I tried to draw a little existence on a submarine ship. All these questions embrace almost impossible in a short article. I tried to reveal the weekdays in the life of submariners.

It is very difficult for me to talk about the patriotism of some of my comrades, call individual names too. Almost everyone, with whom I went to the sea, deserve the most sincere respect. Self-dedication of submariners has always been so high, and it was so indecent to praise that all the burden and deprivation of service we perceived not only as inevitable, but with some pathos. I say "we", not "I", because I was inseparable from the crew, because only in the crew each of us meant. And this applies to all, from the commanders of ships to the youngest sailors.
