The blood type 1 diet was developed by Peter D'Adamo. According to the doctor, carriers of 1 positive and negative blood group are born hunters, both men and women, and therefore to improve their immune system, normalize the functions of the digestive system, maintain vigor and even lose weight when dieting for 1 blood group, they should eat low-fat meats, as well as fish and seafood.

Features of the diet for blood group 1

The blood type 1 diet involves eating red meats, poultry, fish and seafood on the menu. Excludes pork, dairy and grain products, baked goods, coffee, strong black tea, and alcohol. There are some dietary features for people on a blood group 1 diet with positive and negative Rh factor.

A dietary feature of people with positive blood group 1 is the daily consumption of lean meat dishes in their diet, preferably beef and lamb, turkey, as well as fish and seafood. For a side dish, if you have a positive Rh, porridges are recommended: buckwheat, barley, pearl barley, as well as spinach, Jerusalem artichoke, sweet potato, radish, artichokes.

A special feature of nutrition when following a diet with 1 negative blood group is the consumption of meat dishes at least 3-4 times in the weekly diet. It is better to stew or bake meat in the oven. If you have a negative Rh factor, you should first marinate dishes in tomato, cherry or lemon juice. Fish should be on the menu. Additional consumption of fish oil is indicated. Small quantities of goat cheese are allowed in the diet. Consumption of fatty cheeses should be reduced to a minimum.

Prescribing a diet based on blood type

People with 1 positive and negative blood group are prescribed a diet for weight loss. A well-designed menu allows you to lose excess weight while maintaining energy and vigor. Other indications for the diet for people of 1 positive and negative blood group include: a weakened immune system, metabolic disorders and diseases of the digestive system.

Modern developments in dietetics have made it possible to significantly diversify the table of those who watch their weight. The Blood Type 1 Positive Diet will be an excellent solution for that portion of users whose blood type meets the definition of O+ (I+).

The problem of excess weight is one of the most pressing today. But, unfortunately, it is closely related to the risk of developing pathologies. However, sometimes it happens that a diet suitable for losing weight for one person turns out to be absolutely useless for another. For example, the blood type 1 negative diet is completely unsuitable for people with other blood types. Why is this happening?

Why do we lose weight differently?

May opponents of Darwinism forgive us, but evolution is to blame for everything. Humanity has been developing for millions of years, the history of this development, the travels of our ancestors along the meridians and parallels had a tremendous impact on human physiology. This theory was first voiced a long time ago, but only received confirmation in the 20th century.

Geneticists, studying this issue in detail, came to unexpected conclusions. Oddly enough, different blood types have different ages. O+ turned out to be the most ancient of all. It turned out that blood type is closely related not only to the origin of each individual, but also to lifestyle, eating style, as well as inclinations in a variety of areas.

This discovery forced the American researcher Peter D'Adamo to think about developing a special diet, or rather, a blood type diet, which would effectively monitor weight and health. His work formed the basis of an entire system that has become widespread. Depending on your blood type, your diet not only can, but should, differ!

To each according to his needs

What is Dr. D'Adamo's system? Different hematological groups have different characteristics in the absorption of food. Conventionally, I are hunters, II are cattle breeders, III are farmers. Let's analyze nutrition according to blood type 1. It is useful for these people to consume meat, fish, poultry, but their body perceives grains and vegetables much more difficult.

As with any other, there are products that are healthy, neutral, and also harmful.

A diet for the first blood group implies more protein foods, while for those who are carriers of a positive Rh factor, meat should predominate on the table, but for those whose Rh factor is negative, fish, and most likely sea fish, is more suitable. This does not mean that a diet for 1 negative blood type abolishes meat products, but the diet should contain more seafood than meat. But the diet for people with positive blood group 1 is distinguished by the predominance of any meat in the menu, except pork and goose, and a smaller amount of fish.

Harmful, hard-to-digest foods that are completely excluded by the diet for blood type 1 include primarily wheat, nuts, and beans. In addition, to lose weight you need to abstain from pickled and sweet foods.

Neutral food, that is, not digestible too well, but without harm to the body, is considered to be game and poultry, river fish, eggs, cereals, etc.

