A great desire to live and a feeling of gratitude for everything that he has ... This is what it is, in fact, Nick Vujicic whose biography touches to the depths of the soul. This man is known for his will to win, ability to overcome difficulties, as well as physical injuries that could break the life of anyone. However, he not only does not give up, but also helps people of all the globe to believe in his own strength, developing his God-given potential.

History of Nick Vuychich: childhood

Nick Vuychich was born on December 4, 1982 in Australia. He was born with a terrible pathology: the boy had no limbs. When the father, who was present at the birth, saw that a shoulder without an arm had appeared, he ran out of the ward. When the doctor came to see him, he learned with despair that the child had neither arms nor legs. For four months, the young mother could not recover and take the baby in her arms. But still, the parents did not abandon him, fell in love and began to educate him.

Nick tried to always do everything on his own, wanted to be an ordinary child and refused outside help. He had only one foot instead of his left leg, but thanks to this he learned to walk. This was his first victory, since no one believed that the boy would be able to move independently. But Nick Vuychich, whose photo can be found in this article, learned to swim, ride a skateboard while lying on his stomach, write and even use a computer. He brushes his teeth, shaves, combs and talks on his cell phone.

At the age of eight, Nick Vuychich, tired of the constant ridicule at school (he went to a regular school), wanted to commit suicide. But the thought of his parents and the fact that they love him stopped him from trying to drown himself. And he decided to live a full life. Moreover, he set a goal for himself: to inspire others by his example. And as we all see, he achieved it.

Nick Vuychich: biography of the great speaker

After graduating from school, the young man entered the university. When he turned nineteen, he was offered the duration of the speech was determined: seven minutes. But after three minutes, the hall was crying, because Nick spoke about the value of the life of every person, regardless of his physical condition. After the performance, a girl approached him, hugged him and sobbed, and then thanked him for saving him: she was going to take her own life.

In performances, Nick found his calling and since then began to travel the world, gathering audiences of millions. He visited schools and institutions of higher education, nursing homes and prisons. The number of speeches per year could reach 250. Nick became a professional speaker, traveled to almost fifty countries. In India, he collected a record number of listeners - 110 thousand people.

Motivation from Nick

Nick Vuychich, whose biography is a continuous feat, teaches us to appreciate every moment, to be grateful to God for everything that he gives, and he also helps to overcome difficulties. "Laugh when it's hard," says the speaker, referring to his only foot as a ham. Asked by children about his physical handicaps, Nick replies that it was his smoking that harmed him.

Nick likes to end his lectures with a story about falling and suddenly falling face down. But at the same time, he reminds that everything in life happens, and it is necessary to find the strength to rise, even when they are not. Failure is not the end if there is hope. He also says that faith in God is a strong support for him, so he does not get tired of preaching about him to his listeners.

Personal life of an extraordinary person

Nick Vuychich, whose biography is discussed in this article, considers himself an absolutely happy person. He has everything that is needed for this: a favorite job (he not only performs in front of the audience, he acted in films and participates in television shows) and loving parents. AT free time surfing, golfing, fishing.

But recently, he also has a second half. 2012 Nick, who lives in California, got married. His chosen one was Kanae Miahare, who strongly supports her husband. The wedding was very beautiful and touching, the bride beamed with happiness, as she believed that her fiance was a reliable support. A year later, Nick Vujicic's wife gave him a son. Kiyoshi James Vuychich - as the young parents named the baby - is surrounded by love and care. The boy was born absolutely healthy, with a weight of 3 kg 600 g and a height of 53 centimeters.

Instead of an afterword

Nick Vuychich shows the world how much each person can achieve. After all, he could not believe in his own strength, consider himself a burden for his relatives and suffer from his own injury. But he took care of himself with God's help. And he also became a support for millions of other people, taught them to find confidence and energy in themselves to realize their plans. And you don't have to be like other people. Actually being special is not so bad.

If an unusual incident happened to you, you saw strange creature or an incomprehensible phenomenon, you had an unusual dream, you saw a UFO in the sky or became a victim of alien abduction, you can send us your story and it will be published on our website ===> .

