Therefore, many corporations seek to find employees with the desire to work "for the idea" and this desire to be encouraged in every way in the process of work.

Despite the fact that modern corporations are the sealing of capitalist societies, they also contain many features of socialist formations. The "cult of leader" is created, the regulations of corporate values. The company's goal and the collective benefit are being built into the rank of higher interest of each employee. A ideological atmosphere is created, surrounded by which the employee works not for the benefit of his own prosperity, but for the benefit of the company, the team, society!

People are trying to inspire that, despite the fact that they, working in the company, earn money, here they are for the sake of something more than just mercantile interests. And in order to maintain in people such conviction in organizations resort to many different funds: trainings, performances of managers, propaganda, rewarding, assigning regalia and titles ("employee of the year"), brand exploitation, imposing patriotism across the corporation, etc. etc.

On what absurdity it comes to the use of these funds, depends on the particular company. In large Western corporations (Western - not in geographical terms, but regarding the business building model: Japanese, Korean firms can also be attributed to this model, like many domestic organizations) corporate patriotism cultivated stronger than in all other firms.

Is it bad? Not always. On the one hand, there is nothing wrong that the company is looking for loyal employees, that it is trying to create incentives for them to work, in addition to cash, thereby increasing their workforce interest.

On the other hand, patriotism, loyalty, corporate values \u200b\u200bcan serve as an excuse of exploitation of personnel for unfair employers. Many companies have no business to something other than their profits. They are not doing to your personal life and your personal interests, it is profitable for them to work as hard as possible and as much as possible. And the more you work and the less you ask, the more beneficial to your work for executives and shareholders of the company, but the less it is beneficial for you.

The work "for the idea" also gives rise to many unnecessary experiences and frustrations. For a person who works for money, the worst version of the development of events at work will be his dismissal. A person who works for the idea (or for the sake of satisfaction of his own ambitions) may be afraid that his efforts will not pay attention to the bosses that his colleagues will not admire his professionalism. An employee "For the idea" refers to his mistakes at work, as a personal tragedy, as to proof of his personal insolvency.

Employees for the idea come sick to work, stayed in the office of late, work on weekends, even if they do not pay. For the sake of work, they are willing to neglect their own health, their personal life and their family. Corporations are looking at such behavior as a virtue, although, in my opinion, it is only a form of painful obsession, operability and dependence.

Working for money, you have less emotional attachment to work.

Thanks to this, you become associated with your work less than the lap, for which the employer can pull in its own interests, and not in yours. And the less you are tied to it, the less you are experiencing frustrations and the more you have a place for thoughts about something else, except for work. As a result, you are easier to treat failures, you forget about work when you come home, the authority reprimand does not turn into a personal drama, and working intrigues pass by you.

Therefore, always remind yourself, why do you go to work. You are here to make money, provide your family. The worst thing that can happen here is what will be fired. For someone, dismissal is a critical event, for someone there is no, as you can always find a job. But, in any case, dismissal does not mean that anathema will betray you, they will make a traitor to the Motherland. This means just care from the current work and search for a new place and new features.

Work is only a means to achieve goals! This is not a goal, the victim of which you must put your family, your health and your happiness.

It means to work for money not only to abandon work mainly "for the idea." This means not to work for the sake of satisfying your passions and ambitions. If you work in order to command, put pressure on people, seem important to yourself, then any failure at work you will be perceived as a challenge the feeling of self-esteem and, as a result, you will take failures to heart.

Please do not think that I want to make you refuse you from love for your beloved case, replacing it with cold pragmatism. Love your work, but do not turn this love in a painful dependence! In everything you need to observe the measure.

And I found the job better than that I worked before. A new place did not meet my expectations, and in a month I found a place even better. There I still work until now (Note: I worked there at the time of writing the article. Currently I work for myself).

Maximum? Exactly. And who said you should ask for a salary from the employer, corresponding to the average salary in the market? Why not get a salary above average?

First, it is difficult to talk about the average salary, if you do not know what is happening in the labor market. (The only way for an ordinary employee to know about it is to go to the interview, as I wrote)

Secondly, the average salary is like the average temperature in the hospital. Why should you generally focus on this figure?

Go to the interviews, do not be afraid to ask for a big salary than the one you pay now and look at the reaction of the potential employer. Different companies pay differently. Somewhere on your requests laugh, but somewhere you will make an offer and will pay as much as you ask. Be prepared to everything, visit many different companies, see how things are there.

Otherwise, you will think that you cannot earn more than 50 thousand at your position, working in Moscow. Usually people do not speak their salary to anyone, because "so accepted." But this inslace rule sometimes works against us. We do not know how much our colleagues get, how much our friends earn, since no one informs such information to anyone.

As a result, it becomes more difficult for us to adequately assess the magnitude of our salary and therefore we will reprove with what they offer. And if you found out that your colleague on the office, which works as much as you work, get 80 thousand? Does then your 50 thousand still seem to you worthy of compensation?

(I really came across such situations once, when different employees were paid in different ways in one company! Personally, I try to inform my friends how much they pay for me if I am asked, and trying to get similar information from them to understand what the situation is now in the market and what position in this market. Do I need to change something to me? Is there another opportunity?

Rule 8 - Do not be afraid to lose work

Your organization is most likely not unique. If you live in a big city, especially in Moscow, then there are many places in which you can work even on the best conditions.
Look for, find out, explore, develop. And do not be afraid that if you are fired from this company, your life will end. You can find something else. Do not be afraid to lose this place.

There is nothing terrible in this. Especially dismissal is not only grief, it's a chance. Chance to find something better!