Is it possible to eat tasty food without harming your health?

A reasonable question that arises with such restrictions is whether it is possible to create a healthy menu without sacrificing the taste and variety of food? We hasten to please you: it is not only possible, but also necessary. After all, for people losing weight, the main stress is often not a decrease in the amount of food, but a decrease in the pleasure of eating. It's hard to enjoy food when you have to count calories, bread units, or anything like that. A table of products has been developed especially for such cases, which allows you to find a combination of tasty and healthy.

First, let's look at what you can and should eat with 1 positive blood type:

Allowed or not Products
What you can and should eat Products from mutton, lamb, veal, turkey, as well as liver, heart, etc.
Fish and seafood meat of pike, sturgeon, cod, trout, hake, seaweed
Cruciferous vegetables radish, broccoli, kohlrabi, turnip, greens, pumpkin, sweet potato, soy derivatives
Fruits plum, prunes, cherry plum, pineapple, figs, apples
Oils olive, flax seed
Cereals buckwheat, pearl barley
Walnuts and pumpkin seeds
Seasonings curry, iodized salt
What you should never do Meat products pork, ham, bacon, goose
Fish and seafood catfish meat, catfish, caviar from all types of fish, marinades, pickles, smoked fish
Vegetables and mushrooms any varieties of cabbage, rhubarb, corn, avocado, champignons, olives, lentils
Fruits and berries such as strawberries, citrus fruits, melons are excluded
Cottonseed, corn, peanut, soybean oils, as well as goose fat, lard
Cereals and grains semolina, wheat groats, oatmeal
Coconut, poppy, pistachios, peanuts
Seasonings cinnamon, black pepper, ketchup, all types of vinegar, pickles, marinades

Also, for people with blood type 1, any baked goods, dairy products, sweets, and alcohol are completely prohibited.

Products that “maintain neutrality” include meat and poultry. This also includes eggs. Also considered neutral are:

  • Fish and seafood: tuna, pike perch, smelt, carp, eel;
  • Mushrooms and vegetables: white beans, peas, asparagus, oyster mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, rutabaga, green onions;
  • Fruits, berries: grapes, watermelon, grapefruit, lemon, banana, kiwi, persimmon, nectarine, barberry;
  • Oils allowed are margarine, butter, sunflower oil, and cod oil;
  • Recommended cereals and grains: barley, millet, rye flour;
  • Sunflower seeds, hazelnuts, almonds, cedar;
  • Seasonings: mustard, mayonnaise, mayonnaise sauces.

The menu includes bee products, jelly or jam, sugar, cocoa beans, homemade cottage cheese, and rennet cheeses.

Thus, for a person who is not embarrassed by cooking, it is not difficult to develop a varied menu. But even if you are not a very experienced cook, the list of acceptable products will allow you to cook many delicious things without harming your health and figure.

Let's get down to business

It is necessary to start any weight loss program only after consulting a doctor. Despite the fact that blood type 1 has well-studied characteristics, there are always individual characteristics that can affect health. Therefore, we do everything under the supervision of specialists.

An active lifestyle that will help you lose weight is not always possible. For example, with very large body weight or hypertension, high loads can be dangerous. Although “meat-eater hunters,” regardless of whether they have a positive or negative blood group, undoubtedly achieve much more impressive results during physical activity.

Drink more water.

There is no need for any soda, herbal teas, or fruit juices - they can always contain elements that do not fit the first positive.

One of the most important principles of weight loss is fractional nutrition, as well as limiting portions. Even the healthiest product, eaten in large quantities, will not add health, but it will add inches to your waist.

Things to remember

There are several details that need to be taken into account if you have blood type O and you decide to lose weight. The first blood group includes the most real meat eaters and athletes. Accordingly, eat more protein foods (except dairy), move more. This will allow you to quickly lose weight.

We remember that the diet for blood group 1 negative focuses on fish and seafood. An abundance of fruit is also recommended.

