From the outside, it looks as if the psychologist, answering questions from different people, gets confused in the testimony and contradicts himself.

The same questions are sometimes given completely mutually exclusive answers, and this greatly confuses listeners / readers. The same effect exists in individual work, but there it is still easier to overcome apparent contradictions and show the interconnection of different levels of understanding.

If you have even a vague memory of geometry lessons, then the easiest way to illustrate this topic is using the example of spaces with a different number of dimensions.

Remember those little "paradoxes" when going from 2D to 3D? Parallel lines that never intersect on a plane may well turn out to be perpendicular to each other in a three-dimensional space, and in a more multidimensional space they can even tie into a knot, remaining all the same straight and parallel in one of their projections onto the plane.

This is where the apparent contradiction arises: at a simple (flat) level of perception, the answer is always simple and obvious, but as soon as we begin to delve into the understanding of the nature of things, the answers become more and more paradoxical. But, as in geometry, there is really no contradiction, the only question is whether the interlocutors understand how many dimensions are being discussed at the moment.

Now about the same in more detail in a psychological context.

There is an opinion, which is in good agreement with practice, that different people are born with different initial levels of maturity. In Indian tradition, this is reflected in the caste system, which assumes that each person belongs to the social stratum in which he was born. In the West and in many other cultures, the division into aristocracy and mere mortals is similar.

Obviously, it's not about genetics or even upbringing. In a family of uneducated poor people, a king in spirit may well be born, and there is no need to remind how many degenerates of royal blood have been in human history. Perhaps there is some correlation between the origin and the initial level of maturity of consciousness, but the relationship is definitely not direct. That is, all we can talk about is the very fact of some innate difference.

It can also be assumed that during life there is some progress on the scale of maturity. But the pace of this development is rather low, since the main driving force here is sharp collisions with life, forcing a person to rethink his deepest attitudes and views.

But no one seeks such clashes of their own free will. Moreover, it is quite natural for us to avoid such collisions, and the way of our modern life with its comfort and safety allows us to solve this problem without much difficulty. As a result, there are not so many reasons for development, and in many cases - if not most - people remain at their initial stage of maturity.

Personal maturity

One-dimensional (rudimentary) consciousness. The simplest and most infantile form of consciousness. A person of this type is characterized by unambiguous and therefore extremely primitive judgments about life. Perception is rough, emotional reactions are polar (black and white), there is no aesthetic sense.

In a certain sense, these people are happy, because they do not have many reasons and opportunities to create any kind of internal conflict. In their life, everything is simple and clear - you need to work, you need to have fun, you need to give birth to children, you need to die. There is nothing to doubt, nothing to argue about - they are completely convinced of their own position in life and are not going to change it.

Being at this level of maturity, a person is content with the simplest pleasures of life and does not expect any great accomplishments. This is a classic type of a simple and earthly wise villager who has a lot of household chores and no personal ambitions. He just lives day by day, just like his parents and grandparents lived.

He doesn't need anything else. But this is not the simplicity and naturalness that a Zen adept comes to at the very peak of insight. The simplicity of a single-celled consciousness is still closer to primitiveness, to the inability to accommodate anything more, the embodiment of ignorance.

These people never have questions about the nature of being. They generally have very few questions, because the answers are always obvious to them. For the same reason, they do not have a single reason to seek help from psychologists or even confessors - life itself puts everything in its place. And where there are no questions, no answers are needed, so the problem of explanation and understanding at this level is completely absent.

In a geometric metaphor, one-dimensional space implies that there can be no talk of any parallel lines here. There is only one straight line here, so there are no questions, doubts and problems. Most likely, this is the most protracted stage, because without conflict there is no development.

Two-dimensional (neurotic) consciousness. The level of consciousness of an ordinary average citizen. These people live entirely in the world of dogmas and stereotypes. Conformists - the opinion of the majority for them the law. Tastes and aesthetic preferences are averagely ordinary, corresponding to the market situation.

The parallel lines of good and evil never intersect at this level. Hence and great amount internal contradictions and conflicts - mental chaos does not fit into the Procrustean bed of primitive and one-sided views.

Relatively speaking, this state of mind a man of the pre-Freudian era, when the average layman did not have the slightest idea that he had unconscious mental processes. And their main suffering is caused by the discrepancy between “flat” conscious ideas and “voluminous” processes and motives inherent in the unconscious.

A classic example from the psychoanalytic tradition is the case of a young woman who became psychotic due to a conflict between her conscious attitude and her feelings at a deeper level. The demand to love and care for his father collided with a sense of relief that arose at the time of his death after a long and exhausting illness for everyone. The contradiction between what she was supposed to feel and what she actually felt led her to a psychiatric hospital.

Accordingly, work on the development of consciousness at this level takes place in the direction of opening a new dimension for a person - the sphere of his unconscious feelings and motives. This is a gradual transition from a flat perception of life and internal space to a three-dimensional one.

You can imagine that quantum leap in consciousness when the usual cozy two-dimensional world turns out to be just a dotted projection of a dark and frightening three-dimensional space. The whole world is turned upside down at this moment. What was simple, understandable and unambiguous yesterday is no longer so. Behind every superficial motive, there is always something deeper and often quite unsightly. Familiar landmarks are lost, and new ones have not yet been formed. Chaos, shock and awe.

Three-dimensional (recovering) consciousness. Parallel lines of habitual values at this level often turn out to be perpendicular to each other. This state of affairs requires much greater flexibility of the mind and working memory, capable of accommodating a three-dimensional perception of inner reality.

At this stage of development, a person, albeit reluctantly, nevertheless recognizes that the center of gravity of the mental apparatus is not where it has always been supposed. Previously unconscious feelings and reactions are now becoming more and more obvious, but there is no reconciliation with them. The selfish consciousness is still struggling to pull the blanket over itself and tries to stay in power.

On the one hand, a person now recognizes that his motives are far from being as pure as it is declared at the level of personal consciousness, on the other hand, the old tendency to fight with oneself is still preserved. The main internal conflict remains unaffected, and on the part of the ego for a long time attempts to subjugate the unconscious with its bestial instincts still do not stop.

However, already at this stage, the process of individuation slowly begins - release and separation from the crowd. A person understands his nature more and more deeply, and this finally gives him the opportunity and reason to listen to his own opinion and begin to form his own taste in life.

