School enrollment benefits

School enrollment benefits depend on the status of the parents whose children are planning to receive an education in the near future.

It is customary to refer to the main benefits that apply to all beneficiaries of extraordinary enrollment and the opportunity to enter not at a previously assigned place.

For children of the military

School enrollment benefits in 2019 for children of military personnel provide for priority admission.

  • the procedure for enrolling in an educational institution at the place of residence;
  • rules for the admission of children of those parents who died while serving in the ranks of the RF Armed Forces, received a disability, quit due to reaching the age limit, or died within the first year after being laid off.

Regions have the right to make their own adjustments. For example, on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the children of military personnel belong to the second priority upon admission.

War veterans

Education on preferential terms is completely identical as for military personnel. If parents are endowed with status, then their children can count on extraordinary admission, provided that there are free places in the educational institution.

Some educational institutions provide for the possibility of additional provision of free meals and school uniforms, but this should be fixed at the regional level.

Police officers

Benefits are provided in accordance with. Children of such citizens have the right to enter an educational institution out of turn at their place of residence.

You can get a refusal only if there are no free places.

Single mother

Children are not eligible for extraordinary enrollment.

In case of admission to an educational institution, a child can only count on free meals.

The exception is regional programs, which may provide preferential enrollment.

Disabled child

He can count on extraordinary admission, but subject to the availability of free places in an educational institution.

Additionally, you can get a refusal to enroll (even on a general basis) in the absence of specialized equipment for their education.

The administration makes a decision on the possible enrollment in strict accordance with the recommendations of the attending physician. Disability can be established for various reasons.

For example, for the visually impaired group 2, it is necessary to use special means (not only the use of special glasses and contact lenses), but if we are talking about problems with limbs, it is impossible to do without additional service.
Families with many children

For large families, no privileges are provided by federal law. At the same time, they can be approved by educational institutions independently or by the regional executive power.

Enrollment procedure

The procedure for enrolling a child in an educational institution is simple and consists in the following:

Dear Parents!
Here you can find out about the main aspects of getting a school enrollment service. We tried to collect answers to the most pressing questions that parents have.

The Portal provides two services for enrolling children in schools:

  • enrollment in grade 1 of the 2019/2020 academic year: for primary enrollment a child in the 1st grade for the next academic year;
  • enrollment in grades 1-11 of the 2019/2020 academic year: for translation a child to another educational organization (applications for enrollment in grades 2-11 from September 1, 2019/2020 of the academic year are recommended to be submitted from June 1, 2019).

When can I apply?

Submission of applications for enrollment of children in the first grades for the 2019/2020 academic year (the beginning of training from 01.09.2019), as in the previous year, will be carried out in three stages:

  1. 15.12.2018 - 05.09.2019 : Application by citizens whose children have priority in admission to school. note, in the period from 12/15/2018 to 01/20/2019, the application should indicate only those schools, in respect of which there is a preemptive right of enrollment. The rest of the schools listed in the application will be refused;
  2. 20.01.2019 - 30.06.2019 : submission of applications by citizens whose children live in the assigned territory. At this stage, the application should indicate only those schools, which are located in the assigned territory. The rest of the schools listed in the application will be refused. In case of application after 30.06.2019 enrollment is made on a general basis;
  3. 01.07.2019 - 05.09.2019 : submission of applications by citizens whose children do not live in the assigned territory.

Please note that the main criterion for enrollment children in first grade is the proximity of school to home... Date and time of application submission within your stage do not affect to make a decision on enrollment. If you mistakenly sent an application before the start of your stage (for example, you clicked on the "Send" button before 07/01/2019 - within the 2nd stage, but your child does not live in the assigned territory), then such an application will be refused. ... In this situation you must re-fill the application and send it within its stage. Please pay attention.

What are the benefits? How does the federal benefit differ from the regional one?

Since 2012, admission to the first grade of Russian schools has been taking place under the new rules. According to these rules, children who are “attached” to the school, that is, children from nearby houses, have the primary right to enter school. Acceptance of applications to schools under the new rules takes place from March 1 to September 5.

Rules for admitting children to school

Under the new rules, children are "attached" to schools in their place of residence. The exceptions are specialized schools, schools with advanced study of some subjects and schools for gifted children.

The territorial education authorities will decide which houses belong to which school. Parents will have to provide, in addition to the standard set of documents, a certificate of registration of the child at the place of residence of the parents.

The school can refuse "attached" children only if there are no places there. Then the territorial education authorities must find a replacement.

But everyone knows that there are “good” schools, and there are not very good ones. And in order to get into such a "good" school, parents are ready to take their child across the whole city. As a rule, there are no problems to go to school in your own yard. Now how to enter a school that you want to go to, but it is not in the place where the child is “attached”?

If there are vacant places in the school after all the "attached" children have been recruited, then any children who have submitted an application can be admitted to these places. Admission to vacancies will take place from August 1 to September 5.

Children are admitted to all schools without admission tests, except for specialized schools, specialized schools, schools with in-depth study of any subject, or sports and creative schools.

Do children from large families have benefits when enrolling in grade 1

Are there any benefits for children from large families when they enroll in grade 1? Yes there is. First of all, children with benefits will be taken to vacant places: children of dead servicemen, children from large families, children with disabilities. In specialized schools, specialized, sports and art rules for admission to the first grade did not change.
