If you have at least super professional software, nothing will work without beautiful photos. Therefore, the first task to be solved is the selection of beautiful interesting photos. It is desirable that they be treated accordingly. It would be foolish to show pictures with a frankly "littered" horizon, or too dark, or, on the contrary, overexposed.

Now we had to choose a suitable tool for "packing" the selected photos and adding sound. The good old Power Point was immediately put aside. She does not know how to make a video sequence, and in the task it was said that it was necessary to make a movie in mp4 format.

By brute force paid programs for a slide show, it turned out that not all of them meet the requirements. The fact is that, according to the condition of the task, the image should not contain any logos and indications of the use of trial versions.

One of the paid programs that I paid attention to was . I have previously used this company's program to create calendars. Basically, I liked the instrument. I then quickly made the calendar that I needed. Now I'm going to all the relatives on New Year I will make gifts and I will not forget colleagues.

Trial version of the program AMS Photo Show PRO works 10 days. Then you need to buy a license. I was very lucky. Just at that time there was some kind of promotion, so an excellent premium package for creating a slide show with several interesting additional templates cost me 1900 rubles. Having got at my disposal a full-fledged, and even a premium version with additional templates, I plunged into creativity. Now I'll show you how it all happened. Fortunately, I guessed in the process to record my actions, making screenshots of almost every step.

Creating a slideshow begins with a choice of options:

Experienced users can create a project from scratch. Literally, from scratch. There is a first button for this. The program has a number of already ready-made templates. They are sorted by subject. Since I was doing an "autumn project", I chose the "Autumn Mood" template:

By the way, over time, you can buy new templates or make them yourself. But this, of course, is already for those users who "dive" into the topic and constantly make slide shows. For yourself or to order. You ask, why make a slide show for yourself? I answer. For example, we went on vacation, took 500 photos. If you start showing them all to your relatives, friends, colleagues, then "not every bird will fly to the middle of the Dnieper." Already in the second hundred, the audience will begin to yawn, look out the window, at the clock. Bored, in a word.

But if you select three or four dozen of the most successful frames, process them as expected, and then make a slide show with music, then it will look much more interesting. I think selecting and preparing photos, giving specific names to files in order to keep the display order, is an even more laborious task than actually creating a slide show.

After uploading photos to the program, you can swap them, delete them, upload additional ones. All this is done using the buttons on the right side of the window:

Pay attention to the inscription at the bottom of the window about the recommended number of photos. The fact is that in each specific template there is a certain number of pre-drawn slides. If the slides are over before pictures, then the title slide goes again and then in turn. It doesn't always look good. In principle, you can then adjust everything manually, but let's leave it as it is for now.

We press the button in the center of the window and select music from the program's built-in collection, or download the one that is on our computer's hard drive. Usually the length of our slideshow and the duration of the music are somewhat different. Both values ​​are shown in the lower right part of the window:

In our particular case, the music turned out to be more than twice as long as the video sequence. There are three options for solving the problem:

  1. Let it be as it is. When the photos are over, the music will just stop.
  2. Add about as many more photos. This is not always convenient.
  3. Press the "Synchronize" button. In this case, the length of the slide show will be "pulled up" to the length musical composition. This is due to the increase in the time of demonstration of each individual slide. We choose this option.

We press the "done" button and after a few seconds we see the finished project:

With the button " play"you can see what we have done. In principle, if you don’t particularly find fault, you can immediately proceed to the next step. But someone may not like how the starting title appears, and in general, they want to change the inscription. In this case, you can click button " edit slide" and make the necessary changes. We will not talk about this (this is a big separate conversation). Let's imagine that we liked everything and it's time to create a video file.

To do this, we select the tab " create". Here we are asked to save the project to disk. Then select the button" create video slideshow". In the window that opens - " Create an AVI video file".

Of course, you can choose other options, but for now we strive to move the shortest route, trying to perform a minimum of operations. Just wondering what we can do.

In this window, we will have to move the settings a little. The default is a smaller frame size. I set the size so that the resulting video file fits well into the page of this site. You can install smaller or big sizes up to FullHD.

It is also worth putting the quality a little above average.

After all installations are completed, we press the button " conversion". Now we can rest a bit, because the computer will turn our project into a video file for some time. Depending on the power of the computer, the duration of the slide show and the complexity of the effects, the rendering time may be different.

During rendering, you can see the future slide show. If you notice an error, you can stop the rendering, fix it, and then restart the process from the beginning.

As a result, a video file appears on the disk of your computer in the specified location. It can be opened and viewed. Here's what happened to me:

Just a few remarks.

  1. I didn't like how the title came out. To be honest, I don’t like all these flips and twists at all. The same goes for some of the photos.
  2. It's good that we slowed down the playback by stretching the length of the video to the length of the music. With this slow, calm music, the movements should just be smooth, unhurried.
  3. Still, I would like some of the photos to be shown in a larger size.

But on the other hand ... what am I clinging to? Is it possible to demand complete perfection from the result that we got in just 5-7 minutes? After all, what have we actually done?

  • launched the program
  • chose "slide show in 5 minutes",
  • choose a template
  • added photos,
  • added music, equalized the duration with the duration of the video,
  • exported the project to a video file.

Can we grumble that the program, for all that, did not quite do what we wanted? I think it would be a real stink on our part.

Moreover, after spending another 20-30 minutes, we can solve all the problems and get a much better result. Just the one you need!

On the other hand, it would be possible to do the entire video sequence with your own hands. Set up all transitions, all animations, effects exactly the way we need! It's great that the program allows us to do all this. True, you have to "sit" longer. But we will get an excellent result, which will not be ashamed to show the audience of the highest level.