His views for a long time still remain within the framework of generally accepted standards, but more and more often he gets the feeling that these standards are too small for him. And a sharpened mind and a more subtle perception now constantly come across a still vague guess that in addition to the three already known dimensions, there is probably also a fourth - God, Self, Fate, Nature ... something that has so far remained behind the scenes, but actually directed everything that happens around.

Multidimensional (healthy) consciousness. The stage of reconciliation with oneself and subsequent self-denial. The personal "I" at this level continues its normal functioning, with the only difference being that it is no longer preoccupied with its own drama. Some internal conflicts still remain, but they no longer have the former bitterness. Resting against the boundaries of knowledge, the mind burns out and hangs out a white flag - now it no longer matters whether the lines are parallel or not.

Views on life are becoming more and more uncertain, faith in the infallibility of universal mechanics is gradually turning into a deep conviction, which means that there are fewer reasons for anxiety and mental confusion. Everything goes on as usual and exactly as it should go, even if the stereotypes preserved in the memory scream that this is the road to hell.

A person comes to a frightening, but at the same time liberating conclusion that, by and large, there is no way to accurately understand one's own motives - they simply are. And in the same way it is impossible to understand how life works - it also simply exists. The only unshakable fact is the fact of being itself. Everything else is just speculation and concepts.

The world is still perceived as dualistic, but the boundaries of right and wrong, good and evil are increasingly blurred. It becomes obvious that the only objective reference point in assessing the surrounding reality is one's own subjective sensation. The objective and the subjective change places - now there is nothing more objective than the subjective.

The result of a series of these transformations is loneliness without a drop of regret and freedom without a drop of fear. The process of individuation can be considered complete - a person is finally affirmed in being himself, with all his oddities, and getting the maximum pleasure from this.

However, the last fly in the ointment remains: a vague feeling that being yourself on a personal level does not mean being yourself in an absolute sense. Reconciliation with your demons and awareness of your complete subordination to the divine will raises the last question - who am I, who is God, where is the border between the first and second, and will it not turn out that there is no border, and the first is identical to the second?

Immeasurable (awakened) consciousness. We will not sing this song, because we do not know its words ... but we will say a few words anyway.

If a fish asked how to be a fish, we would understand without a shadow of a doubt the whole anecdote of this question. But when a human asks how to be a human, we become philosophical and intellectually inferior in our inability to provide a comprehensive academic answer.

Following our spatial metaphor, we can try to imagine the perception of the world with an infinite number of dimensions. The task seems insurmountably difficult, but this is the very intellectual trap with the question of how to be human. Does a person have the slightest possibility of not being one? What can a person do to stop being a person?

It is the same with our consciousness: can it be anything other than itself? And if in its final or original form it is immeasurable and limitless, then how could it cease to be so even for a moment? Obviously, it could not, which means that our usual everyday consciousness is It.

The trick is that for many years our attention was stuck to the screen with pictures, and sincere empathy for the protagonist overshadowed the perception of a larger reality. We see the film, but we no longer see the screen on which it is being shown. How good book makes us forget about business, sleep and hunger, so the story about ourselves, which we have been watching for decades, makes us forget about our true nature. But no one ever stopped being himself. A God who plays chess is still God... even if he loses the game with a bang.

Levels of misunderstanding

Now let's take a simple, vital question and see how it can be answered at different levels of understanding. Suppose there is some kind of controversial situation where you need to make some kind of choice, and this choice does not seem easy. The content of the situation itself does not concern us. It can be a problem at work, a conflict in a relationship, a choice of your path in life, and anything else - the answer will be the same anyway.

At the very first level, the answer to the question is: “What to do and how to live further?”- will be something like this: "Do what is easier and more convenient, avoid responsibility - be closer to the kitchen, away from the authorities." This is a completely sound and wise position, and, most likely, there are enough people in your environment who adhere to it and are not going to change it.

At the second level, some self-awareness is already required, and the answer to the same question is: “Live according to your conscience, be a reasonable person, make decisions and take responsibility - your life is in your hands and it is up to you to decide how you will live it!” And again, a perfectly sound and justified position.

There are even more such "conscious" neurotic people in our environment, because they are the backbone of our society. It is at this level that the main social stereotypes are formed and strengthened, which one has to face and fight at the next stage.

At the third level, the answer looks like this: "Life is one, so being happy is more important than being good - stop looking at others, be honest with yourself, do as you see fit, and take full responsibility for your choice."

A deep awareness of this view of life is less common, because it requires a certain courage and inner strength. But if a person takes root in this position, many doors open for him that were previously closed. Social success, healthy relationships, inner balance and all other earthly pleasures become available only from this level of maturity.

At the fourth level, the answer is again transformed: “There is really no question of how to act - there is only a pause between the emergence of a situation of choice and the moment when the choice will be made outside of consciousness. There is no point in filling this pause with anxiety, doubts and reflections - at the right moment the decision will come by itself in a finished form, and we can only bear responsibility for the choice we have made.

Such an answer is much more difficult to digest, since the price that you have to pay here becomes your own personality - the same main character, empathy for which made us leave paradise and descend to sinful earth. At this stage, the usual landmarks are lost, and life turns into the very river along which either friends or enemies float, sometimes pleasant events, sometimes unpleasant. The price is high but the condition happy prosperity worth it.

At the last level, the answer is as simple as at the first: "Watch a movie, eat popcorn." At this stage, there is no longer a question, no answer, no questioner, no answerer, there is only the total functioning of the universe, in which we are simultaneously the director behind the scenes, and the actor on the stage, and the spectator in the hall. An endless dream in which we will dream of ourselves with great pleasure.

So it turns out: the question is one - the answers are different. Even worse, the answers contradict each other and seem to create even more confusion. But in reality, there is no contradiction between them, and the answer is the same every time - only the interpretation or level of simplification is different.

Every time, at any level of understanding, we are talking about the same thing - about trusting ourselves and our judgments, without any regard for how deep our delusions may be at the moment. But even this recommendation is, in essence, absurd, since it is just another piece of advice for a fish to remain a fish.

We cannot be anything or anyone other than ourselves. Freedom and the courage to be yourself is not a heroic achievement, but the most banal thing in the world. The false drama of fighting for yourself is just an attempt to escape from the unflattering truth about yourself and your real priorities.

We can fool ourselves as much as we like that we do not have the courage to live our own way, but the truth is that we cannot live in any other way than “our own way” - we just don't have the heart to admit that all our lives, moment by moment, we lived exactly as we wanted to.

An obvious manifestation of this problem with different levels of explanation is the confusion that occurs when the text deals with the problem from one level of understanding, and the reader tries to comprehend it from some other.

