The team of the Pavlovsk Gymnasium reached the finals of the intellectual Olympiad "Our Heritage"

17.12.14

The team of the Pavlovsk Gymnasium "made its way" through the sieve of tours and reached the finals of the Open All-Russian Intellectual Olympiad "Our Heritage". The final will be held March 7-10, 2015 in Moscow.

The theme of the Olympiad this year is dedicated to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Competed for reaching the finalthirty two schoolsfrom different regions of Russia. The semi-finals consisted of two rounds: individual and team rounds. Of the twenty-two schools that came out, for the second round, there should have beenonly the eight strongest. Our team got into this coveted eight, takingfirst placebased on the results of all personal points added together. Aranking of the best 90 participants topped ourYaroslav Kharitonov, 10th grade student.

Then we had a team tour, but only among these eight semi-finalist schools. The eight of the strongest were: "First School" from Moscow, three schools from St. Petersburg. The cities of Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk and Smolensk were each represented by one school. From the Moscow region we were the only ones.

Only reached the finalfour schools. In a stubborn struggle, the Gymnasium team tookfirst place and advanced to the final!

Command structure: Kharitonov Yaroslav, Monakova Anastasia, Kovalev Artem, Lukin Vitaly, Torbakhov Daniil, Shelkovnikov Vyacheslav and Babkin Egor.

The team of the Pavlovsk Gymnasium entered the All-Russian level for the first time!

Congratulations to the guys and their leader Galina Nikolaevna Edomina with excellent results! We wish them great success!

Almost all participants of the final tournament of grades 8–11 have been determined on December 17, 2014.

35 teams are expected to participate in the final. The final will be held in Moscow from 6 to 10 March. Attached is the schedule for December 17 (of course, slight changes are possible in it).

Important note. OVIO "Our Heritage" is not included in the list of Olympiads of the RSOS for the 2014/15 academic year and will not give any benefits to graduates. We are really very sorry for our 11th graders, many of whom have earned these small benefits with their annual participation in the finals. But we are sure that none of them will have any problems with admission. And it may even be good that only those who are interested in the Olympiad itself and the theme of the current academic year will come to the Olympiad from the senior classes.

But there is also good news - for non-resident participants of the Olympiad, we will most likely be able to pay for accommodation and partial meals during the final (accompanying - at the expense of the sending side and support from the parents of the team members).

Below we publish a list of those who can take part in the final. What you need to do to become a member of the final round:

1. Until January 20, personally register on the site (registration will open in the coming days).

2. Complete compulsory homework. Write an essay, essay, note on one of the proposed topics “Why is it necessary to keep the memory of the Great Patriotic War?” or “What can be done so that my peers do not forget about the events and heroes of the Great Patriotic War?”. Any volume, but it is fundamentally important for us that these are personal, informal and cordial reflections of the participants in the final. If one of the participants in the final draws VERY well, instead of a written work, you can submit a picture made in any technique on the topic “The Great Patriotic War”. You need to attach your works to a personal application (you can first submit an application, and then, as the work progresses, click edit the application and attach an article or a photo of the painting).

The best fragments from written works and paintings will be included in the final collection of the Olympiad.

Once again, we ask you to treat this task informally and as responsibly as possible - the topic does not allow you to do it differently.

3. Register a team and be sure to hold one round of the Olympiad in a preschool institution before February 1, attaching an archive with a small note and 3-5 bright photos in good quality.

Now a note on composition. If someone from the proposed list refuses to participate, then all approvals with replacements are only through the organizing committee.

It is necessary to register your teams before the end of the year so that we understand exactly who will participate. There are many applicants, and it is necessary to have time to provide teams from other regions with the opportunity to participate in the final.

Information about the history of the event Open All-Russian Intellectual Olympiad "Our Heritage"

Currently, there are many different subject Olympiads. The Open All-Russian Intellectual Olympiad (OVIO) "Our Heritage" was created as an interdisciplinary Olympiad focused on identifying gifted children, regardless of the scope of their special subject talents. Tasks, divided into various blocks, allow children to demonstrate their abilities in the speed and quality of memorization, erudition, speed of thinking when solving logical problems and analyzing texts.

It is important to note that for each Olympiad task of the erudition block and the project tasks accompanying the Olympiad, an important historical topic is selected every year. And all the participants of the Olympiad after its completion are enriched with new knowledge. The topic is announced in advance, and all participants have equal opportunities for preparation.

Of particular note is the design work related to the topics of the Olympiad. What the participants of the final events have not done over the years: computer and board games, video films, game guides to the museum, almanacs and memory books, teaching aids.

What is a school league?

