The game allows the student to go beyond everyday life, gives the opportunity for the free manifestation of human activity in the conditions of game situations. , the opportunity for game participants to acquire communication skills, develops the ability to overcome difficulties.

The proposed game "Festival Hour" is held for students in grades 5-7. The game can be held in subject weeks in geography and biology, during the holiday “Day of Birds”

Objectives of the game: to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained in the lessons of geography, biology. Develop logical thinking , memory, intellectual abilities; expand the horizons of knowledge; develop a love for nature.

Rules of the game:

- 6 teams of 2 students participate in the game - a player and his assistant, a total of 12 students,
- 1 point is assigned for each correct answer,
- if a friend answers correctly, then 1 star is given,
- 5 seconds to think about the answer,
- after each round, the team with the lowest number of points is eliminated,
- if the teams have the same points, the number of stars scored is taken into account.
- 2 teams participate in the final game.