The diet for the first positive blood group is not a panacea for all ills. Even if you follow the specified diet, but do not start leading a healthy lifestyle, you may lose weight, but this will not get rid of chronic diseases. Quit smoking, stop drinking alcohol, go to bed early.

There are no special foods for women or separate foods for men. We lose weight in accordance with the health benefits indicated in the diet for 1 positive blood group.

In contact with

Not all diets meet two important criteria - weight loss and improved well-being. The Blood Type 1 Positive Diet was developed by nutritionist Peter D'Adamo. 40-50% of earthlings are owners of group I (0).

This diet is theoretically suitable for approximately 33% of the planet's population

If you follow Peter D'Adamo's theory, the largest part of the population comes from the first representatives of humanity. They ate what nature gave them. The nutritionist classified their descendants as “hunters.” Essentially, they are meat eaters. Their characteristic features are taken into account in the diet for blood group 1 (positive). For a woman - a “hunter”:

  1. active functioning of the immune system, predisposition to autoimmune diseases, allergies;
  2. slow metabolism,
  3. strong food tract;
  4. often increased acidity;
  5. worsening blood clotting;
  6. tendency to inflammation;
  7. do not tolerate dietary changes well;
  8. The best way to deal with stress is physical exercise.

Diet according to blood group 1 (Rh positive) with a high protein content. When developing a menu, you need to adhere to the following strategy:

  • Red meat is the main food for “hunters”. Animal proteins activate metabolism, making it easier to lose weight. If you have a lot of excess weight, then it is better to avoid frying.
  • The second type of protein is sea fish. The fats it contains protect against various inflammations and improve the functioning of the thyroid gland.
  • Forget about fermented milk products (except for rare exceptions). The stomach of a “meat eater” is not adapted to milk. It is poorly digested and complicates the activity of the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Wheat flour, most cereals, oatmeal, cookies, and baked goods are the enemies of the “hunters”’ slimness.
  • All types of sweets, candies, chocolate are harmful to carriers of 0(I).
  • Choose fruits and vegetables from those recommended. If you want to lose weight faster, replace some fruits with vegetables.
  • Replace coffee and black tea with green tea or decoctions of ginger and rose hips.
  • Alcohol is allowed in rare cases (red wine).

What is included in the diet?

When drawing up a menu for a diet for the first blood group Rh positive, you need to take into account that all products are divided according to three characteristics:

  • allowed - have a positive effect, are easily digested, contribute to the release of large amounts of energy and accelerate the process of losing weight;
  • neutral - they should be consumed in moderation, since they do not have any effect on metabolism;
  • prohibited - cause harm, provoke various diseases.

It is immediately clear that meat dishes predominate in the diet of hunters or meat eaters

List of approved products

  1. beef, lamb, turkey, offal;
  2. pike, salmon, sturgeon, herring, trout, halibut, hake, mackerel, cod, seaweed;
  3. soy milk;
  4. broccoli, kohlrabi, sweet potato, pumpkin, spinach, chicory, watercress, turnip, onion, parsley;
  5. apples, cherries, plums, prunes, cherry plums, figs;
  6. juices from the listed fruits and vegetables;
  7. pumpkin seeds, walnuts;
  8. olive, linseed oil;
  9. white pepper, curry;
  10. linden and rosehip tea.

To lose weight, you need to prepare dishes from this list. It can be expanded by connecting neutral products. They do not activate the weight loss process, but do not interfere with it:

  • rabbit, chicken, duck, eggs;
  • pike perch, carp, flounder, tuna, perch, crayfish, squid, cod liver;
  • cottage cheese, soft cheese;
  • sunflower, butter;
  • hazelnuts, pine nuts, almonds;
  • asparagus, green peas, beans, oyster mushrooms;
  • pearl barley, buckwheat, barley, rice, rye flour;
  • sugar, jam, honey, chocolate;
  • mayonnaise, mustard;
  • dill, fennel, paprika, bay leaf, coriander, cloves;
  • tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, sweet peppers, radishes, carrots, beets;
  • any fruits except prohibited ones;
  • tea from chamomile, mint, raspberry, green tea.

