Working for doctors in Britain

Work for doctors in Britain. Medical practice

Most doctors in the UK work in the hospital system, family health center or government medicine. Some find work at universities, teaching students or doing scientific research. There is close cooperation between universities and hospitals.
Medical training in the UK is designed to meet the needs of the NHS and may differ in duration and structure from similar systems in other countries. This structure is currently undergoing significant changes.

Special training

Special training is divided into two parts - general professional and basic special. During their training, doctors work in the NHS system. Upon receipt of such registration, doctors become SHOs (see Glossary). This title is usually given - for two or three years, and is one of the levels of general vocational training. At this time, preparations are underway for exams to various royal colleges according to specialization. This is the usual condition for moving to a higher level, which is called specialist registrar (SpR) grade. Preparation programs for this level differ depending on the specialty, and preparation can take from 4 to 6 years.
During specialized training, all doctors are invited to scientific programs to understand the methodology of scientific research. Many receive diplomas or degrees, but this is not a prerequisite for obtaining a higher position. It is up to the college concerned to decide whether time spent on research is defended against specialized training.

Consultants

Not an educational and the highest post in the hospital gradation. Counselors are fully responsible for their patients and for training and educational custody of doctors in lower positions in their teams. By law, everyone entering such a post must be registered in a special register of the Medical Council (GMC).

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Permanent prof. preparation is a process of continuous professional development to maintain professional knowledge in accordance with the latest scientific achievements.

Where to begin?

registration
Before you can work in a UK clinic or write prescriptions, you must obtain a medical registration. The registration process is different for foreign specialists.

There are four different types of registration:

Conditional
Limited
Full
Special

Conditional registration is given to doctors educated in the UK to work one year after graduation before receiving full registration.
Limited registration entitles foreign doctors to work in the NHS system at educational posts (PRHO, SHO, GP registrar (England only), specialist registrar). The limited registration will be canceled shortly, after which doctors from abroad will immediately receive either full or conditional registration.
Full registration entitles you to work in any position in the NHS without the supervision of a superior colleague. Full registration is required for doctors wishing to work as family doctors.
Special registration allows doctors to work without superior supervision in both the public and private sectors.

Medical license for the right to practice medicine

The Medical Council is changing the registration system for doctors. Currently, every doctor who is eligible to practice in the UK is registered with the medical register. This system is undergoing revision, each doctor included in such a register will receive a medical license.
The license will be general in nature, without specifying specialization. Also, it will not have any restrictions or conditions. Any restrictions or conditions will be entered in the register, which is currently the case.

Registration for doctors from countries outside the European Union

Doctors whose qualifications are listed on the World Health Organization WHO's recognized medical schools are eligible for registration with the Medical Council. To do this, it is necessary to demonstrate objective evidence that the doctor has the necessary knowledge and skills to work in the UK healthcare system. The doctor must have an appropriate primary qualification as well as medical experience or completed internship for at least 12 months. Also, the successful passing of two tests is usually required: the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB). First, doctors receive a limited registration for 12-18 months, which is then renewed. Limited registrations can be renewed for 5 years. However, it is possible to apply for full registration during this time. For this, a prerequisite is at least 12 months of work as a SHO or registrar.

Alternative Way to Obtain Medical Registration

Obtaining registration without passing a medical exam is possible in one of the four options below:

1) for doctors who have received the opportunity of post-qualification training at one of the royal medical colleges.
2) for doctors who pass a basic exam in a specialty with a score that satisfies the relevant medical school in the specialty (for example, parts 1 and 2 of the MRCP exam).
3)
for doctors who have received the post of specialist registrar.

4) for doctors applying for specialized registration on the recommendation of the relevant committee for specialized training based on qualifications obtained abroad.

The specifics of the work of foreign doctors includes frequent practices and specializations in various clinics around the world. Every doctor knows that the same manipulation is carried out in different ways, not only in different states, but also in neighboring clinics. A different approach to the diagnosis and interpretation of analyzes, the appointment of treatment and patient management necessitates a constant exchange of knowledge and experience.
Nowadays, it is impossible to become a world-class doctor without knowledge of European and British medicine in particular. No matter what specialty you work in, 2-4 weeks of internship at an English hospital will help you not only learn new treatment methods, get to know your colleagues, but also integrate into the global healthcare system.