Nikolai Vuychich is a very famous preacher in America... He was born in Melbourne in 1982 in a family of Serbian emigrants, very religious people... He was born without arms and without legs. A son without limbs was not what nurse Duska Vujicic and pastor Boris Vujicic expected...

Many people are very worried about such occasions as too big nose, protruding ears, an ugly mole, too tall or short height ... There are many complexes that serve as fertile ground for all kinds of disorders and even depression. Now imagine how a young, handsome, 26-year-old boy who was born without arms and without legs can feel ...

"How often do you use your arms and legs?" - Nick asks this question, testifying about his life. In principle, he does not wait for an answer - this is just a call to think ... He himself adapted to live independently in this world - he turns on the light, shaves, combs his hair, opens the water tap, uses the phone, drives the stroller ...

Particularly striking is Nick's skill and love for various types sports - he swims in the pool ...

Nick is controlled with a computer keyboard, typing 43 words per minute! His favorite combination fast printing on the keyboard - "heel-toe". In addition, Nick learned to write and draw, acquired the specialty of a financier, having graduated from the relevant educational institution. But all this did not come at once. There were years of despair and sadness when Nick wondered, "Why me?" .... and did not receive a response.

Today, at age 26, this limbless guy has achieved more than most people twice his age. Nick recently moved from Brisbon, Australia to California, USA, where he is president of a charity. In addition, he has his own company called "Attitude Is Altitude".

"People say to me, 'How can you smile?'" says Nick. They then realize that "there must be something more than what's seen at a glance if a guy with no arms and legs lives longer than full life than me." Nick tells his audience about the importance of having a vision and dreaming big. Using his own experience around the world as an example, he challenges others to consider their perspectives and look beyond their circumstances.

He shares his point of view on how to stop looking at obstacles as a problem and instead start seeing them as an opportunity for growth, how to influence others…He emphasizes the importance of our attitude and that it is the most powerful tool that is at our disposal; and also shows how the choices we make can have a profound effect on our lives and the lives of those around us.

There are a lot of publications about Nick Vuychich on the net (and a lot of videos too), he is generally a public figure. But for a long time I myself wanted to write about him at home, because he is really a great fellow, but all my hands did not reach. And then the news arrived that on February 12 he got married, that's the reason.

Disabled Preacher Nick Vujicic Marries
Taken from http://madwind.livejournal.com/2009246.html

There have been many stories about Nick Vuychich, a guy without legs and arms, who once wanted to commit suicide, and then began to preach the gospel all over the world. (Let's make it clear right away: Nick is a Christian, a Protestant, Jesus is the center of his life. Wikipedia says: Nick Vuychich (December 4, 1982, Brisbane, Australia) is a Christian preacher, was born into a family of Serbian immigrants, his father is a pastor, his mother is a nurse).

Since 1999, Nick began to speak to his church group and soon opened non-profit organization"Life without limbs" (Eng. Life without Limbs). He usually performs in churches, but also in schools, universities, in army units. He motivates people, inspires by his example and, of course, talks about Jesus. Before the start of the performance, the assistant usually brings Nick to the stage and helps him get on some kind of dais so that he can be seen. Then Nick tells episodes from his everyday life. About people still staring at him on the streets. About the fact that when the children run up and ask: “What happened to you ?!”, and he answers them in a hoarse voice: “It’s all because of cigarettes!”))

After that, he says: "And to be honest, sometimes you can fall like this." Nick falls face down on the table he was standing on. And he continues: “It happens in life that you fall, and it seems that you have no strength to rise. You wonder then if you have any hope... I have neither arms nor legs! It seems that if I try to rise at least a hundred times, I will not succeed. But after another defeat, I do not leave hope. I will try again and again. I want you to know that failure is not the end. What matters is how you finish. Are you going to finish strong? Then you will find the strength to rise up in yourself – in this way.” He leans on his forehead, then helps himself with his shoulders and gets up...