List of prohibited products

When drawing up a diet for the first positive blood group, foods were identified that have a negative effect on people “hunters”. Here is the list:

  1. pork, lard, ham, goose;
  2. caviar, smoked and pickled herring, catfish, catfish;
  3. all dairy and fermented milk products except cottage cheese;
  4. corn, peanut oil, lentils;
  5. pistachios, peanuts;
  6. pasta, semolina, wheat, corn, oatmeal;
  7. oatmeal cookies, cereal, crackers, all baked goods, muesli, cornstarch;
  8. ketchup, canned vegetables, apple and wine vinegar;
  9. nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, black pepper;
  10. all types of cabbage (except kohlrabi and broccoli), potatoes, champignons;
  11. tangerines, oranges, melon, coconut, blackberries, olives;
  12. coffee, black tea, St. John's wort decoction, alcohol, carbonated drinks.

It should be noted that this diet does not help everyone lose weight, but it’s still worth trying.

Sample menu for the week

If you decide to switch to a diet according to the first blood group (Rh positive), you cannot do without a strict menu. Failure to follow the rules will immediately lead to eating disorders, and over time – to a return to normal meals. If you have already decided to lose weight in this way, then immediately write down your weekly diet. Choose dishes so that the maximum number of foods from the healthy list is included.

Some tips for creating a food list:

  • In the first month, the daily kilocalorie intake should not exceed 1800.

At first, switching to a balanced diet may seem difficult, but with experience, the whole process will become much easier.

Contraindications for going on a diet

Holders of the 1st positive blood group should know that Peter D’Adamo’s weight loss diet is not as harmless as it seems. It is safe for healthy people, but if you have chronic diseases, you should consult a doctor or nutritionist. An abundance of animal protein increases cholesterol and can cause an attack of gout, constipation or other intestinal disorders.

This diet is strictly contraindicated for diseases:

  • kidney,
  • with disorders of the thyroid gland,
  • with high cholesterol levels,
  • problems with the gastrointestinal tract,
  • exacerbation of chronic diseases.

How much can you lose?

The number of kilograms lost directly depends on the desire and individual characteristics of the person losing weight.

But weight loss is guaranteed. There are a number of reasons for this:

  1. The diet does not contain foods that are harmful to everyone - sugar, baked goods, fast food, carbonated and alcoholic drinks. By eliminating this “food waste,” a person begins to lose weight naturally.
  2. By focusing on the selection of ingredients when cooking, those losing weight begin to take a more responsible approach to this process. Harmful foods disappear from the diet, and proper eating habits begin to form. This helps increase energy and speeds up metabolic processes.
  3. Quality nutrition is a step towards physical activity. The developers consider physical activity as an important element of the diet. For meat-eaters with a low metabolism, intensive jogging, swimming, and fitness are recommended. Systematic exercises act as an additional factor in weight loss: they help stabilize mood, control hunger, and avoid breakdowns.

If you noticed that the compiled menu does not contain clear portion sizes. You shouldn't go hungry. With the right diet, the kilograms will go away on their own. If there is a desire to speed up the process, then the amount of food can be reduced, but within the range of 1500-2000 kilocalories per day.

You have to get used to the idea that this is not a short-term diet, but a way of life.

More than 34% of the population on our planet has blood type 1. And according to scientists, it was this blood group that served as the basis for the formation of other groups. People with the first blood group, regardless of whether it has a positive or negative Rh factor, are winners in life. They are purposeful and are used to always achieving their goals no matter what.

And all because their distant ancestors were real hunters. They devoted all their time only to searching for prey. They set a goal for themselves and fulfilled it, despite weather conditions or health conditions.

Their diet mainly consisted of meat and seafood, which contain all the substances necessary for the body. Therefore, in such people the digestive and immune systems are much better developed than in representatives of other blood groups.

In most cases, people with blood type I do not have problems with excess weight, since they lead an active lifestyle and eat meat products, which give them energy throughout, which is why there are practically no snacks in their diet. But there are exceptions who have been trying to fight excess weight for several years and all to no avail.

And all because they do not take into account their blood type when choosing diets, which greatly influences the final result. The diet for blood type 1 has its limitations in the consumption of certain foods, which we will tell you about below. All products can be divided into three groups: healthy, neutral and harmful. And for each blood group there is a separate list.