Internship in Britain- this is a big step forward on the career ladder, new patients and their gratitude, knowledge that you can pass on to your colleagues, and no matter what level of English you have, for a doctor will always understand a doctor (Latin unites us all). British clinics are waiting for you for a practice called "Attachment doctor".
The second offer of British clinics: you can come to work as a doctor and receive a salary.
Helpful Hint: In order to work as a doctor in Britain, foreign doctors are required to obtain a license. We advise you not to trust companies that offer to find you a job in the UK without first obtaining a license.
To obtain a license, it is very important to submit documents correctly and pass the initial registration. It is at this stage that it is decided whether you should take the exam and what level you will be awarded. Our organization helps in this process.

After that, two options are possible:

1. Your experience was recognized and given a work permit (salary from £ 48,000 per year). In this case, you just have to take the IELTS test (see our special section).
2. You have been assigned an exam. In this case, you take IELTS and PLAB (see our special section on tests, where we provide special preparatory material for preparation).

We are ready to help you at any stage and answer all your questions. WE WISH YOU SUCCESS!

United Kingdom. Start

Great Britain continues to be one of the countries of Western Europe, attractive for CIS doctors as a destination for emigration. The UK includes England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Great Britain is a country with a fairly high standard of living. The average life expectancy of the population is about 77 years.

More recently, "Russian" doctors had a great opportunity, being, for example, in Russia, to pass all the necessary exams, and then emigrate to Great Britain and get a job there in their specialty. Today the situation has changed somewhat, and in order to obtain registration in England or Ireland (and, consequently, the work of a doctor), you must be a citizen of the European Union.

Despite the changes described above, today there is still one "loophole" for CIS doctors to obtain a certificate for registration in England or Ireland. This "loophole" is the European Diploma in Anesthesiology.

Availability European Diploma in Anesthesiology(issued no later than 3 years ago), and IELTS certificate, confirming knowledge of English, is reason for obtaining registration in the UK.

European Diploma in Anesthesiology

The European Diploma in Anesthesiology is becoming more and more available for anesthesiologists in their CIS countries. So, it is possible to pass the first part of the exam in Moscow or St. Petersburg. To pass the second part of the European Diploma exam, you will need to travel to the nearest European certified center.

For the European Diploma in Anesthesiology you will need: some money to pay for exams; a document confirming your experience in anesthesiology; and, of course, a good knowledge of anesthesiology, which is quite realistic to obtain with the free access to all the literature necessary for passing the certification exam on the Internet today.

IELTS certificate

The IELTS certificate is an international certificate that confirms your knowledge of the English language.

To obtain an IELTS certificate you need to go to the British Council, order an exam and, of course, pass it successfully. The exam can be taken in the CIS countries, for example, it is taken in cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk. The exam fee is around 125 euros.

The exam consists of four modules, the solution of each of which is limited by a certain time. The first module - reading - offers three texts of varying complexity, it is necessary to answer questions about each of the texts. The second module - listening - for an hour you listen to the text and at the same time answer the questions asked on paper. The third module is composition. The fourth module is an interview. For each module, an assessment is given - from 1 to 9 points. Then the average score is calculated. For successful delivery, you must have an average score of at least 7, and also have at least 6.5 points in each of the modules.

The exam can be taken no more than once every three months. It is believed that with intensive study of the English language over a three-month period of time, the level of one's knowledge can be increased by no more than one point (average).

Certificate for registration in England or Ireland

So, everything that a doctor from the CIS needs to obtain a certificate for registration in England or Ireland- a European Diploma in Anesthesiology, one, and an international IELTS certificate in English, two.

Next, you need to register on the General Medical Counil website (medical council; in fact, this is the personnel department of the Ministry of Health), fill out an application form for a registration certificate, send copies of your documents (European diploma of anesthesiologist, IELTS certificate).

After everything is done, you will be made an appointment for which you will need to travel to the UK. After presenting an invitation for an interview at the embassy, you will be issued a visa for 6 months. The main purpose of your visit to the UK is to go through the process of verifying your identity, for which you will need to appear at the medical council and provide the originals of all your documents. If all the documentation is in order, you will be issued a registration certificate. After that, you will need to find a job, for which you can contact a special employment agency or apply personally directly to some hospital, offering your vacancy.

England or Ireland?

Today, the UK countries are in dire need of health workers. Ireland is experiencing a particularly great need for doctors, since many doctors leave the country, move to England, where life is cheaper and wages are higher.