Nick talks about gratitude to God. "I could not find anything else that would give me peace. Through the word of God, I learned the truth about the purpose of my life - about who I am, why I live, and where I will go when I die. Without faith, nothing made sense.. Sometimes they say to me: "No, no! I can't imagine myself without arms and legs!" But comparison of suffering is impossible, nor is it necessary. What can I say to someone whose loved one is dying of cancer or whose parents are divorced? I will not understand their pain. There is a lot of pain in this life, so there must be absolute Truth, absolute Hope, which above all circumstances. My hope is in heaven. If you connect your happiness with temporary things, it will be temporary."

Between business trips, Nick fishes, plays golf and surfs: "Usually, parents of disabled children get divorced. My parents are not divorced. Do you think they were scared? Yes. Do you think they trusted God? Yes. I guess now they see fruits of my labors? Absolutely right ... How many people would believe if they showed me on TV and said: "This guy prayed to the Lord and he got arms and legs"? But when people see me for who I am, they wondering: “How can you smile?” For them, this is a visible miracle. I need my trials so that I understand how dependent on God. Other people need my testimony that "the power of God is made perfect in weakness." They look into the eyes of a man without arms and legs and see in them peace, joy - that is what everyone aspires to."

Nick recently got married. In August, the engagement was announced, the wedding took place the other day.
On February 12, 2012, Nick Vujicic married Kanae Miahara.

He once said: “I thought: what kind of husband can I become if I can’t even hold my wife’s hand? But it’s a lie to think that you are not good enough. It’s a lie to think that you are worth nothing. How many people believe that they are worthless! .. Yes, I have no hands to hold my wife by the hand, but when the time comes and God gives me a wife, I will be able to hold her with my heart. And so it turned out.

“There are people who give up because they don’t have the strength to look around the corner. And if you don’t look around the corner, you will never know what God has in store for you there,” says Nick. “Have you trusted God with all your heart? He knows how much it hurts... But God has a plan for your life! He says in the Bible: "Even if you go through fire, don't be afraid: I'm with you!". If only you could receive the gift of Jesus! He - the greatest gift we can receive He is love He is infinite He is love that manifests itself in everything You can have all the money in the world, anything you want, but you will not take anything with you to the grave except your own souls."

Nick Vuychich. No arms, no legs - no fuss

It was their long-awaited firstborn. The father was in labor. He saw the baby's shoulder - what is it? No hand. Boris Vuychich realized that he had to leave the room at once so that his wife would not have time to notice how his face had changed. He couldn't believe what he saw.

When the doctor came to him, he began to speak:

"My son! Doesn't he have a hand?

The doctor replied:

"No... Your son has no arms or legs."

The doctors refused to show the baby to the mother. The nurses were crying.

Why?

Nicolas Vuychich was born in Melbourne, Australia, in a family of Serbian emigrants. Mother is a nurse. Father is a pastor. The whole parish lamented: “Why did the Lord allow this?” The pregnancy proceeded normally, with heredity everything is in order.

At first, the mother could not bring herself to take her son in her arms, she could not breastfeed him. “I had no idea how I would take the child home, what to do with him, how to take care of him,” recalls Duska Vujvic. I didn't know who to contact with my questions. Even the doctors were confused. Only after four months I began to recover. My husband and I began to solve problems without looking far ahead. One by one."

Nick has a semblance of a foot instead of a left leg. Thanks to this, the boy learned to walk, swim, skateboard, play on the computer and write. Parents made sure that their son was taken to a regular school. Nick became the first child with a disability in a regular Australian school.

“It meant that the teachers surrounded me with too much attention,” recalls Nick. - On the other hand, although I had two friends, most often I heard from my peers: “Nick, go away!”, “Nick, you can’t do anything!”, “We don’t want to be friends with you!”, “You are nobody !"

drown myself

Every evening, Nick prayed to God and asked him: "God, give me arms and legs!" He cried and hoped that when he wakes up in the morning, arms and legs will already appear. Mom and dad bought him electronic hands. But they were too heavy, and the boy could not use them.