Blood type greatly affects the process of food digestion. And if one blood group easily digests this or that product, then for another blood group it will be very difficult to do this, which is why those food products that undergo long digestion begin to release toxins in the body, which is dangerous to human health.

Therefore, a blood type diet should exclude those same toxic foods, thereby facilitating the work of the digestive system and removing from the body those accumulated before the diet.

You can learn about how blood type affects the process of losing weight in the following video:

Features of the diet for blood type 1

The diet for the first blood group applies to all people with this blood type, regardless of the Rh factor. But everything is complicated here by the fact that even despite such a developed immune and digestive system, their body cannot tolerate any changes in diet and environment, which it shows every time through allergic reactions.

For people with the first blood group, the most effective results will be obtained from diets based on protein foods. That is, protein in the diet should occupy 90% and only 10% should be fats and carbohydrates. And to do this, you need to include lean meat (except pork) and fish in your diet. Eating foods high in iodine - seaweed, iodized salt, seafood - will also be very useful.

A person with the first blood group does not necessarily have to “sit” on food while feeling constant hunger. As a rule, they do not give any results or the weight will begin to return at an accelerated pace. In order to lose weight, it is enough to simply exclude harmful foods from your diet, minimize the consumption of neutral ones and maximize healthy ones. And naturally, there is no way to do this without physical exercise.

For people with blood type O, useful foods are:

  • meat: veal, lamb, venison, heart, liver;
  • seafood: cod, pike, yellow perch, sardine, sturgeon, sole, halibut, trout, mackerel;
  • vegetables: garlic, horseradish, parsley, spinach, parsnip, onion, capsicum, turnip, kale, Jerusalem artichoke;
  • fruits: plums, figs, prunes;
  • olive and linseed oils;
  • bakery products from sprouted grains;
  • walnuts and pumpkin seeds;
  • legumes: spotted and radiant beans, cow peas;
  • spices: curry, turmeric, red algae;
  • juices from plums, cherries, black cherries;
  • seltzer;
  • herbal teas with the addition of rose hips, ginger, linden, dandelion, hops, mint.

It is these foods that need to be emphasized when following a diet for blood group 1.

Neutral products do not bring any harm to the body of a person with the first blood group, but there is no benefit from them either. Therefore, their use should still be kept to a minimum if possible. Neutral products include:

  • meat: chicken, turkey;
  • seafood: mussels, shrimp, carp, flounder, tuna, carp, smelt, sea bass, eel, oysters, lobster;
  • vegetables: green olives, rutabaga, white peas, ginger, tomatoes, beets, pumpkin, celery, cucumbers, asparagus, bell peppers;
  • berries and fruits: bananas, watermelons, gooseberries, pears, kiwi, persimmons, pomegranates, raspberries, peach, elderberry;
  • dairy products: soy milk, cheese, butter;
  • oils: sesame, rapeseed, cod liver oil;
  • cereals: barley, rice, buckwheat, agaric;
  • bakery products made from wheat, rye, soy flour and brown rice;
  • almonds, pine nuts, sesame seeds, hazelnuts;
  • legumes: green peas, green beans, white beans;
  • spices: rosemary, mustard, coriander, bay leaf, thyme, dill, allspice;
  • sauces: mayonnaise, mustard, apple paste, fruit jams;
  • drinks: white and red wine, apricot, grape and cranberry juices;
  • herbal teas with the addition of chamomile, thyme, raspberry leaf, sage.