A person who lives comfortably at the level of a “flat” neurotic consciousness will not understand at all what the article is about if the problem is considered “in volume” there. For him, the text will seem like complete nonsense. Similarly, and vice versa - to a mature person, some of the other articles will seem too rough simplification, because they were originally aimed at a different reader.

So as you read articles and listen to seminars, keep this in mind. general scheme and try to keep track at what level and for whom in this case the story is going on.

David Hawkins (David R. Hawkins) in his book "Force against Violence" described the hierarchy of levels of human consciousness. This is a very interesting approach. If you read the book, it will be very easy for you to understand where you are in this hierarchy, based on your current life situation.

These levels, from bottom to top: shame, guilt, apathy, grief, fear, desire, anger, pride, courage, neutrality, willingness, acceptance, intelligence, love, joy, peace, enlightenment.
Although you may shift from one level to another over time, you usually have a predominantly “normal” state. If you're reading this blog, you're probably at least at the courage level, because at lower levels you wouldn't have a conscious interest in personal development.

I will go through these levels in order, focusing on the ones between bravery and intelligence, since that is where you are most likely to be. The level names were invented by Hawkins. The descriptions of each level are based on its description, but supplemented by my thoughts. Hawkins talks about a logarithmic scale: there are far fewer people at the top levels than at the bottom. Each transition from a low level to a higher one is accompanied by a significant change in life.

Shame - one step to death. You're probably contemplating suicide here. Or you - Serial killer. In other words, it is self-directed hatred.

Guilt is a level above shame, but you may have suicidal thoughts. You think of yourself as a sinner and cannot forgive yourself for past actions.

Apathy - feeling hopeless or torturing yourself. Full conviction in their helplessness. Many homeless people are stuck on this level.

Grief is the level of endless sadness and loss. You can get here after the loss of a loved one. Depression. Still higher than apathy, because. you start to get rid of the numbness.

Fear - the world seems dangerous and unreliable. Paranoia. Usually you need help to rise above this level or you will remain trapped for a long time, such as in an “overwhelming” relationship.

Desire - not yet burdened with setting and achieving goals, this is the level of desire, bad habits and passion - for money, approval, power, fame, etc. ... Consumption. Materialism. This is the level of smoking, alcohol and drugs.

Anger is the level of disappointment, often due to the inability to fulfill desires born at the previous level. This level can spur you to action at higher levels, or make you drown in hatred. In "suppressive" relationships (marriage, work, ...) you can often see a couple: one is overwhelmed with anger, the other with fear.

Pride is the first level where you start to feel good, but this is a false feeling. It depends on the external environment (money, prestige, …) and is therefore vulnerable. Pride can lead to nationalism, racism and religious wars. Remember the Nazis. The level of irrational self-denial and self-defense. Religious fundamentalists also belong to this level. You become so attached to your faith that you perceive any attack on your picture of the world as an attack on yourself.

Courage is the first level of true strength. My previous post on this topic: Courage is the key. (Courage is the Gateway) This is where you start to see that life is full of challenges and exciting, and not overwhelming at all. You have a hint of interest in personal development, although at this level you would probably refer to it as skill development, career development, promotion, education, etc. You begin to see your future as growth relative to the past, and not just as a continuation of it.

Neutrality - it can be described by the phrase "live yourself and let live". A flexible, relaxed and unencumbered life. Whatever happens, you get out. You don't need to prove anything to anyone. You feel safe and get along well with people. Many self-employed people are at this level. A very comfortable place. This is the level of contentment and laziness. You take care of your needs, but you don't stress.

Willingness - When you feel safe and comfortable, you begin to use your energy more effectively. Just making ends meet doesn't seem like a good idea anymore. You pay attention to work well, maybe even show your best results. You think about time management, productivity, and self-organization, in terms that weren't all that important at the level of neutrality. This is the level of development of will and discipline. Such people are the “soldiers” of our society; they do their job and don't complain too much. If you are at school, you are a really good student; you take your lessons seriously and invest time in doing it well. This is the level where consciousness becomes more organized and disciplined.

Acceptance - Now a powerful shift is taking place and you are awakening to the possibilities of a proactive life. At the readiness level, you have become competent, and now you want to find your abilities good use. This is the level of setting and achieving goals. I don't really like the label "acceptance" that Hawkins uses here, but essentially it means that you begin to accept (take on) responsibility for your role in this world. If something in life is not in order (career, health, relationships), you determine the desired state and achieve it. You begin to see the full picture of your life more clearly. This level encourages many people to change careers, start new business Or take care of your diet.

Intelligence (reason) - at this level you transcend the emotional aspects lower levels and you begin to think clearly and rationally. Hawkins defines it as the level of medicine and science. As I see it: when you reach this level, you have the ability to use the abilities of the mind to its full potential. You now have the discipline and proactivity to fully express your innate abilities. You get to the point where you say, “Great. I can do it all and I know that I must find it correct application. So what is the best way to use my talents?”. You look around and start doing things that are significant to the world. In its limit, this is the level of Einstein and Freud. Obviously, most people never reach it in their lifetime.

Love (love) - I don't like the label of Hawkins "love" here, because it is not the emotion of "love". It is unconditional love, the constant understanding of your connection with all that exists. Think compassion. On an intellectual level, your life works for the head. But in the end it turns out to be a dead end, you fall into a trap where there is too much intelligence. You see that you need a wider context than just thinking for yourself. At the level of love, your head and all other talents begin to work for the heart (not for emotions, but for a greater sense of good and evil - for your consciousness). As I see it, this is the level of awakening for its true purpose. Your motives on this level are pure and uncorrupted by the passions of your ego. This is the level of lifelong service to humanity. Remember Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Albert Schweitzer. At this level, you begin to be guided by forces greater than yourself. This is a feeling of release. Intuition becomes extremely powerful. Hawkins claims that only 1 in 250 people reach this level in their lifetime.

Joy is a feeling of penetrating and unshakable happiness. Eckhart Tolle talks about it in his lecture The Power of Now. This is the level of saints and advanced spiritual teachers. At this level, you will feel amazing just being around people. Here life is completely governed by intuition and coincidences. There is no more need for goals and detailed plans - your expanded consciousness allows you to operate with higher concepts. Events close to death can temporarily elevate you to this level.

Peace (peace) is complete transcendence. Hawkins assures that one in 10 million reaches this level.