Results of the regional tour among 8-11 grades / November 2014 /

The results of the regional tour have been summed up. 18 teams from the following regions can take part in the final:

Moscow, St. Petersburg, Belgorod Region, Volgograd Region, Kaliningrad Region, Krasnodar Region, Moscow Region, Novosibirsk Region, Orel Region, Smolensk Region, Rostov Region, Samara Region, Sverdlovsk Region, Stavropol Territory, Tomsk Region, Tula Region, Ulyanovsk Region , Yaroslavl region.

The composition of each team is formed in accordance with the individual rating for the region and taking into account the results of the qualifying stage of the school league.

The list of participants in the final will also be supplemented by participants based on the results of the all-Russian tour, which will take place on December 2-3, with foreign participants from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Lithuania.

What is a school league?

From this academic year, instead of the Major League, we are establishing a school league. The best schools according to the results of the school ranking of the intramural regional tour and the first three schools from the all-Russian tour get into this league, provided that these schools are from those regions where the intramural regional tour was not held.

How does the school league work?

1. The school confirms its participation in the school league with tasks sent before December 1 (see Appendix 2). Tasks can be compiled not only by team members, but also by teachers, and even parents. We are only interested in assignments. The school will not be allowed to participate in individual competitions without assignments loaded on time.

2. After the assignments are received, the school holds 9 individual competitions among its participants (verse, correspondence, dates, word, test, crossword, reading, logic, listening) and publishes the results on the website. Attention: there is no limit on the number of students who complete the tasks, but the school must upload only the top five to the site. At the same time, it is necessary to strictly observe the rule: at least one result from an eighth grader or younger student and no more than three from grades 10-11. This round must be held in schools on December 3rd or 4th only, and the results must be uploaded by December 4th.

What is important? Trust, which is VERY precious to us. If the results are inflated somewhere, we will not only remove them, but we will not invite the school that published such results to participate in the school league in the future. Hard? But no one bothers to understand the rules and conduct the tour as it should be.

Additional condition: teams from one city or municipality must conduct an internal round at the base of one of the schools.

3. Based on the results of this individual round, 8 teams are selected, which will be offered additional tasks online. The results obtained, taking into account individual ones, will become the basis for the selection of 4 teams for the final, which already in the full-time final will compete for first places not only with the teams of the regions, but also for the title of the strongest school team in Russia.

What concessions on the formation of the composition of the school we allow

Firstly, any student who has ever studied at this school can participate in the composition of the school (if the participant is now studying at another school, he can represent his former school). Secondly, the participation of one student from another school is allowed.

Annex 1.

The composition of schools admitted to participate in the school league, subject to the completion of homework

A full-time tour among these schools should be held: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Livny, Smolensk, Ulyanovsk.

Dear Colleagues!

I acquaint you with the PRELIMINARY distribution of places among the teams that have passed to the decisive correspondence stage of the school league. This list, if the appeal is satisfied, may include another team.
116,00
105,00
NOU secondary school "PSPSh" in Moscow 98.00
NOU Orthodox gymnasium in Kaliningrad 88.00
79,00
MBOU secondary school No. 33, Smolensk 75.00
GBOU school No. 605 of St. Petersburg 75.00
GBOU gymnasium No. 92 of St. Petersburg 70.00

Four teams will advance to the final. To determine the four, it will be necessary to conduct 6 more competition teams with the participants (performed by the team): workbook, puzzles, information cards, alphabet, information cards 2, brain ring. First place in each competition will be worth 16 points, second place 14, third place 12, and so on.

In terms of time, this will take a total of 2 hours and will require the participation of all 5 participants (substitutions are possible in comparison with the composition of the written individual tour).

The first round of the school league has ended.

Of the 32 teams that received the right to participate in the school league, 22 schools decided to check their forces. Schools were invited to conduct a tour in the amount corresponding to the final competition. Assignments were taken from the final round among grades 5-7.

Almost all teams successfully completed the tasks. But the more experienced schools turned out to be stronger, the leaders of which already have several participations in the final tournaments.

Here is how the teams were distributed according to the results of 9 written individual tasks

All schools participating in the school league will receive diplomas. The guys themselves will not receive personal diplomas and certificates. The school league is primarily a team competition, and the most important thing here is not personal participation, but the achievement of the school.

And the guys do not need personal diplomas - in fact, all of them are diplomats of the regional round of the Olympiad, and many moreover will go to the finals as part of the national teams of their regions. And participation in the school league was a great rehearsal before the final.

Nevertheless, we have prepared an unofficial personal rating among the participants of the school league. In the news we present the composition of the top ten, and in the appendix a list of the 90 best participants.

