Loco-Bank CJSC began its financial activities back in 1994, it was founded by a group of businessmen, and its main goal was to service trade, industrial enterprises and provide private banking services to wealthy clients. But ten years later, the strategic direction of Loko-Bank's activity was changed to lending to medium and small businesses. And only in 2005-2007 Loko-Bank was transformed into a closed joint stock company and began to develop a retail line of products.

Today Loko-Bank is a universal Russian commercial bank developing with the participation of foreign capital. For several years now, the bank has been one of the hundred largest financial institutions in Russia. Every year, the indicators of profitability, asset growth, refinancing and capitalization risks are steadily improving, which demonstrates the bank's active work in the Russian market. The Bank's reliability has been confirmed at the international level by the largest agencies Moody's Investors Service (B1) and Fitch Ratings (B +), as well as the Russian rating agency ACRA (BBB +). Since 2004, the bank has been a member of the deposit insurance system, and since 2014 - an agent bank of the Deposit Insurance Agency for payments of insurance claims to depositors of other banks, which provides customers with an additional guarantee of the safety of private deposits.

In 2015-2016, Loko-Bank became a finalist of the DIA tenders for compensation payments to depositors of troubled banks three times.

  • Net interest income in 2018 showed growth by 11,5% compared to the previous year and reached the indicator 5,5 billion rubles.
  • Net fee and commission income in 2018 grew to 3,5 68,9% comparing with the previous year.
  • Net interest margin remains at a consistently high level and is 6,8% for 2018.
  • Operating income in 2018 increased by 6,8% compared to last year and amounted to 8,5 billion rubles.
  • Share of net fee and commission income in the structure of operating income rose to 41,1% against 26,0% for 2017.
  • Retail loan portfolio less allowance for impairment losses at the end of 2018 amounted to 45,9 billion rubles, having increased by 39,9% .

    • Gross loan portfolio, net of estimated allowance for expected credit losses in 2018 grew by 13,3% and made 54,1 billion rubles.
    • Funds in customer accounts in 2018 increased by 8,0% and made 65,6 billion rubles.

    • Operating efficiency indicator (CTI) according to the results of 2018 amounted to 58,6% and grew by 8 p.p. compared to the same period last year.
    • Basel capital adequacy ratio made up 22,7% at the end of 2018 and increased by 2 p.p. compared to the end of 2017.

In 1994, a group of entrepreneurs who own trade and industrial enterprises decided to create a commercial bank "Loko-Bank", the main task of which was to serve the financial flows of partners of participating organizations, as well as their own. 1998-1999 the bank survived the crisis with minimal losses. During the same period, its owners decided to create a universal financial institution.

In 2002, the total number of corporate clients of CB Loko-Bank exceeded one and a half thousand. At the same time, the “Private banking” system was developing.

Since 2003, the bank begins its work related to lending to small and medium-sized businesses, which later became the main activity of CB Loko-Bank.

At the same time, the bank began to cooperate with international financial institutions, as well as with foreign banks.