Enlightenment is the highest level of human consciousness, where humanity is combined with divinity. Extremely rare. This is the level of Krishna, Buddha and Jesus. Even thinking about people from this level can raise your consciousness.

I'm sure you will like this model worth it to think about it. Not only people, but also objects, events, and even entire communities can be evaluated on these levels. In your life, you can see that different parts of it are at different levels, but you can determine your current overall level. Perhaps you are at the level of neutrality, but you have a tendency to smoke (desire level). The lower levels that you may find in yourself act like a drug that drags you down. But you can find higher levels in your life. You can be at the level of acceptance, but read a book at the level of intelligence and feel really inspired. Think about what is having a strong impact on your life right now. What is it that lifts your consciousness? What brings him down?

I also like this scale of levels of consciousness because I can look back at my life and look at my growth on this scale. I remember being stuck on the guilt level for a long time—as a child, I lived with the belief that I was a hopeless sinner, judged by someone else's standards of love and beyond. From there, I grew to the level of apathy, and the whole world made me numb. In high school, I reached a level of pride - I was an honors student, captain of the Academic Decathlon team, worthy of praise and awards, but I became addicted to all this. Closer to my 20s, I got to the level of courage, but the courage was not focused, and because of this, I got serious problems. Then I spent about a year in neutrality and from 20 to 30 I went through willingness and acceptance with great conscious effort. I am now at the intellectual level and getting closer and closer to making the leap to love. I experience the state of love more and more often, and it already controls many of my decisions, but has not yet become my permanent state. I also experienced a state of joy for several days in a row, but it has never been permanent. This state is a pervasive feeling of natural euphoria, as if there is an explosion of positive energy inside me. It literally makes me smile. I've been in this state since morning, perhaps because I haven't eaten anything yet today (It's easier for me to experience this state of consciousness when I eat little or nothing.)

Usually we move between several levels during the week, maybe you will see 3-4 levels where you spend most of your time. There is one way to find out your current current level - think about how you behave during times of stress. If you squeeze an orange, it will pour Orange juice because he's inside. What comes out of you when you're under pressure external circumstances? Do you become paranoid and withdraw into yourself (fear)? Do you start yelling at people (anger)? Are you getting defensive (pride)? What happens to me is that under pressure I become hyper-analytical, but the other day I just had a situation that I solved almost with the help of intuition, and for me it was a big step. It means to me that I'm getting closer to the state unconditional love, because at this level one can use intuition even under pressure.

Everything in your environment affects yours. TV. Movies. Books. Web sites. People. Places. Objects. Food. If you are at the level of intelligence and watch TV news (which, by definition, is at the level of fear and desire), it will temporarily lower your consciousness. If you are at the level of guilt, then TV news will, on the contrary, increase it.

The transition from the previous level to the next requires monstrous energy. I wrote about this earlier when I discussed Quantum Leap. Without your conscious effort or the help of other people, you will most likely remain at your current level until some external force won't interfere with your life.

Pay attention to the natural sequence of levels and think about what might happen if you try to speed up the process. If you try to reach a level of intelligence before mastering discipline (readiness) and goal setting (acceptance), you will be too disorganized and unfocused to fully use your brain. If you try to advance yourself to the level of love before mastering the intellect, you may suffer from trust and get stuck in some sect.

Getting to each next level can be extremely difficult; for most people, this does not happen in their entire lives. A change of just one level can radically change everything in your life. Therefore, it is unlikely that people below the level of courage will progress without outside help. Courage is needed to wisely walk this path; it is needed to constantly argue with reality for a chance to become more intelligent and conscious. But once you reach the next level, you realize that the argument was worth it. For example, when you reach the level of courage, all your old fears and false pride become stupid for you. When you reach the level of acceptance (setting and achieving goals), you look back at the level of readiness and see that you were like a squirrel in a wheel - you were a good runner, but you did not choose a direction.

It seems to me that the most important work we can do as human beings is to raise our personal level of consciousness. When we do this, we are spreading higher levels of consciousness to everyone around us. Imagine how amazing this world would be if we could just raise everyone to the level of acceptance. Hawkins claims that 85% of the people on Earth live below the level of courage.

When you temporarily experience the state of higher levels, you can see where you should go. You have one of those moments of insight when you realize that it is worth changing in life. But when you drown in the lower levels, these memories are obscured by fog.

We should intelligently return ourselves to the sources that will help us make the next leap. Each step requires different solutions. I remember when I went from neutral to ready, I listened to time management tapes almost every day. I immersed myself in sources created by people at the level of readiness until I was there myself. But a book on time management won't do any good for a person at the level of pride: he will reject the idea and become defensive. On the other hand, time management means nothing to a person of love level. But you will not be able to reach the higher levels until you have mastered the basic disciplines. Jesus was a carpenter. Gandhi is a lawyer. Buddha is a prince. We all need to start somewhere.

Look openly at this hierarchy and consider whether it has given you a new understanding of what will help you make the next leap in your life? No level is considered more right or wrong than the others. Try not to allow your ego to get attached to any particular level. Of course, only if you are not at the level of pride now :)

Subconscious level

The subconscious is so called due to the fact that this concept denotes processes that lie below or deeper than our conscious reality. If you look, we are aware of a very small part of the events that happen to us. Even looking at the beautiful creation of some artistic genius, we do not analyze the process of contemplation, we simply contemplate. And our uncontrolled subconscious processes allow us to absorb all the beauty of the picture. In other words, we feel. As a poet once put it, we feel, therefore we are human.

Music also affects our subconscious, I assure you, as an experienced composer. When properly listened to, music becomes healing, unifying our levels of consciousness around the process of listening. Since ancient times, music has been revered as a divine message, endowing it with magical and mystical properties. IN modern world it has not lost its meaning, but has acquired even greater meaning and scientific basis. After all, my first dissertation was devoted specifically to music therapy, in which I prove that if you create music correctly, then it becomes healing.

Once, after a concert, a woman approached me with a ten-year-old daughter. But it turned out that it was the daughter who brought her mother to thank me for my music. It turned out that in three months the girl turned from a lagging student into an excellent student, covering all her shortcomings and catching up with her classmates in all subjects. And here's what happened. The girl studied generally well, but gradually began to feel tired as soon as she sat down to do her homework. She did not finish it, left it for later, and soon began to fall behind the program. So month after month, many shortcomings accumulated, and the student's health became worse. One day, my mother went to a music store and saw a disc with my album “Energy of Thought”. She just decided to buy this disc without thinking, she just wanted to do it. But when she got home, she did not even unpack the disc, putting it on the shelf.