If you are faced with a question of choice - Where is it better to emigrate to a doctor: to England or Ireland? - then it is best to opt for the first option. There are currently no career opportunities for our doctors in Ireland. In England, on the other hand, there is much more chance of getting both a better job and a job that offers the opportunity to rise up the career ladder. In addition, living in England is easier and cheaper. England is a borderless society. It doesn't matter who you are: black or white, Russian or American. Therefore, living in England, you will not feel like a stranger there.

Standard of living. Income and expenses

If you do not make special efforts in terms of further career growth, but simply go to work, receive a salary and live in peace, then the approximate salary of an anesthesiologist is no more than 4000-5000 pounds per month. This is a permanent job (in the same hospital), which does not imply career growth and takes 40 hours a week (staff-grate). If suddenly you want to earn more, then for this it will be possible to contact a special employment agency and take a "part-time job", while your wages will increase by about 2 times.

In Manchester, for example, you will have to pay about £ 700 a month to rent a three-room apartment (+ £ 150 will be the payment of all bills). Food will cost £ 200-300 a month. There will also be additional costs for which you will need about £ 1000 per month (insurance, travel, gas, parking, etc.). So your monthly compulsory costs would be around £ 2,000. The remaining £ 2000-3000 will be enough to maintain comfortable financial stability.

Food prices in England and Ireland are about the same as in our country. And the clothes are cheaper.

Cars in England are quite cheap, so a new mid-range car can be bought for 15,000 pounds.

In general, if you say at the bank that you work as a doctor, then you get the opportunity to take any loan you need. This fact is further confirmation that doctors in the UK are doing well.

Conclusion

In fact, the above emigration scheme to England is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. All of the above are just small obstacles on your way, which are quite surmountable with a diligent and persistent approach to the business you have begun. If you are full of energy and have a strong desire to get a permanent job as a doctor in England, then to overcome all the stages (obtaining a European Diploma in Anesthesiology, an international IELTS certificate in English, a certificate for registration in England) you will need only about 2 years of hard work.

Every year the number of students choosing medical education in England and continues to increase: this is also true for Russian students and other foreigners. Indeed, the prestigious diploma of higher medical education in England opens up tremendous opportunities for successful international employment, continuing education and research activities, for a stable and high income.

Education in England: teaching medicine in the UK for international students

The British system of medicine has been tracing its history for many centuries: according to the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), the country ranks 15th among European countries in terms of the level of medical care and 18th worldwide for the same parameter. The United Kingdom is in the TOP-10 world leaders in terms of the development of medicine, the use of the latest innovative technologies, the pace of development and research; on the territory of Britain there are world-famous universities and faculties of specialized areas (and many others). Medical education in England is prestigious and in demand.

Such a high demand and prestige of medical universities leads to the highest competition among applicants: according to statistics, only about 8% of students are foreigners.

They are also chosen for the reason that a medical degree allows you to receive a fairly high salary. Yes, the price of education in England is quite big, but the costs will pay off soon after graduation: according to statistics, an ordinary district therapist receives about 44,000 euros per year, and given the higher cost of services in private clinics, earnings may be even higher.

Higher education in the UK: the structure of higher medical education in England, features

The duration of medical education in England is approximately 7-8 years: a wide range of basic disciplines and areas are studied under the bachelor's program, from which the main and priority ones are selected in the internship (Foundation), during which active practice and internship begin. The first professional degrees that students who choose medical education in England and the UK receive are the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (similar and equivalent). Having received a bachelor's degree, a student can continue their studies in the chosen or related specialty by going on an internship.

Internship (Foundation), in turn, is divided into two years - F1 and F2; the completion of the training is marked by the receipt of an MB diploma (the ChB diploma is intended for specialists in the “Surgery” direction). The Foundation Doctor degree is compulsory for all qualified medical practitioners in the UK, replacing the Pre-registration house officer and Senior house officer in 2005. The passed level also learns to work in a team, acquire time management and IT skills.

  • F1 - 3-4 different specialties are studied; The General Medical Council determines the mandatory set of knowledge that the student must possess after each trimester.
  • F2 - focuses on the diagnosis and prevention of acute diseases; also mastered teamwork and personnel management, the necessary IT skills, the ability to allocate time and rank tasks.