It seemed to me that your guys wrote VERY strong team assignments. I think they are guaranteed first places in puzzles, alphabet and brain-ring. Already this will allow the team to most likely guarantee a place in the top four, giving the right to participate in the final.

Dear Colleagues!
Received results from all teams except Novosibirsk. Novosibirsk promised to send everything tomorrow morning.
In order not to torment anyone, now I can say for sure that I got into the top four
ANO "Pavlovskaya Gymnasium" of the Istra region;
NOU SOSH "PSPSh" of Moscow;

For the last place in the top four there is a struggle between Novosibirsk and Kaliningrad.

The remaining three teams did not exactly make it into the top four and their participants will form the regional team.

I'll post the full results tomorrow. Thanks to all the teams for a very honest and responsible refereeing. When you see the results, you will see how well all teams performed. The teams of leaders in Moscow and the region had a tour conducted by representatives of the organizing committee. And in St. Petersburg there was a full-time tour among three schools.

These are teams from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belgorod, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Moscow, Orel, Rostov, Smolensk, Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Tomsk, Tula, Yaroslavl regions, as well as teams from the Central Federal District (Tver, Bryansk) , Siberian Federal District (Novosibirsk, Angarsk), Ural Federal District (Chelyabinsk), Privolzhsky Federal District (Orenburg, Penza, Ulyanovsk N.Novgorod), Southern Federal District (Essentuki, Vladikavkaz), OVIO team, team of the Krasnodar Territory (Tolyatti), Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Pleiada team from the Moscow region, represented by the students of our gymnasium: Yaroslav Kharitonov (grade 9), Nikita Goncharov (grade 10) and Artem Kovalev (grade 8), also competed in the finals of the Olympiad. In addition to our guys, the team included students from Kolomna and Zelenograd.

X anniversary Olympiad, which was dedicated to the First World War. The finalists were selected based on the results of preliminary competitions at the school and regional stages, in which more than 103,000 schoolchildren in grades 2-11 from 79 regions of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania took part.

For our team, the Olympiad began on February 23 with a visit to the Memorial and Park Complex of the Heroes of the First World War, where the first orienteering competition took place. Then, on buses, all participants moved to the Educational Center of the Olympiad, where they completed two team competitions: filling out a workbook and an audiovisual brain-ring (fragments of songs were given in which words were encrypted, somehow related to the theme of the First World War,

and two interesting questions were asked about the video clips. The workbook assignments were very difficult. It was necessary to know the following topics well: "Country at War", "Famous Battles", "Armament".(So in the module "Country at War" were asked in-depth questions about participation Russia, Serbia, Great Britain, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Turkey, USA, France in the First World War. In the topic "Armament" it was necessary to understand material related to warships and submarines, aviation, tanks and anti-tank weapons, artillery and military intelligence. There were, frankly, unexpected themes. For example, "Animals in the First World War", or "The First World War in Fine Arts", "The Red Cross during the War".

The second day of the Olympiad was the most important for each participant of the final, since it was on this day that the guys completed individual tasks, the results of which determined the winners and prize-winners in the individual competition and in separate competitions - nominations such as "Erudition", "Logic", " Listening", "Historical dates". Moreover, on the same day, all the works were posted on the website of the Olympiad, and each participant had the opportunity to look at his work, find out how many points he received for completing tasks, see errors and correct answers.

In the afternoon, each team was divided into two groups. One had to measure strength and skillful joint actions in solving problems on the virtual exposition of the Museum of the First World War, and the other performed tasks based on the novel by E.M. Remarque “All Quiet on the Western Front”.

On the last day of intellectual competitions, which took place in the Palace of Culture of the Moscow University of Communications, the Olympians competed in the Brain Ring intellectual game. 20 questions on the First World War were played. Our team was able to give 15 correct answers. It was on this day that good news awaited us: Yaroslav Kharitonov took second place in the individual classification among 9th grade students and first place in the Historical Dates nomination. Diplomas of the Russian Council of Olympiads for schoolchildren and memorable prizes were presented to the winners by the master of the elite club of experts "What? Where? When?", three-time winner of the Crystal Owl prize M.O. Potashev.

And on February 26, 2014, in the Hall of Church Councils of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' took part in the closing ceremony of the X All-Russian Intellectual Olympiad "Our Heritage" and the VI All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren on the Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture. The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation V.Sh. Koganov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the financial corporation "Uralsib", founder of the education fund "Meta" N.A. Tsvetkov.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' addressed the audience. Participants of the Olympiad enter the most different directions in the most different universities, they have different interests in life, but both "physicists" and "lyricists" can compete on equal terms and follow their own, unique life path to the only possible truth ... "

In the overall standings, the team of the Moscow region "Pleiada" took 12th place out of 30 teams.