My daughter accidentally discovered the disc when she came home from school and wanted to listen to this music. Since she had homework to do, she decided to combine the two processes and, leaving the music playing softly, began her work. After a few minutes, the girl felt that her task was somehow faster and easier. She did so the next day, and throughout the school week. Gradually, her performance began to rise, she caught up with her classmates in her studies and even began to overtake the excellent students. Mom was confused, not knowing what to think, because it already seemed that the situation was hopeless. How surprised she was when she found out that music helped her daughter.

And you should not look for some kind of magic in this story, everything is explained by the work of the subconscious. Music set the girl's brain in a certain way for productive cognitive work, which was reflected in the quality of her studies. Certain resources were awakened that allowed the student to be effective. Of course, not only music can be such a stimulant. The Matrix of Life tells us many ways, which we will discuss in detail below.

Subconscious processes have a certain degree of automatism, which allows us not to waste our time and attention on controlling these processes. Getting a new skill, for example, driving a car, we spend a lot of effort at the very beginning, much less towards the end of training, and soon stop wasting energy altogether. Drivers with a solid skill can drive a car in a completely relaxed way. After all, the main control over the driving process is carried out from the subconscious, no matter how strange it may seem. The range of control, thanks to the abilities of the subconscious, is very wide, starting with eating, when we do not follow the spoon or fork, directing food into the mouth. And up to the thought processes, when we do very complex calculations automatically, including the reading process.

We owe the possession of all these abilities to our subconscious, which tends to be programmed, and we can positively control this process. We will talk about this in a special chapter.

Conscious level

As I already mentioned, the conscious level is responsible for a very small range of operations in the processes of our lives. Distinctive feature consciousness is that it cannot be programmed. Everything that happens on a conscious level can be attributed to the processes of thinking: setting a task, formulating a goal, choosing a way to achieve it, etc. If you evaluate your acquaintances from this point of view, then there will be not so many conscious people, I conducted research in training groups. Most of the time, people live following some kind of automatism or program, when it's not that they don't want to be aware of their actions, but sometimes they don't need to be. Going to work, we do not need to control ourselves, we can mentally be in a different place. We can type text even despite the keyboard, count and write, as well as talk and press buttons, all this we do without much conscious effort.

Since this level is not of interest to us in terms of revealing the topic of programming, having mentioned it, we will go directly to the subconscious. However, our conscious level will be involved so that we can more clearly understand how to extract the greatest benefit of their hidden potentialities.

Evolution of consciousness and levels of human development. David Hawkins.

1. Introduction. Briefly: what kind of lecture is this, what will I talk about and what is the value?

The fact is that at the last seminars Kovalev S.V. brought a completely new model of levels of consciousness, which, like the last puzzle, perfectly fit into the harmonious model of 4 levels of human development.

This model, as well as many others, was modestly borrowed from the American psychiatrist David Hawkins, who is now a world-famous spiritual teacher who has experienced enlightenment.

This is a brilliant work, a model that really opens your eyes to so many things.

Without modesty, this model is magnificent, it is simple, understandable and very visual.

In addition, this model has excellent practical applications in everyday life and in psychotherapy.

We will cover all this here in this videocast.

I guarantee that viewing this material and applying it at least in small ways is guaranteed to raise the level of your consciousness.

2. Model of levels of development and evolution of human consciousness.

Let's first define the terminology. attractor, from the word attract - to attract, this is a kind of field, one might say, egregor, which is like a field of consciousness at the moment.

Level of consciousness not to be confused with intelligence, IQ, or emotional intelligence. The level of consciousness is determined by the attractor to which consciousness strives.

I will not first give a model of 4 levels of development (adaptation, socialization, existentialization, transpersonalization):

Here I give a map of the evolution of consciousness according to the 4 levels of development.

Explanation: The levels of consciousness are given on a logarithmic scale ranging from 1 to 1000. 1 means existence as such (bacteria), and 1000 is the highest level of development of consciousness in the physical body (Jesus, Buddha, Krishna).

The term “logarithmic” means that the transition to each new level allows you to open completely new horizons, realities that are several orders of magnitude higher than the previous ones.

Let's detail:

ILevel, Adaptation.

The following attractors are subject here:

Level shame, shame, humiliation has a level of consciousness of only 20 points;

Next level guilt, reproaches, self-punishment, accusations, masochism. 30 points.

Apathy, despair, sadness, the world is dim, helplessness, heaviness. 50 points.

Woe, sadness, loss, longing, regret. 75 points.

If we generalize this level, then it can be called “destruction and rejection of oneself.”

This ends the level of adaptation and we move on to the level of socialization.

IILevel, Socialization.

Fear, anxiety, anxiety fear. Level 100

wishes, thirst, envy, needs, instincts, Wishlist, addictions - 125 points.

Anger, hatred, dissatisfaction of desires, rage - 150 points.

Pride, contempt, CSF - 175 points.

This level of consciousness ends the level of socialization. It may seem strange, but it is these attractors that allow a person to successfully fit into society, social framework, work, achieve success, have material wealth.

But behind the level of pride lies a dangerous turn - if you do not go further, to higher levels of consciousness, then there is a chance from pride to fall into shame and disgrace.

In general, the level up to 200 is a predatory, destructive level of consciousness. 80% of all mankind lives at the level of consciousness below 200, this is the position of OT life, i.e. run away from fear, problems. Survival. Physical survival, emotional pleasures, self-interest, identification with the ego and body, survival instincts.

Going to level 200 and above is a kind of quantum leap. As I said above, this scale is logarithmic and means that even a small increase in consciousness of 10-20 points is accompanied by serious insights and rethinking.

Level up to 200 is destruction. After 200 - this is creation and real strength.

Another very important and interesting study is in the book of Hawkins.

It's amazing, but with a jump of 200 points, physiology changes!

A person under 200 first perceives something, then reacts emotionally, and then the intellect turns on! Those. a person first beats, yells, fights, hides, and so on - and then justifies to himself why he did this.

A person of strength above 200 perceives something, then the information enters the intellect, and only then the method of emotional reaction is chosen.

Or more:

Only 15% considered themselves subjectively happy at the level up to 200, but by the level of consciousness 200-300 this share increases to 60%!

Indicator score up to 200 Above 200
Subjective feeling of happiness 15% 60%
Unemployment 50% 8%
Poverty 22% 1,5%
Crime 50% 9%

The seeming energy force of animal origin must be replaced by Divine Power.