In the United States, an intern is a specialist who has received medical education, but does not yet have a license to practice independently; in Britain there is a similar term Foundation House Officer. Interns practice only under the guidance of a licensed physician in an accredited clinic or hospital

The profile can be obtained by taking the GEP express courses (4 years instead of 5-6), but only applicants who graduated from the biological and medical faculties can enter the accelerated training. There are exceptions to this rule, but you need to learn about them at each university separately - for example, Cambridge accepts even holders of humanitarian diplomas at the GEP.

A special General Medical Council - GMC - is responsible for the certification of specialists and has been working for many years, periodically issuing professional collections of recommendations that must be followed by students, graduates and applicants.

The most prestigious and ranked universities in medicine in England

Great Britain can be proud of a whole galaxy of world-famous scientists and doctors who were educated in England in one of 30 specialized medical schools or one of 10 universities. Among the most demanded, prestigious and rating educational institutions, the following can be noted:

  • King's College School of Medicine
  • University of Wales

How to apply to medical school in England?

Unlike most other universities and high schools, the requirements for applicants are not limited to a certificate with good grades and the results of a language test for proficiency in English. You will need a certificate of the A-level program (the course should have studied specialized disciplines - for example, chemistry or biology), a language test certificate confirming an advanced level of English, and the obligatory passing of the BMAT exam (introductory testing in biochemical sciences).

Please note that most specialized universities provide a very small quota for Russian students and foreigners from non-EU countries, which further complicates the competition for each place as already mentioned, medical education in England is very much in demand among the country's citizens.

Pre-university training programs in medicine

  • Foundation or (1 academic year). This course, upon successful completion, gives the opportunity to enter the chosen faculty without exams, which is very convenient for foreigners. This program is provided by large educational centers (such as INTO and Study Group). For example, INTO is jointly organizing a six-year training program in one of the best specialized schools: 4 years of study and two years of practice and internship in US clinics. Upon completion of the course, the student receives the right to work in his specialty in America, and if he passes the GMC certification, in the UK.

Education system in England

Speaking about medical education in England, it is impossible not to highlight the educational system of Britain as a whole: the gradual, gradual development of the national educational standard will help to succeed even in such a complex area as medicine. The educational system of Great Britain is deservedly considered one of the best in the world, and it is from the United Kingdom that many countries of the world take an example. In many ways, national standards are regulated by the Law on Education, adopted back in 1944, which regulates the entire educational system as a whole.

Education in the UK is compulsory for all citizens from 5 to 16 years old. Up to 5 years old, parents can send their child to a nursery or kindergarten (3-4 years old), where kids, in fun and not boring classes, will learn to count, read and write. After 16 years, a student can obtain a professional qualification (GNVQ), start a career, or go to Sixth Form programs and prepare for higher education at the university. In general, the entire educational system is divided into 4 levels:

  • primary education (Elementary School) - 5-11 years
  • secondary education (Secondary School) - 11-16 years old
  • post-secondary education (Further Education) -16-18 years
  • higher education.

You can choose a public free school or a private school (the latter mainly work as boarding schools, providing students with accommodation on campus for the duration of their studies). There are schools that offer a full educational cycle (from 3-5 to 18 years old), you can move from junior to middle or high school by changing educational institutions: for example, in Britain there are many high schools and colleges specializing in the preparation of students aged 15-18 to enrollment in universities. You can also choose a school of separate education (separately for boys or separately for girls) or a coeducational institution - as a rule, the former are distinguished by stricter discipline and loyalty to traditions.

Secondary education in the UK, education system

Secondary education of children in England usually begins at the age of 5 with preparatory preschool classes - at the age of 6-7 they are already waiting for primary classes in public and private schools, and at 11 years old students move to the middle classes, where they study until 15-16 years old.

  • Primary classes usually include training according to an already given, standard program with a specific set of subjects: English, mathematics, science, history, music, physical education and sports, art.
  • In the middle grades, the depth of study gradually increases from year to year, the child has the opportunity to choose some of the subjects on his own - the “core” of disciplines required for attending is determined, and the rest can be chosen as electives according to his taste and interests.
  • Senior classes (Sixth Form) - this is a full-fledged directed preparation for admission to the university. It can be an A-level, IB, Cambridge Pre-U, Foundation (one-year) course - the choice depends on the future country and the university chosen for higher education.