Therefore, do not let your bosses for you to blackmail and intimidate the dismissal. Moreover, the problems in connection with your dismissal will not only have, but from the organization in which you work, as the company will have to look for a new employee, teach it. So it is not known else who has more problems.

At its first workplace, I didn't cope with the work of the same inattention and excitement. I began to frighten the dismissal, so they probably wanted.

I still didn't like to work in this organization. Therefore, I said: "Okay, I will reflect myself." I was not seven spans in the forehead, I was an ordinary, non-historical, green graduate of the university. But even such a person the company tried to keep! As soon as I said that he would lead to himself, I began to discourage from this decision.

The company was not beneficial to search for another person, despite the fact that I worked for only a few months and did not know much. Perhaps they thought that I would not cope in virtue of my inexperience and that I need time to gather with the forces and perform work qualitatively. In this they were not mistaken, time passed and I eliminated my shortcomings. Now I do not know well with my main and with my second work (this site).

But I still left this company and settled to work for big money and on the best conditions.

Conclusion: dismissal not only loss for you, but also for the company. No one will dismiss you without having the most good for this reason.

If you want to quit on your own accord, but you are afraid that you will bring someone, betray, then drop these stupid doubts! No need to perceive the company as a ship in which each employee moves to a common goal with other employees. Do not think that if you leave this ship, you betray the overall idea.

In fact, the goal of the company is exclusively the goal of the owners of this company and shareholders. To achieve your goal on your "ship", they hire the rowers who pay for their work. If you want to transfer to another ship, where you pay more, why not do this? Do you make your colleagues rowers? No, because they will still pay, regardless of where the ship will be (if only it does not fall into the storm). Maybe after your care it will be heavier to row, but the captain will find you a replacement. Especially since each of your colleagues, as well as you have a choice to leave the ship.

Your goal and purpose of your colleagues on this ship is to row and make money for yourself and for your family.
The goal of the captain is some distant island. But, did she reach this island, the captain will share with you his treasures? No, because he pays you only for you to row!

Therefore, it is not necessary to identify its goal with the purpose of the corporation. You should not identify your colleagues to which you are attached, with the heads of the organization. There is a captain, and rowers are hired workers.

This understanding will help you to get better to your office and, as a result, less worry about work. After all, there are always other features! And at your current place of work, the clig is not reduced.

Rule 9 - Know the Labor Law

Knowledge of the law will help you defend your rights and treat work easier. After all, you have rights, it means there are both guarantees, which means less reasons for fears.

Rule 10 - house separate from work

After work, throw out all the thoughts about it from my head. Think about something else. Leave all your alarms about the unfulfilled plan, not sent report at your workplace. Work is not the main thing in life. For many of us, it's just a way to make money. All endless workers intrigues, conflicts, unfulfilled obligations are all nonsense, little things.

Many of us do not prefer the human destinies at work, but are just the links in a huge body working in the interests of shareholders and the owners of the corporation. Does your role in this system are so important for you?

All activity Corporation is the employment of some people, the dividends of other people, and access to certain benefits of third people. All corporations together form a market that carries the distribution function of goods and services in society.

Stop looping at your work. In life there are many things that need your attention and participate. Work is not all your life.

Some people are proud that they are so selflessly surrender to work, ready to throw everything in order to please the bosses, help the development of the company. They see the nobility, loyalty and certain genuity of heroism. I do not see anything in this, additionally from my problems, dependencies (workolism), egoism, weakness, operability before authorities, limited, lack of interests and hobbies.

Your family more needs you than your boss. Your health is more important than any money. Life is not designed for 12 hours to heroge out at work every day to retirement. If you will only give all your life to work, then what will you achieve in the end? Money? Recognition?

Why do you all need if you spent the years of your life? It will make you a hero in the eyes of your boss, but isn't it all you want?

The endless pursuit of money, for recognition, for the implementation of the plan, for authority and prestige is the pursuit of void! There will be nothing at the end, despite the fact that now you may seem like that this is the highest goal!

Work is only a means. Means for implementing your life goals. Work should be subordinate to these goals, and not vice versa. If you refer to work as to the medium, you will be much less upset due to failures. Your head will be much less scored by work. You can think about something else, except for work. And understand what you actually want, what is a genuine purpose of your life ...

As I already wrote, I used to worried very much because of work and worried a lot for the result. I was ready to delay late, ignoring the desire of my wife to be with me at least in the evening. I did that because I thought that "so necessary", that this is most important that the work is "everything".

But then my attitude to life in general and to work in particular began to change (I wrote about it in the article,). I realized that there are many things in life more important than work and work should be subordinate to my life, and not vice versa.

So some people are arranged that when they suddenly understand something important, come to some new conviction, they are given to this conviction with all the passion of the new discovery! Only after some time, they manage to find the balance between their discoveries and the requirements of the outside world.

Therefore, when I was tired of worrying because of the failures, when I realized that the work was not the main thing, I began to treat it with demonstrative indifference. When I was again started to blame colleagues in the fact that I was wrong, and because of me some client will not receive my product today, I, instead of grabping my head, blame myself and apologize (as I did before), calm He said: "So what? What is this? " And turned away to the monitor.

From extreme to extreme. It certainly was not entirely right on my part. But what happened, it was. My new reaction could also be understood.

You should not take an example from me in this case and dramatically review your line of behavior at work. Treat work easier, but do not show obvious indifference. If you are mistaken - calmly draw conclusions, try not mistaken in the future and openly recognize your mistakes. Just do not suffer about this, that's all.
