is old, what's small? " Elderly people require special attention to themselves, and this, first of all, concerns nutrition. The diet of an elderly person, like a child, must include cottage cheese, dairy products and cheese. The body of an elderly person does not grow, but after serving for many years, it requires support.

Nutrition plays a very important role in human life. Your health and the very quality of life depends on how balanced it is. Eat right and live long!

HEALTH IS A HEAD TO ALL !!!
It has always been and remains a good tradition at the festive table to raise the first toast with the wish to stay young and beautiful as long as possible, good health, happy and long life.

To begin with, let's try to figure out what our beauty depends on. I think that I will not reveal a big secret, saying that, first of all, the beauty of a person depends on the state of health of his body. This is what determines the color of the skin, and the shine of the hair, and the radiance of the eyes. Only a healthy person is truly beautiful and happy. Indeed, health comes first.

According to the German philosopher L. Schopenhauer, "nine-tenths of our happiness depends on health."

We all want to be healthy, so why is it that only a few can boast of their health? Why, despite the increase in the sale of drugs, the emergence of a variety of new foods, every decade there is an increase in diseases such as cancer, diabetes, asthma, nervous disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system? Maybe we are looking for health in the wrong place?

If you ask any person, then each, according to his understanding, will give an answer, and everyone will find a reason why he cannot be healthy enough. Some will say that there is no money for medicines, and that only good pills will help to cope with the disease. Others will say that sport is the basis of everything, and they will also be right to a certain extent. Still others will find the causes of diseases in ecology, nervous stresses ...

“Disease is not something special, independent. It is an ordinary phenomenon of life under conditions that are unfavorable for the body, ”said the outstanding Russian doctor Sergei Botkin.

How to prioritize human health issues correctly?

Let's turn to official sources.

WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

WHO HAS INDICATED KEY FACTORS AFFECTING HEALTH:

1.Heediness 8%
2.Ecology 11%
3.Stress 6%
4. Nutrition 75%

The state of health of the body is influenced not only by external factors, heredity and stress, the effects of which cannot be avoided, but also by dietary habits. And most importantly, our health depends on it, our nutrition, by 75%.

Food largely determines the state of health and life expectancy of a person.

SO FROM WHAT DOES A MAN DIE TODAY?

According to the same WHO, 70% of deaths on earth occur for three main reasons:

1.Cardiovascular disease
2 cancer
3. Diabetes mellitus

And what is the most deplorable 50% of the CAUSES causing these diseases are directly related to nutrition.

INCREDIBLE BUT FACT: 50% OF ALL DISEASES CAN BE AVOIDED BY CHANGING THE DIET.

Think about these numbers. Despite military conflicts, disasters, cataclysms, accidents, etc., people in 70% of cases die from the fact that they do not eat correctly.
Is a modern person stupid enough not to see the obvious - the problem is in nutrition, changing this to increase the duration and quality of life !!?
Unfortunately, modern man is driven into a double trap (the trap of civilization).

According to the latest data, each cell of the human body needs a daily intake of 600 to 650 nutrients - micronutrients. Our diet should contain about 32 different types of food: bread, meat, fish, milk, vegetables, fruits, herbs, cereals, vegetable oil, etc.

What does a modern man have in his diet, what does he receive in excess, and what does he catastrophically lack? Why 70% of deaths on our planet are attributed to malnutrition?

ECOLOGY, MODERN TECHNOLOGIES OF GROWING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE OF FOOD PROVIDE DISPUTE RESULTS.

Our usual diet contains an excess of fats, carbohydrates, salt and harmful substances (including carcinogens) obtained as a result of over-processing, cooking or preserving food.

On the other hand, Our diet lacks vitamins, essential amino acids, trace elements, minerals, vegetable protein and oil, vegetable fiber.

All these substances enter the body only with food and water.

But to get them in the right amount, you need an excessive amount of varied food, which inevitably leads to overeating and illness.

The simplest solution - to eat less, only exacerbates the deficiency of vitamins, minerals and other substances that you get from food. As a result of this "starvation", your metabolic problems increase. The loop of excess "double trap" decreases, but at the same time the loop of deficiency of vital components grows. How long will you be able to fight your own body to the detriment of your health?

Have you decided to compensate for the lack of vitamins and minerals with regular food?

To do this, you have to increase your food intake. But at the same time you get even more unnecessary substances than with a "normal" diet. The loop of disadvantages of the "double trap" decreases, but the loop of excess grows even more. Shortness of breath appears, overload for the heart and, as a result, many diseases.

THE QUALITATIVE COMPOSITION OF THE FOOD HAS CHANGED.

To cover the daily intake of a person in vitamins and minerals, you have to eat two or even three times more food than 50 years ago.

For example, to cover the daily intake of vitamin C, you need to eat 7.5 kg of apples. Is it possible?

"Human health does not depend on what he eats, but on what he does not eat," - American scientist Carl Rehnborg.