On Sundays he went to church school. They taught that the Lord loves everyone. Nick did not understand how this could be - why then God did not give him what everyone has. Sometimes adults would come up and say: “Nick, everything will be fine with you!” But he did not believe them - no one could explain to him why he was like that, and no one could help him, not even God. At the age of eight, Nicholas decided to drown himself in the bath. He asked his mother to take him there.

“I turned my face into the water, but it was very difficult to resist. Nothing worked. During this time, I presented a picture of my funeral - here are my dad and mom ... And then I realized that I could not kill myself. All I saw from my parents was love for me.”

change heart

Nick did not try to commit suicide anymore, but he kept thinking - why should he live.

He won't be able to work, he won't be able to take his bride by the hand, he won't be able to take his child in his arms when he cries. One day, my mother read an article to Nick about a seriously ill person who inspired others to live.

Mom said, “Nick, God needs you. I do not know how. I do not know when. But you can serve Him."

At the age of fifteen, Nick opened the Gospel and read the parable of the blind man. The disciples asked Christ why this man was blind. Christ answered: "So that the works of God may appear on it." Nick says that at that moment he stopped being angry with God.

“Then I realized, I am not just a person without arms and legs. I am a creation of God. God knows what and why He does. It doesn't matter what people think, says Nick now. God didn't answer my prayers. It means that He wants to change my heart more than the circumstances of my life. Probably, even if I suddenly had arms and legs, it would not calm me down like that. Hands and feet by themselves.

At nineteen, Nick studied financial planning at university. Once he was asked to speak to students. Seven minutes were allotted for the speech. Three minutes later, the girls in the hall were crying. One of them could not stop sobbing, she raised her hand and asked: “Can I go up to the stage and hug you?”. The girl went up to Nick and began to cry on his shoulder. She said, “No one has ever told me that they love me, no one has ever told me that I am beautiful the way I am. My life has changed today."

Nick came home and announced to his parents that he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. The first thing my father asked was: “Are you thinking of graduating from university?” Then other questions arose:

Will you ride alone?

Don't know.

What will you talk about?

Don't know.

Who will listen to you?

Don't know.

One hundred attempts to rise

Ten months a year he is on the road, two months at home. He traveled to more than two dozen countries, he was heard by more than three million people - in schools, nursing homes, prisons. It happens that Nick speaks in stadiums with thousands of people. He performs about 250 times a year. Nick receives about three hundred offers for new performances a week. He became a professional speaker.

Before the start of the performance, the assistant brings Nick onto the stage and helps him get on some kind of platform so that he can be seen. Then Nick tells episodes from his everyday life. About people still staring at him on the streets. About when kids run up and ask, “What happened to you?!” He replies in a hoarse voice, "All because of the cigarettes!"

And to those who are younger, he says: “I didn’t clean my room.” What he has in place of his legs, he calls the "ham". Nick reveals that his dog loves to bite him. And then he begins to beat off a fashionable rhythm with a ham.

After that, he says: "And to be honest, sometimes you can fall like this." Nick falls face down on the table he was standing on.

And continues:

“It happens in life that you fall, and it seems that you have no strength to rise. Then you will find the strength in yourself to rise - that's the way."

He leans on his forehead, then helps himself with his shoulders and stands up.

The women in the hall begin to cry.

And Nick starts talking about gratitude to God.

I don't save anyone

- People are touched, consoled, because they see that it is harder for someone than for them?

Sometimes they say to me: “No, no! I can't imagine myself without arms and legs!" But it is impossible to compare suffering, and it is not necessary. What can I say to someone whose loved one is dying of cancer or whose parents are divorced? I don't understand their pain.

One day a twenty-year-old woman approached me. She was kidnapped when she was ten years old, made into a slave and subjected to violence. During this time, she had two children, one of them died. Now she has AIDS. Her parents don't want to talk to her. What can she hope for? She said that if she did not believe in God, she would commit suicide. Now she talks about her faith with other AIDS patients so they can hear her.

Last year I met people who had a son with no arms and no legs. The doctors said, “He will be a plant for the rest of his life. He won’t be able to walk, he won’t be able to study, he won’t be able to do anything.” And suddenly they found out about me and met me personally - another such person. And they had hope. It is important for everyone to know that he is not alone and that he is loved.