A-level provides for a deep, thorough study of 3-5 selected disciplines for 2 academic years and the subsequent passing of the exam, which are also counted as entrance to the chosen university. Foreign students often choose a one-year Foundation: in addition to studying basic academic subjects, it is distinguished by an intensive language course, which will help to significantly improve the level of English in just a year. But please note: the top, most elite and selective universities do not accept the Foundation as academically full-fledged and require a certificate of at least A-level or IB.

At the age of 16, a student can go on to receive professional education (Further education): this is vocational training or preparation for a bachelor's degree. This qualification can be obtained from colleges, institutes and special schools.

The academic year in the UK lasts 38 weeks and is divided into thirds - terms:

  • Autumn (Michaelmas) - from September to December
  • Spring (Lent ) - from January to March
  • Summer (Summer ) - from April to early June.

Each school can set the exact dates for each trimester independently. Do not forget about the holidays: short weekly intervals in the middle of each trimester and long Christmas, Easter (2-3 weeks) and summer (6 weeks) holidays.

Pupils study on weekdays - from Monday to Friday: usually these are lessons from 9:00 to 15:00 (lunch and dinner breaks are provided). Saturday is a traditional day for field trips, major events, sports and matches, creative studios and electives. Sunday is usually reserved for rest.

Higher education in England and throughout the UK

Higher education in the UK can be provided by universities, institutes, high schools and polytechnic colleges - more than 700 institutions in total. You can get bachelor's and master's degrees (including MBA), take short-term programs (diploma and advanced training), doctoral degree. Universities are divided into two large groups:

  • Unitary: includes departments and faculties
  • Collegiate (including Oxford and Cambridge): Consists of several colleges, sometimes even several dozen.

Education in higher educational institutions begins in October and lasts until June, each trimester (one third of the academic year) for 8-10 weeks. There are large summer vacations - usually from June 1st to September 30th.

A bachelor's degree can be obtained in 3-4 years (in the field of medicine and architecture - up to 6 years), a master's degree - after studying an additional year and creating a personal research work. Doctorates are awarded for voluminous outstanding work, invaluable contributions to science, practical inventions, or important scientific research.

The main forms of work at universities are seminars and lectures, laboratory work, tutorials in mini-groups of 2-10 people, master classes: in general, there is much more practical work in English universities than in Russian ones.

All higher education in the country is paid, and for foreigners the fee is usually higher. British nationals have the opportunity to study on credit, and the government has the right to collect the debt only if the graduate gets a job with a salary of at least £ 21,000 per year.

Medical education is one of the most demanded in Europe and the USA. Many doctors from the Commonwealth countries dream of going to work, training or internship in the UK, is it possible? Of course yes!

The process of recognizing your qualifications and obtaining a license is rather laborious and time-consuming.

There are several types of licenses in the UK:

  • Provisional registration- conditional (temporary) registration, entitles those who have received higher medical education to work for one year after graduation before receiving full medical registration (Foundation Year 1 posts).
  • Full registration- full medical registration gives the right to work independently at any post in the NHS. Necessary for those wishing to work as a family doctor.
  • Specialist registration- medical registration of a specialist allows a doctor to work independently both in a public and private clinic.

If you have not completed an internship, then first you will receive a temporary registration, for 12 months of internship, and then you can apply for a full registration.
In order to apply, you must prove that your knowledge and skills allow you to work as a doctor in the UK. To do this, you need to take the PLAMB (Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board) test.

Only those who already have a medical diploma issued by one of the higher educational institutions are allowed to take the test, while the educational institution must be listed in the Avicenna Directory database.

If you are a graduate of one of the following educational institutions, you must contact the General Medical Council by email before taking the test. [email protected] and to clarify whether you are eligible to take the test:

  • Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy
  • St Petersburg State Medical Academy
  • St Petersburg State I.P Pavlov Medical University
  • St Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy
  • Lugansk State Medical University

One of the main requirements for confirming a medical degree in England is fluency in English. Before taking the PLAB test, you must provide an IELTS certificate with a score of at least 7.0, and you must receive at least 7 points in all sections of the test.

Father-in-law PLAB consists of 2 parts:

Part 1. It is rented on a computer and consists of 200 questions / tasks for which 3 hours are allotted. You can take this test any number of times, the main thing is that your IELTS certificate is valid at the time of its delivery.