IIILevel, suprasocial, existentialization.

Courage, courage, willingness, ability to overcome difficulties - 200.

Neutrality, allowing to live the way you want and to live the way others want - 250.

readiness, optimism, - 310.

Adoption, forgiveness, emotional peace, refusal to change the world - 350.

To summarize, this level can be called as follows: taking responsibility for one’s life, understanding that problems are given to us as a way to grow up, abandoning the position of the victim and looking for the guilty, getting out of emotional manipulations in the position Above them (not to be confused with pride) , while unemotional acceptance.

If at the level up to 200 negative emotions dominate, then at the level from 200 to 350 positive emotions dominate.

IVLevel, Postsocial, transpersonalization.

Intelligence, comprehension, intelligence, level Nobel laureates, cold - 400.

Love. Absolute - 500.

Joy, goodness, ecstasy, compassion - 540.

Harmony, ecstasy - 600.

At this stage, it is already quite difficult to describe these states intelligibly in words. If the mind can still be somehow denoted as the level of, for example, Einstein, then when moving to level 500 (which Enstein did not do), absolute love arises, i.e. shift from the assemblage point from the mind to the heart. This is the level of absolute happiness associated with the release of endorphins (and not adrenaline, as in levels up to 200). Next comes the levels of enlightenment and healing.

Often experience clinical death allows people to experience energy levels around 600.

Only 0.4% of all people are at the level of 540.

Above this, there are already levels of awareness of Divinity, Consciousness of God, understanding of one's true essence.

At the moment, there are six people on the planet who are at the level of 600 and above.

Action at level 600 and above perceived as slow, stretched in time and space. Everything around is alive, radiant and continuously flowing, unfolding in a perfectly controlled evolutionary dance.

Important clarification: a person is, as it were, “smeared” over these levels, there is no such individual who would always be at level 1 or under the influence of only one attractor.

Firstly, a person can be fragmented by areas of life - health, love and sex, money, work, relationships.

Secondly, a person can sometimes rise to higher levels of consciousness, but if he is under the influence of lower ones, they will sooner or later “pull him off” from there (maybe for a long time, or maybe not for a long time).

3. Practical application in life and psychotherapy.

The most beautiful feature of mixing this model with the system of psychotherapy is that using the tools of psychotherapy you can raise your level of consciousness quite quickly (according to the same data given in Hawkins books, the level of consciousness of an average person in ordinary life increases by only 5 points! )

Kinesiology.

The fact is that Hawkins warns that subjects using the kinesiology method should have a level of consciousness more level 200, otherwise the answers may not be plausible!

For self-assessment, you can use the O-ring test.

The thumb and middle fingers of one hand are connected in a ring, and the index finger of the other hand is used to open them.

The critical point is level 200. Anything above 200 makes the muscle tense and resist, anything below it relaxes.

What can we check?

  • Past and present.
  • People, politicians, leaders, spiritual teachers.
  • Music.
  • Films, performances.
  • Books.
  • social movements.
  • Countries.
  • Thoughts, ideas.
  • Your state of health.

For example, something that received a score less than 200:

  • News and television.
  • Stopham.
  • Male movement.
  • Ku Klux Klan
  • Hitler
  • Stalin

Application in psychotherapy.

These O-ring tests are certainly spectacular, but they are unlikely to help cure your neurosis (even if you read the New Testament and listen to Bach every day).

Therefore, we can work with the level of adaptation on this model, taking as an undesirable state where you constantly fall into, into which state. At the same time, lay it out according to the same Mercedes-SK model.

And for the desired state, take the level of the third reality- courage, readiness, acceptance, neutrality, with detailed description the same.

4. Important conclusions and principles.

The level of people's consciousness rose slowly. At the time of the birth of the Buddha, the collective consciousness of all mankind was at the level of 90. Then it rose to 100 by the time of the birth of Jesus Christ and over the next two millennia slowly developed to 190; it remained at this level for many centuries, until the end of the 1980s. Then in the late 1980s, it suddenly rose from 190 to 204-205, where it remained until November 2003, when it suddenly rose again to its present level of 207. At present, the consciousness of approximately 78% of all humanity is below the 200 level.

Even well-known professors, doctors of sciences can be below 200.

In any case, it's best to set transition goals beyond 200. Transition levels beyond 400 - 500 will require tremendous work on yourself. At the same time, already after 200, a person has an inner Spirit, a willingness to solve his problems.

If you were at level 20-50 (shame, apathy, grief, etc.) and were able to move to levels 100-150(aggression, desire, anger), then this is an indicator of growth! Somehow, despite the still present negative emotions- these attractors are stronger in their strength, but at the same time, you can’t fall into a trap, because you can live your whole life on these attractors.

In a practical example, this is expressed as follows: a young guy suffers from an incredible sense of guilt towards his mother (for everything and about everything), while being in apathy and grief. As he works out, he begins to hate his mother, reject, blame her for all sins, but at the same time, he begins to live independently, even severely breaking off all contacts with her.

Next comes the stage of acceptance, otherwise this m.ch. can fall back into this circle of shame-disgrace-apathy. Acceptance of the mother, neutrality, understanding of the purpose of life, that he needed a mother in his life, allow such a m.ch. very seriously change the quality of life and raise the level of consciousness.

Also, the understanding that there is no punishing mother who tyrannizes him, it is in his head that there is an image of a mother that he invented for himself and lives with it himself.

This allows us to move to the level of readiness and neutrality.

Be careful about setting goals and desired outcomes- goals at the level of desires, pride are very fond of mixing with achievements in life at socially. But, as you understand, this is a position of weakness, a person will not feel a noticeable leap in development. Although it is permissible for a person to climb out of the very bottom to these levels, but only in order to go further.

The path to Buddha lies through Freud. wilber.

Try to surround yourself with highly attractors, to reach up (books, music, people around, etc.). In addition, what you listen to, read and with whom you communicate can tell about your current level of consciousness.

With the introduction of levels of consciousness, such concepts as intelligence, IQ, emotional intelligence, memory, vitality, muscle tone, internal dialogue, charisma, and so on - just fade. Attempts to act separately on one's alleged abilities at the previous level of consciousness lead to overloads and even greater frustrations. And vice versa, in people with a high level of consciousness, memory, intellect, physical body, etc., easily and simply keep at very high levels.