- Why did you believe in God?

I couldn't find anything else that would give me peace. Through the word of God, I learned the truth about the purpose of my life—who I am, why I live, and where I will go when I die. Without faith, nothing made sense.

There is a lot of pain in this life, so there must be absolute Truth, absolute Hope, which is above all circumstances. My hope is in heaven. If you associate your happiness with temporary things, it will be temporary.

I can tell many times when teenagers came up to me and said, “Today I looked in the mirror with a knife in my hand. It was supposed to be the last day of my life. You saved me".

A woman came up to me one day and said, “Today is my daughter's second birthday. Two years ago she listened to you and you saved her life." But I can't save myself! Only God can. What I have is not Nick's accomplishments. If not for God, I would not be here with you and would not exist in the world. I couldn't handle my trials on my own. And I thank God that my example inspires people.

- What can inspire you besides faith and family?

The smile of a friend.

Once I was informed that a terminally ill guy wanted to see me. He was eighteen years old. He was already very weak and could not move at all. I entered his room for the first time. And he smiled. It was a precious smile. I told him that I don't know how I would feel in his place, that he is my hero.

We saw each other a few more times. I asked him once: "What would you like to say to all people?" He said, "What do you mean?" I replied: “Now, if there was a camera here. And every person in the world could see you. What would you say?

He asked for time to think. Last time we talked on the phone, he was already so weak that I could not hear his voice on the phone. We spoke through his father. This guy said, “I know what I would say to all people. Try to be a milestone in someone's life story. Do something. Something to remember you."

Hug without hands

Previously, Nick fought for independence in every little thing. Now, due to the busy schedule, I began to trust more cases to the patronage worker, who helps to dress, move around and in other routine matters. Nick's childhood fears did not come true. He recently got engaged, is going to get married, and now he believes that he does not need hands to hold the heart of the bride. He no longer worries about how he will communicate with his children. The case helped. An unfamiliar two-year-old girl approached him. She saw that Nick had no hands. Then the girl put her hands behind her back and put her head on his shoulder.

Nick can't shake hands with anyone - he hugs people. And even set a world record. A guy with no arms hugged 1,749 people in an hour. He wrote a book about his life, typing 43 words per minute on a computer. Between business trips, he fishes, plays golf and surfs.

“I don’t always get up in the morning with a smile on my face. Sometimes my back hurts, - says Nick, - But, because in my principles there are great power I keep taking small steps forward, baby steps. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is the ability to act, relying not on one's own strength, but on the help of God.

Usually parents of children with disabilities get divorced. My parents are not divorced. Do you think they were scared? Yes. Do you think they trusted God? Yes. Do you think they are now seeing the fruits of their labors? Quite right.

How many people would believe if they showed me on TV and said: “This guy prayed to the Lord and he got arms and legs”? But when people see me for who I am, they are perplexed: “How can you smile?” For them, this is a visible miracle. I need my trials so that I understand how dependent on God. Other people need my testimony that "the power of God is made perfect in weakness." They look into the eyes of a man without arms and legs and see in them peace, joy - something that everyone aspires to.

Nick Vujicic is a great motivator and public speaker and speaks a lot. Watch his performances. They amaze, inspire and move to action.
Imagine that you were born without arms. There are no hands, it is impossible to hug anyone, there are no hands to feel the touch, or to take someone's hand. What about being born without legs? Not being able to dance, walk, run, or even just stand on two legs. Now combine these two scenarios together... No arms and no legs. What would you do then? How would this affect your life?
Meet Nick. He was born in 1982 in Melbourne. Without any medical explanation or warning, Nick Vuychich came into this world without arms and legs. His mother's pregnancy was going well and there was no heredity to expect such a condition. Imagine how shocked his parents were when they saw their first child, this boy, and found that he was what the world considers imperfect and abnormal. A son without limbs was not what Nurse Duska Vujicic and Pastor Boris Vujicic expected. How will their son live a normal life, happy life? What will he be able to do or become while living with what the world considers to be such a severe disability? Few thought that this pretty Baby without limbs will one day be the one to inspire and motivate people of all walks of life, touching the lives of people in all corners of the world.