These products are very poorly digested by the digestive system of people with the first blood group, and they release a large amount of toxins. The following foods should be completely excluded from the diet:

  • meat: goose, pork;
  • seafood: smoked salmon, herring, octopus, caviar, striped catfish;
  • vegetables: eggplant, potatoes, avocado, cabbage;
  • fruits and berries: strawberries, blackberries, citrus fruits, melon, rhubarb, coconut;
  • dairy and fermented milk products: ice cream, kefir, yoghurt, processed cheese, hard cheese, whey;
  • oils: corn and cottonseed;
  • cereals and cereals: rye, corn, wheat, oats;
  • bakery products based on yeast, with the addition of wheat bran;
  • nuts and seeds: pistachios, poppy seeds, peanuts, cashews;
  • legumes: lentils, copper beans and dark beans;
  • spices: nutmeg, vinegar, cinnamon, vanilla, ground white and black pepper, capers;
  • sauces: ketchup, marinades, relish and pickles;
  • drinks: black tea, coffee, apple cider, juices from cabbage, apples and oranges;
  • herbal teas with the addition of St. John's wort, rhubarb, clover, burdock.

These products are not only poorly absorbed by the body of people with the first blood group, but also contribute to the deposition of fat cells, which leads to the formation of extra pounds. This is especially true for lentils, which slow down the metabolic process, and dark-colored beans, which slow down the process.

By adhering to this, people with the first blood group will never have to think about getting rid of extra pounds, since they simply won’t be there. But at the time of weight loss, it is still recommended not to forget about physical activity, which not only tightens the skin and strengthens muscles, but also speeds up metabolism, which promotes weight loss. Walking in the fresh air is especially useful; you need to walk for at least 30 minutes.

Such a diet for blood type 1 will allow you to normalize blood sugar levels, as well as normalize cholesterol levels. Be healthy and eat right!

Health features of representatives of the 1st blood group

The first blood group is the most ancient. It began to take shape at the dawn of human development. In those days, people hunted and created primitive tools for killing animals and obtaining meat. The main source of nutrition was protein foods. Representatives of the 1st group are figuratively called “hunters”. They have strong immunity and a strong digestive system. Thanks to this, the body maintains an optimal balance of nutritional components and proper metabolism.

Health features with 1st positive blood group (O(I)Rh+):

  • good endurance and a high level of resistance to stress and neurosis;
  • increased stomach acidity;

The diet for the first blood group should include foods rich in proteins and proteins. Seafood and seaweed will help replenish iodine deficiency. The diet excludes dairy products, flour products and cereals. Carbohydrates slow down metabolism and are poorly absorbed by the body.

Diet principles for the first positive blood group:

  • eat meat or liver in small portions daily (no more than 170 g at a time);
  • eat sea fish (activates the thyroid gland and has a powerful anti-inflammatory effect);
  • eat more green vegetables;
  • Replace black tea and caffeinated drinks with herbal or green tea (this will help avoid increased stomach acidity);
  • establish a diet and stick to it regularly;
  • It is recommended to bake, boil or lightly fry the meat.

What foods should be in the diet

Positive Rh and blood type 1 make the body prone to eating protein foods, so meat and seafood should predominate in the diet. The consumption of milk and dairy products is kept to a minimum.

Nutritionist advice. Excluding harmful foods from the diet, planning and having a diet teach a person to be organized. But the hypothesis about possible conflicts between proteins supplied with food and blood antibodies has not yet been scientifically proven. Before entering the blood, any food protein is broken down into amino acids. The main disadvantage of this type of diet for blood group 1 is that the exclusion of major food groups can lead to serious nutritional deficiencies. For example, a lack of dairy food can trigger the development of osteoporosis, and a lack of grain food can cause fatigue, apathy and an increased desire for sweets. On the other hand, eating a lot of meat (instead of fruits, vegetables and whole grains) may increase your risk of developing certain types of cancer and heart disease, especially in adulthood. Therefore, you need to stick to the diet without fanaticism, and before you decide to go on it, be sure to consult with an experienced specialist.

Diet menu examples

The diet for people with blood type No. 1 should be combined with physical activity. For those who have a positive Rh factor, aerobics, jogging in the morning, and swimming are suitable. To lose weight, you should eat fresh vegetables, boiled and baked meat, reduce the amount of fruits, nuts, legumes, sweets and fried foods.

For blood group 1, the diet is based on products from the permitted list. You can also include foods that have a neutral effect on the body in your diet.

Eating according to blood group 1 positive will be effective if it becomes a habit and is not used from time to time. Such a diet will help not only improve health, but also maintain normal weight.