We congratulate the guys on a successful performance, because they were able to get around two strong teams of Moscow, the OPK team. GOOD FELLOWS!!! Special congratulations to Yaroslav Kharitonov. This is his first victory at the highest level. Keep it up! We hope that soon we will be able to reach the All-Russian level with our own team.

Brief description of the competitions of the Olympiad

The program of the final stage of the Intellectual Olympiad includes 3 blocks of competitions with 3 tasks each, a brain ring, and special tasks.

At the school and regional level, the Olympiad is held in an abbreviated version

  • Olympiad for high school (grades 5-7)
  • The Olympiad in the secondary school follows the same rules as in the senior school, with the exception of a reduced amount of tasks and the exclusion of the “puzzle” competition in the final.
  • The Olympiad in high school is held in two stages:
  • Olympiad for elementary school

The Olympiad in high school is held according to similar rules, with the exception of a reduced amount of tasks and the exclusion of “puzzle”, “crossword” competitions. The date assignment is replaced by the “examples” assignment.

Examples

Task: remember in the table (8 rows and 4 columns) lines with arithmetic examples or answers to them, then reproduce the answer or the example itself in the corresponding cell.

Rules

  • memorization time - 2 minutes, filling time - 3 minutes.
  • Task sheet: participants are given a table with examples (8 rows and 4 columns). After 2 minutes, the task sheet is taken.
  • Answer sheet: participants must complete the table by writing the answer or the example itself in the empty cells.

Scoring

  • for each correct line - 4 points. For a line with one error - 1 point. More than one mistake - about points.
  • The maximum number of points is 32.

The Olympiad in elementary school is held in two stages

  • school tour
  • Regional all-Russian tour

From October 1, the registration of organizers of the regional tour begins on the website http://ovio.pravolimp.ru. Any school that invites at least 4 other schools to the tour can act as a regional organizer.

The composition of the team for the regional tour is 5 people from grades 3-4, provided that the team has at least two people studying in grade 3 and younger.

The regional tour date is the first weekend after October 14th. Upon completion of the regional round, its organizers must send the results to the organizing committee within 3 days.

Based on the results of the submitted results, a consolidated all-Russian rating is compiled.

Methodology for holding the Olympiad in schools

1. Age of participants

The optimal age of participants in the Olympiad is from 5 to 10 grades. For elementary school assignments should be adapted. Participation in the Olympiad of strong 4 classes is possible. The 11th graders, as a rule, are already aimed at entering universities, and participation in the Olympiad is not so interesting for them.

2. Composition of participants

The experience of conducting Olympiads has shown the inexpediency of participation in the Olympiad of all students of the school. Guys who are not interested in the Olympiad interfere with others and spend all their strength on cheating, distorting the final results. The participation of combined teams of 6 people from each class seems to be optimal, with a large number of people wishing to, it is possible to form several teams from a class. If no participants are recruited for a new team, those wishing to participate in the Olympiad can test their strength in the individual classification.

3. Time and place of the competition

It is better to hold the Olympiad simultaneously among all participants at any lesson or immediately after the lessons.

Form of carrying out: as control work.

4. Timing

From September 21 to October 14, schools can host competitions of the intellectual Olympiad to determine the best and form a school team, as well as organize a school-wide educational and educational event.

When holding the Olympiad on September 21, schools have the opportunity to transfer the results of their participants to a single all-Russian coordination center for inclusion in the consolidated register.

Open All-Russian Intellectual Olympiad "Our Heritage"- this is the largest and most prestigious Olympiad in the Russian Federation for elementary school. The only Olympiad for this age category, included in the list of Olympiads approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The only multi-stage Olympiad, which provides for school, municipal, regional and final rounds.

The theme of the OVIO Olympiad "Our Heritage" for elementary school in 2016/17 is "Professions". The Olympiad is held in three age categories - Grade 1, Grade 2, Grades 3-4.

For 1st grade students, the 2016/17 Olympiad is held in one stage on the basis of their general educational institutions. On the site you can see the archives of assignments from previous years.

From the 2nd grade, very serious competitions are already beginning with the final all-Russian finals: for the 2nd grade in Moscow, for the 3rd-4th grade in Volgograd.

This year the tasks of the school tour are somewhat different from last year. To the main competitions ("Test", "Logic"), the possibility of holding three additional ones ("Correspondence", "Word", "Reading") was added. Holding additional competitions is certainly useful for all students and will help to better select the strongest for participation in the next round.