Part 2. Called Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) or objectively structured clinical examination, it consists of 12 parts (stations) for each part, 5 minutes are allotted. Read more about the exam on the General Medicine Council website at http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/plab/advice_part2.asp#Content. The test can only be taken in the UK.

You will have only 4 attempts to pass this exam within 3 years after passing the first part. If you do not take it, you will have to retake IELTS and the PLAB Part 1 test.

Within 3 years after passing the second part of the test, you must obtain a license or take the test again.

As a result, you will get the following procedure:

1.take IELTS at 7.0

2.translate with a certified translator and notarize the diploma (affix apostille), as well as documents confirming the internship

3.take the PLAB 1 test

4.take the PLAB 2 test (in the UK)

5. get registration. If you did not pass the internship, or did it, but for some reason the documents you provided did not satisfy them, you will receive Provisional registration, or Full registration - if you have passed the internship and provided the relevant documents.

People who have a medical degree will never be left without work abroad. It is clear that in order to get a good job, have your own practice or work in a public / private hospital in a particular country of the world, you will have to go through not only the nostrification procedure, but also learn the language, pass special exams, and confirm your qualifications.

But all these efforts pay off very quickly, since it is prestigious and profitable to work as a doctor abroad. There are always vacancies, you just have to set a goal and look. First of all, it is worth deciding why you need it. This will require answering questions such as:

  1. It is a job to earn decent money over a period of time;
  2. Work as a doctor can become permanent and provoke emigration to the chosen country;
  3. Acquisition of practical skills and exchange of experience;
  4. Work in hot spots, etc.

Then it is necessary to draw up a list of knowledge and skills, write a resume, ask colleagues for recommendations, assess knowledge of a foreign language, translate diplomas and certificates into English or another language. If the problem is in knowledge of the language, then it is worth enrolling in courses in a year and a half, where you can quickly and efficiently improve your vocabulary and speaking skills.
You can consult with friends or read special forums on how to properly look for a job as a doctor abroad.

Vacancies in this profession are searched for using familiar and traditional methods - using the services of various companies, contacting the employer directly, posting a resume on special sites, traveling at the invitation of a friend or a specific company / hospital.

Should you trust intermediaries

If you use the services of firms that are looking for work for doctors abroad, then you need to be very careful, attentive, and check everything thoroughly.
You need to entrust your documents, pay money to those companies that have positive reviews in this area, experience in the selection of medical personnel, communication with potential employers, etc. It is worth abandoning the services of intermediary firms if they ask for an advance payment for the provision of services.

The resume should be drawn up according to the requirements of the country where the specialist dreams of going. For EU countries, for example, there is a single CV template called EUpass. There are filling rules on the Internet, where you can see filling samples.

For Asian and American countries, the conditions for compiling a resume should be found out in each medical institution. It is important to attach two or three letters of recommendation from specialists in a particular field of medicine to your CV.

Where do doctors look for work abroad?

Despite the fact that doctors are in demand everywhere and always, it is worth knowing the countries where work for doctors abroad will be 100% guaranteed. But before leaving, you must study the requirements for each country separately.

Everywhere a confirmation of the diploma is required, but in some states this is done quickly, while in others the process can be lengthy.

If you have to wait, then you should get a job in a related position, and then move on to another vacancy.
Quite often, doctors simply have to retrain, which can take several years. Russian doctors are always welcome in countries such as:

  • Finland, which is considered prestigious for doctors, but foreigners will have to make a lot of effort to get the desired job;
  • Many doctors from Russia and post-Soviet countries go to where they pay well and have a chance to improve their practical skills and gain professional experience. Although here working conditions are far from ideal, and are very different from European and American;
  • The countries of Europe, Canada, the United States of America are chosen by those who want to gain professional experience, knowledge in a narrower field, improve the spoken language, meet colleagues from other countries, attend conferences and seminars;
  • Most are specialists.

    Vacancies and salary levels

Jobs can be found in areas such as medicine - a variety of areas, pharmaceuticals, dentistry, nursing staff, nurses, ambulance, resuscitation. In the announcements, the salary level may not be indicated, usually it is negotiated based on the results of the interview. In 2019, there are the following vacancies for doctors:

In terms of wages, American doctors receive the highest rates. The lowest paid medical specialty in the United States is the family doctor. His monthly income is $ 14,500. If we talk about the countries of the European Union, then the picture is as follows:

    Around 586 ($ 800).