Weakly imagine how, without psychotherapy or other practices, the level of consciousness can be raised. Listening to classical music, reading great books, acquiring truths, doing martial arts will certainly lift you up, but you will fall down. The same applies to various kinds of moving to other countries. Of course in Europe average level consciousness is higher than in Russia or Africa, but there will be no qualitative transition from this.

The same applies to companies, corporations, firms. Where the leading attractor is strength, for example, the level of neutrality (we are not talking about the level of love - few people are capable of this) - success awaits there. Even if a “competitor” takes and copies the whole sales scheme, he will not get the same result if he is guided by fear or pride.

All methods applicable at a level below 200, used “for good”, only exacerbate the situation. War for peace is nonsense. Restore justice through revenge - exacerbate misperceptions.

As I said, the level of consciousness of humanity is now about 207, but at the same time, 80% of all people are less than 200. The fact is that people who have ultra-high levels of consciousness - more than 500-600-700 balance this balance, each individual enlightened person can hold up to several million (!) People.

The only way to help yourself and this world is to raise your level of consciousness.

The level of consciousness is a part of the Universe that differs from other parts in its properties and qualities.

The entire Universe can be conditionally divided into 12 levels, each of which has its own characteristics. The main property of each level is the degree of its manifestation in physical matter. The first levels (from the 1st to the 3rd) are the most manifested and are a direct part of the physical reality. Next come intermediate levels (from the 4th to the 8th), which are realized in matter only partially, and the higher the level, the more abstract and unmanifested it is. Finally, the 9th level and above are completely unmanifested, and planning of what is happening in the material worlds takes place on them. Next, we will talk about each of the levels.

The first level is connected with physical matter itself, with its atomic and molecular structure. This level determines any properties of substances that appear in the macrocosm. At the same time, such properties themselves are laid down at the microlevel, and more often at the nanolevel, within individual atoms and molecules. Thus, the reality of the first level is a microcosm, and all of which it consists.

Within the first level, several sublevels can be distinguished, each of which describes reality on its own scale. The first sublevel is associated with subtle information and energy, which are the basis for the creation of elementary particles. At this sublevel, energy does not yet have corpuscular properties, that is, it is not limited to the manifestations of specific elementary particles. Each elementary particle is an image, or a projection of the basic energy, which is given certain tasks and thus manifested in matter.

As it is physically expressed, the basic energy loses many of its properties, and appears discretely, creating a certain set of properties for each particle. But at the first sublevel of the microworld, this energy combines any properties of particles, and in general is a universal substance from which anything can be created. This energy is dissolved in the entire space of the Universe, and each of its points can become its source. However, where the basic energy exists, there are no such concepts as space and time, so there are no conditions that can force this unique potential to reach higher levels. It can be imagined that the entire structure of the Universe with all levels was created in order to get to this limitless resource. And despite the fact that at the highest levels of the Universe there is also no time and space, they have no contact with this universal energy, on the basis of which all matter is built.

The reason is that levels above the ninth have no contact with material reality at all, and therefore cannot directly connect to the energy sources that feed all physical processes. Based on this, it can be assumed that the entire process of materialization of the Universe was launched in order to create a direct connection between representatives of higher levels and the main source of energy.

It can be said that initially there were only two levels: the first is a source of energy, and the second is a certain abstract level of ideas that needed energy to realize its intentions. At the same time, both levels existed infinitely close to each other, but could not meet in any way due to the difference in their properties. The level of basic energy was present everywhere, but could not manifest itself without the help of the level of ideas, because it simply did not know about its capabilities. This universal substance needed to look at itself from the outside, and while it existed in an unmanifested form, its attention was directed only inside itself.

The level of ideas could build any plan and take into account many of the smallest details, but it did not have the main thing - the point of application of its efforts. Finally, both of these levels decided to connect, and for the sake of this they began their rapprochement. So gradually, levels began to appear from emptiness and non-existence, each of which can be considered a step created by the basic energy and level of ideas for the sake of its unification. At the same time, instructions followed from the level of ideas, according to which the energy could manifest itself, and thereby rise from its inaccessible space. Rising, the energy showed its potential in those processes that were planned at the level of ideas, and as they were realized, these processes became the driving force behind the rest of the ideas of the founders of the Universe. The process of manifestation of energy can be compared with the construction of a windmill, which requires wind currents to operate. From the level of ideas, the instruction first followed to create a wind and grow trees, from which a mill could then be built, and then the subsequent scenario for building a mill would already be realizable, but it would have to wait for the hour of its incarnation. Representatives of the world of ideas reasoned as follows:

"The universe should become the basis for the implementation of any plans, and we just need to create energy flows that we can then redirect."

The main flow of energy created by the Hierarchy (representatives of the level of ideas) is an upward flow directed from the sublevel of basic energy towards abstract levels. This flow of energy supports the formation of elementary particles, from which atoms are then created, then molecules are assembled, and so on. This is how the structure of matter is gradually created, which with each new complication becomes more fragile and less flexible. For example, until the moment of uniting into atoms, elementary particles can move as they like, and the base energy moves with them. When atoms are formed, the basic energy is concentrated within them, and can only manifest itself in the chemical reactions by which molecules are formed. It can be said that the longer the basic energy acts, the more unfree it becomes, since as it is realized, more and more bonds appear between the particles that bind it. Therefore, the path of materialization of the basic energy is the path of its enslavement, as a result of which it loses its own freedom. This scenario, created at the level of ideas, manifests itself in an obvious way at each next sublevel of the microworld.

Thus, after the sublevel of basic energy, sublevels of elementary particles, atoms and molecules appeared, followed by the nanolevel, which determines the processes occurring in the smallest granules and grains of matter, and finally the microlevel, which describes the phenomena occurring with objects up to 1 mm in size. Therefore, within the first level, at least six sublevels can be distinguished, the sequence of which describes the process of materialization of the basic energy, adapting it to all the intentions of the representatives of the upper levels.

The second level is the level of physical processes occurring both at the macro level and on a larger scale. An example can be any flow of energy, which at the level of a single planet becomes wind or the flow of a river, and on a galactic scale - global interstellar flows of matter. The principles of the structure of planets, star systems, galaxies and entire universes are of the same type, and therefore all these scales are part of a single physical reality. Therefore, within the second level, as well as the first one, sublevels can be distinguished: the macroworld, the sublevel of celestial bodies (stars and planets), the sublevel of stellar systems and their clusters, the sublevel of galaxies and the sublevel of universes. In the following, we briefly review each of the sublevels.