As a child, Nick faced more than the usual challenges of school and adolescence, such as bullying. (translator's note: bullying is physical and / or psychological terror against a child by a group of classmates) or self-respect. He also suffered from depression and loneliness when he asked why he was different from all the children around him; why he turned out to be the one who was born without arms and legs. He often wondered what the purpose of his life was, or whether there was any purpose at all.
After a large number disappointments and the feeling that he is the only one a strange man at school, when Nick was seven years old, he tried out specially designed electronic arms, in the hope that he would be at least a little like other children. After a short trial period, Nick realized that even with his arms, he still didn't look like his classmates, and besides, in practice, they were too heavy for Nick to control, greatly affecting his mobility.

As Nick grew up, he learned to deal with his shortcomings and began to do more and more things himself. He adapted to his situation and found ways to perform many of the activities that humans can do using only their limbs, such as brushing their teeth, combing their hair, typing, swimming, exercising, and more. Over time, Nick began to take advantage of his situation and achieve great things. In the seventh grade, Nick was selected as the school's head boy and worked with the student council on projects to raise money for local charities and for disabled companies.
According to Nick, the victory in his struggle along the entire route of his journey, as well as the strength and passion he had for life, can be attributed to his faith, his family, his friends and many people he met in his life, and who supported him all the time.
After school, Nick continued his studies and received two higher education. One, as an accountant, the second - in the field of financial planning. By the age of 19, Nick began to fulfill his dream: to be able to inspire other people, give them hope through his motivational speeches and telling his story. "I have found the purpose of my existence, as well as the reason for my circumstances ... There is a reason why you are on fire." Nick truly believes that there is a reason why we face struggles in our lives and that our attitude towards those struggles is the single most effective factor in overcoming them.

In 2005, Nick received the Young Australian of the Year nomination. This award, which is very prestigious in Australia, recognizes young people for their excellence and service to their local community and their nation, as well as their individual achievements. This award is given only to truly inspiring people.
Today, at the age of 25, this limbless guy has achieved more than most people twice his age. Nick recently moved from Brisbon, Australia to California, USA, where he is president of a charity. In addition, he has his own motivational speaking company called "Attitude Is Altitude". Since his first motivational speech at age 19, Nick has traveled the world, telling his story to millions of people, speaking to different groups such as: students, teachers, youth, businessmen, entrepreneurs, church meetings different sizes. He also told his story and gave interviews to various TV companies around the world. Nick's performances go far beyond pure motivation. He had and still has the opportunity to communicate with several leaders, including, for example, the Vice President of Kenya. This year, Nick plans to perform in more than 20 countries around the world.
"People say to me, 'How can you smile?'" says Nick. They then realize that "there must be something more than what's seen at a glance if a guy with no arms and legs lives a more fulfilling life than I".

Nick talks to his audience about the importance of having your own vision and dreaming big. Using his own experience around the world as an example, he challenges others to consider their perspectives and look beyond their circumstances. He shares his point of view on how to stop looking at obstacles as a problem and instead start seeing them as an opportunity for growth, how to influence others, etc. He emphasizes the importance of our attitude and that it is the most powerful tool we have at our disposal; and also shows how the choices we make can have a profound effect on our lives and the lives of those around us.
Through his life, Nick shows that the main key to achieving our biggest dreams is consistency and the ability to use failure as an experience, as well as the ability to not let the guilt and fear of failure paralyze us.

How does Vujicic feel about his disability now? He accepted it, took advantage of it, and very often he laughs at his circumstances when he shows many of his "tricks". He meets challenges with a special sense of humor; his perseverance and faith always inspires everyone around him to get to know their perspective, to create and define their vision. Using these new definitions, he challenges every person he meets so that they can change their lives so that they can begin to fulfill their biggest dreams. With his extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life and his incredible sense of humor that captivates children, teens and adults alike, Nick is truly an inspiring and motivating speaker.