On the one hand, we understand that in order to be healthy, graceful, slim and beautiful, we need to eat less, on the other hand, the diet of a modern person is sorely lacking vitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, minerals, trace elements, dietary fiber, and therefore we need to eat more ... Needless to say - mutually exclusive recommendations!

So is there or not?

Humanity has resolved this issue. On the threshold of the third millennium, we learned how to live long and be healthy and beautiful at the same time.

Adding vitamins and antioxidants and other vital substances to your diet.

We again remember the catch phrase of Pythagoras: "Man is what he eats."

Nutrients and biologically active substances, deficient in human nutrition, have learned to isolate from various sources, to concentrate in tablets, capsules, powders, extracts, elixirs.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN TREATMENT.

Include specific nutritional supplements in your diet. They provide your body with the essential nutrients it needs to maintain your wellness. Your future depends on you. It can be healthy and happy only if you prepare for it in advance.

Imagine that you are over 90, and you are still an active and energetic person, and instead of going to the doctors, you live an interesting full-fledged life.

And remember, everything depends only on you, until the person himself wants to be healthy, no one will make him healthy.

Digestion has features similar to the functioning of the brain, because the brain (or consciousness) processes and digests the non-material impressions of this world (a person does not live on bread alone), and the stomach is material.

Digestion processes the material impressions of the world

Digestion is like breathing. Breathing, we absorb the environment, assimilate it and return what we did not use back. The same happens during digestion, although this process is more closely related to the material level of the body.

Breathing is controlled by the element Air, while digestion is governed by the inert element Earth. Therefore, unlike breathing, a strict rhythm does not arise here, the alternation of absorption and excretion of nutrients loses its clarity and sharpness.

Digestion has features similar to brain function, because brain(or consciousness) processes and digests the intangible impressions of this world(man does not live by bread alone), but stomach - material.

So, digestion covers:

    introduction of the external world into the body in the form of material impressions;

    the division of these impressions into "useful" and "not useful";

    assimilation of nutrients;

    elimination of "useless" substances.

Before getting a closer look at the problems that can arise with digestion, it is helpful to talk a little about the symbolism of nutrition. Much can be learned about a person by what food he prefers and what he doesn't eat.(tell me what you eat and I will tell you who you are!).

For "supposedly" random phenomena in the most familiar processes, you can reveal hidden relationships... A person who wants to eat something specific exhibits a very specific state. When something “doesn't suit him,” his antipathy can be interpreted in the same way as choosing one of the suggested options in psychological testing.

Hunger symbolizes desire to possess, he expresses a kind of greed. Food process- this is the satisfaction of our desire through receiving, acquiring and saturating.

If a person wakes up a love hunger that is not adequately satisfied, then it will manifest itself at the bodily level in the form of love for sweets and delicacies. Excessive love for sweets and delicacies is always an expression of an unmet need for love. The double meaning of the word "sweet" is clearly manifested in expressions such as "you are my sweet one."

The love of sweets in children is evidence that they feel a lack of parental love.... Parents, hearing this, immediately begin to object that "they do absolutely everything for their children." But “to love” and “to do everything for them” are not at all the same thing. If a person eats "something tasty" all the time, it means that he clearly lacks love and attention.... You should trust this rule much more than your own estimates.

When parents stuff their children with sweets, they symbolically make it clear that they do not want to give them their love and therefore try to compensate for its lack on a different level.

People who think a lot and are engaged in mental work need salty food and a solid diet.

Conservative people prefer smoked meats, they drink strong bitter tea(this is usually food containing tannins).

People who enjoy spicy food are looking for new stimuli and new experiences. They like to receive a challenge, even if it is difficult to adequately respond to it.

People of the opposite type prefer a sparing diet - no salt and spices. Such people take great care of themselves and try to do without new impressions. They are afraid of confrontation, do not like to “sort things out”. Fear can lead them to the need to eat porridge, as the stomach begins to hurt badly "on the basis of nerves." We will talk about this in more detail.

Porridge is baby food. Passion for cereals of adults clearly indicates the desire for childish infantilism, in which there is no need to distinguish or decompose phenomena into components. They don't even have to bite off and grind food (it looks so aggressive). Such people prefer to just swallow.Others have such a strong dislike for conflicts that one day they end up in intensive care, where they are fed intravenously - what is not a way to resolve conflicts at someone else's expense?

The fear of swallowing a fishbone symbolizes fear of someone else's aggressiveness. Fear of swallowing a bone is an unwillingness to have problems, because you do not want to penetrate the essence (core) of things.

But there is also an opposite group of people who are looking for problems for themselves. They need to get to the bottom of things at any cost, so they like solid food... The unwillingness to live without problems is literally striking.

If sweet is served for dessert, they definitely need something else to bite. By this they demonstrate their fear of love and tenderness, more precisely, the fear of the difficulties that love brings with it.