At the age of seven, Todd fell badly and broke his arm, after which it began to deform and stopped growing. He lost his leg at the age of seventeen - doctors were forced to amputate it due to knee cancer.

But Todd Key did not accept his injuries. He started to practice different types sports, eventually preferring the bicycle. Now he even takes part in professional cycling races, being the "face" of the AirparkBikes company, which created a special bike for this unusual athlete.

Of course, Todd Key does not claim prizes in cycling. His participation in such competitions is already a daily victory over himself and public opinion.

Key also gives lectures and meetings with people who have recently become disabled. By his example, he convinces them that life is not over, success awaits them ahead, but for this the main thing is not to get hung up on own problems and regularly discover new horizons.

The dance duet Hand in Hand is another proof that the absence of arms or legs is not an obstacle to achieving worldwide success in areas where it would seem impossible to do anything without these limbs.

The Hand in Hand ballet couple consists of dancers named Ma Li and Zhai Xiaowei. The girl in this duet has no arms, and the guy has no legs. But this did not stop them from creating their own successful dance show, which is applauded by the public around the world.

Each of this couple tries to compensate, to level out the injuries of their own partner with the help of their actions. And they do it very well.

John Bramblitt

American John Bramblitt can be described by a phrase that for any inhabitant of the Earth will seem to be a mutually exclusive concept. He is a blind artist, at the same time, a fairly good creator, whose paintings are exhibited even in the most famous galleries and museums in the world.

At the age of thirty, John Bramblitt lost his sight due to complications from epilepsy. At first, he practically did not leave the house, was in a state of depression and even thought about suicide. But over time, he took up painting. To do this, John managed to find relief paints, so he paints by touch.

Bramblitt's work was noticed by art agents and gallery owners. On this moment, John has had solo exhibitions in more than twenty countries around the world, and he himself is one of the most successful contemporary artists in the United States of America.

It looks like a myth, a beautiful, instructive, but unreal story. Think about it, a boy born without legs and arms, by the age of 31, is a world famous motivational speaker, a happy husband and father. Nick Vujicic has traveled half the world. He performed at the stadium, and 110 thousand people listened to him. Is it possible?

It happens. If every day you do little feat. We will tell you about 12 exploits of Nick Vujicic, thanks to which you can read in his sincere smile: “I am happy.”

Birth

One of better ways to get rid of the pain of the past is to replace it with gratitude.

December 4, 1982. Dushka Vujicic is in labor. Here is the birth of the firstborn. Husband, Boris Vuychich, is present at the birth.

The shoulder showed up. Boris turned pale and left the birth room. After a while, a doctor came up to him.

"Doctor, is my son missing an arm?" Boris asked. "No. Your son has neither arms nor legs,” the doctor replied.

Nicholas's parents (so they called the newborn) did not know anything about the Tetra-Amelia syndrome. They didn't know how to handle a baby without arms and legs. The mother did not put her son to her breast for 4 months.

Gradually, Nick's parents got used to¸ accepting and loving their son for who he is.

Childhood

Failure is the path to excellence.

Leg. So Nick called the only limb on his body. Likeness of a foot with two fused toes, subsequently separated surgically.

But Nick thinks that his "leg" is not so bad. He learned to write, print (43 words per minute), drive an electric wheelchair, push off on a skateboard.

Not everything worked right away. But, when the time came, Nick went to a regular school, along with healthy peers.

Despair

When you feel like betraying your dream, push yourself to work one more day, one more week, one more month, one more year. You'll be amazed at what happens if you don't give up.

“You can’t do anything!”, “We don’t want to be friends with you!”, “You are nobody!” Nick heard these words every day at school.

The focus shifted: he was no longer proud of what he had learned; he fixated on what he could never do. Hug your wife, take your child in your arms ...

One day, Nick asked his mother to take him to the bathroom. Driven by the thought "Why me?" the boy tried to drown himself.

"They didn't deserve this" - 10-year-old Nick realized that he could not do this to his parents, who love him very much. Suicide is not fair. Unfair to loved ones.

self-identification

Other people's words and actions cannot define your personality.

"What happened to you?!" - until Nick became world famous, this was the most frequently asked question to him.

Seeing a man without arms and legs, people do not hide the shock. Sidelong glances, whispers behind his back, grins - Nick answers everything with a smile. "It's all about the cigarettes," he says to the particularly impressionable. And he jokes about the children: “I just didn’t clean my room ...”.

Humor

Laugh as much as possible. In the life of any person there are days when troubles and hardships pour, as if from a cornucopia. Do not curse tests. Be grateful to life for giving you the opportunity to learn and develop. A sense of humor will help with this.

Nick is a big joker. There are no arms and legs - life "played" him, so why not laugh at her?

One day, Nick dressed up as a pilot and, with the permission of the airline, met passengers at the landing with the words: “Today we are testing new technology aircraft control ... and I am your pilot.

People who personally know Nick Vucic say that he has an excellent sense of humor. And this quality, as you know, excludes self-pity.

Talent

If you are deeply unhappy, then you are not living your life. Your talents are being misused.

Nick Vuychich has two higher educations: accounting and financial planning. He is a successful motivational speaker and businessman. But his main talent is the ability to convince. Including through art.

Nick's first book is called "Life without limits: Inspiration for an absurdly good life" (translated into 30 languages, published in Russian in 2012). In 2009 he played leading role in the short film "The Butterfly Circus" (IMDb rating - 8.10). A story about finding the meaning of life.

Sport

It is impossible to argue with the fact that madness is genius: anyone who is willing to take risks, in the eyes of others, appears either as a madman or a genius.

“Crazy” is what many people think when they watch Nick looking for a wave while surfing or skydiving.

“I realized that physical dissimilarity limits me only to the extent that I limit myself,” Vuychich once admitted and did not limit himself in anything.

Nick plays football, tennis, swims well.

Motivation

Consider your attitude to the world as a remote control remote control. If you don't like the program you are watching, you simply grab the remote and switch the TV to another program. It’s the same with your attitude towards life: when you are unhappy with the result, change your approach, no matter what problem you are facing.

At the age of 19, Nick was offered to speak to students at the university where he studied (Griffith University). Nicholas agreed: he went out and spoke briefly about himself. Many people in the audience were crying, and one girl went up on stage and hugged him.

The young man understood that oratory was his vocation.

Nick Vuychich traveled to 45 countries, met with 7 presidents, spoke to thousands of spectators. Every day, he receives dozens of requests for interviews and invitations to speak. Why do people want to listen to it?

Because his performances are not reduced to the banal: “Are you in trouble? Yes, look at me - no arms, no legs, that's who has problems!

Nick understands that suffering cannot be compared, everyone has their own pain, and does not try to cheer up people, they say, “compared to me, everything is not so bad with you.” He just talks to them.

Embrace

I have no hands, and when you hug, you press right against the hearts. This is amazing!

Nick confesses that since he was born without arms, he never missed them. The only thing he lacks is a handshake. He cannot shake hands with anyone.

But he found a way. Nick hugs people... with his heart. Once Vuychich even arranged a hugging marathon - 1749 people in a day, hugged by the heart.

Love

If you are open to love, love will come. If you surround your heart with a wall, there will be no love.

They met on April 11, 2010. The beautiful Kanae Miyahara has a boyfriend, Nick has no arms or legs. It's not love at first sight. It's just love. Real, deep.

On February 12, 2012, Nick and Kanae got married. Everything is as it should be: White dress, tuxedo and honeymoon in Hawaii.

Family

It is impossible to live life to the fullest if every decision you make is driven by fear. Fear will keep you from moving forward and prevent you from becoming who you want to be. But it's just a mood, a feeling. Fear is not real!

Tetra-Amelia syndrome is hereditary. Nick wasn't scared.

Hope

All good things in life start with hope.

Nick Vuychich is a man without arms and legs. Nick Vujicic is a man who believes in miracles. There is a pair of boots in his linen closet. So… just in case. After all, in life there is always room for something more.