The macroworld is the sublevel of the organization of matter most familiar to people, consisting of objects ranging from 1 mm to the size of the entire planet. In fact, it is on this scale that they are used to thinking modern people, and their consciousness rarely goes beyond the limits of the macrocosm in which they exist. However, if a person begins to think about the processes occurring inside the Solar System or in the galaxy, then he significantly expands the limits of his consciousness. Nevertheless, such an expansion is useful if a person does not forget about the connection with his own planet, which gives him energy for existence. After all, the basis of life is the basic energy, originating in the depths of the substance that makes up the physical body of a person. If a person abstracts from this source and embarks on a study of a more global scale, then this study becomes abstract and abstract, and does not allow the researcher to reach a higher level of consciousness.

Nevertheless, modern spiritual currents call on a person to do just that: to abstract from the substance of which his body consists, and to direct his attention upward, touching on more abstract categories. This process of transition is called ascension in many traditions, the simple movement of consciousness to a higher level. However, in this case, all energy connections are lost, which were built with such difficulty by the level of ideas for adapting the basic energy to their tasks. Therefore, the process of ascension can be considered useless for the implementation of the global plan of the Universe, and representatives of the upper levels are not interested in it.

Based on this, the transition of people's perception from the macro level to higher sublevels of material reality should affect the capabilities of their physical bodies. From the point of view of a separate human life this may mean that a person will gain the ability to act not only within his planet, but throughout the entire solar system, and further - within the galaxy and even the universe. At the same time, action does not mean indirect influence through the subtle plane, as representatives of the upper levels usually do, but directly through their physical body.

Such an expansion already concerns not only consciousness, but also the body, which should acquire new possibilities of influencing physical processes. In this case, the basic energy itself will have the opportunity to leave the microworld to the macrolevel, creating the prerequisites for its unification with the level of ideas. So far, all sublevels of the macrolevel are clots of basic energy that are not united into a common system, and therefore this force cannot be freely disposed of.

For example, the human body can be considered a separate clot of energy, manifested in the vibrations of atoms and molecules, as well as in biochemical processes. This energy has no direct connection with other processes taking place on the planet, for example, with the energy of other people or the energy physical phenomena. Despite the fact that the human body exchanges energy with environment, such interaction is determined by strict laws according to which physical reality is built. These laws are an attempt to create comprehensive flows of basic energy that can permeate all space, and thus turn it into a universal resource for representatives of the upper levels.

However, acting under compulsion, the basic energy does not feel its own desire to connect its parts, and therefore the unification does not occur. As a result, the energy remains to exist in the form of clusters, interacting with each other only occasionally, when they are influenced by larger-scale processes built by the Hierarchy. For example, the human body interacts with external environment for the purpose of nutrition, and this is the direction of his biological instincts, supported by the principles of natural selection. A separate planet will interact with another cosmic body only out of necessity, for example, in the event of an asteroid falling on its surface. On the other side, thermal radiation the sun going to the Earth is also a manifestation of the interaction of two celestial bodies, and such a process is necessary to maintain earthly life. However, such an interaction can also be considered an artificial limitation, forcing the Earth to open up to the surrounding fields, and, together with the influx of cosmic energy, experience the impact of higher levels. If a person remembers that the source of basic energy is in matter, that is, inside his body, and also exists in the Earth and lies literally under his feet, then the need to feed physical life through the radiation of the sun will seem like an illusion supported by global forces. From the point of view of the Hierarchy, such an interaction between celestial bodies creates the preconditions for further unification of levels, however, the compulsion of this interaction crosses out such a possibility.

The next sublevels of the 2nd level, which describe the structure of cosmic bodies, star systems, galaxies and universes, are similar in their properties to the macroworld. Just like the body of an individual person, each cosmic body is a bundle of energy that conserves its resources and does not want to combine with other processes. This behavior is expressed in the structure of any celestial body, in which the main part of the energy is concentrated in the center, and moves to the periphery only under duress or for the purpose of survival.

For example, a planet creates its own solid shell to protect its hot core, and around it - a gaseous atmosphere that can trap and burn any foreign bodies that come from outer space to its surface. The radiation of stars is also in many respects a forced measure necessary for the organization of processes at the galactic level. The stream of photons created by each star is involved in the global circulation of particles of the galaxy, through which the Hierarchy plans to launch the most powerful processes at the level of individual universes. Therefore, the radiation of a star is its tribute for the opportunity to exist, similar to the constant outflow of energy from the human body, leading to aging and physical death.

Similar to human aging, most stars fade over time, turning into clouds of interstellar dust. However, in fact, each star has an inexhaustible supply of energy, because in its depths there is an inseparable connection with the basic energy that can endlessly feed this physical body. The end of the existence of a star is only a necessary measure, connected with the unwillingness of the base energy to support the artificial processes built by the level of ideas.

Contradictions between these global levels lead to the fact that the lifetime of any physical body is finite, and all processes lead to a constant dissipation of energy and to its transition to a passive state in which it can no longer be consumed. All this is confirmed by global laws, for example, by the fact that all physical processes go in the direction of an increase in entropy, that is, with an increase in disorder. This pattern is also reflected in the hypothesis of the expanding universe, according to which all its bodies push apart and lose contact with each other. Such inevitable dissipation and pushing can be considered the intention of the base energy, which does not want to become a weak-willed resource for representatives of the upper levels.

Thus, the 2nd level of consciousness is the world of physical processes, which can be studied in sufficient detail by a person. At this level, matter is subject to strict laws, called physical laws, invented by representatives of the level of ideas in order to manipulate the basic energy. However, this energy, having felt its dependent position, began to move away from the capture, which was bound to happen in the event of its submission. As a result, physical processes, despite their alignment and clarity, lead to their own stop and the cessation of any energy exchange. In such a case, the very plan of the Hierarchy, aimed at finding contact with the basic energy, will prove to be a failure. In order to balance the processes taking place at the physical level, the level of ideas came up with the next, more complex level of manifestation of the basic energy, which is a superstructure over the physical reality, containing many unique properties. It's about about the third level of consciousness, which will be discussed further.

The third level of consciousness is the level of physical life, within which the processes of concentration and transformation of energy are launched.

Unlike ordinary material processes leading to dispersion and repulsion, life is called upon to unite and establish links between its links. For example, the cells of one biological organism are in close symbiosis with each other, and at this level one can trace the well-coordinated flows of matter and energy, which organs and tissues share among themselves. A similar association occurs within natural ecosystems, but it is already complicated by the principles of competition and natural selection, which are tools for controlling life processes from more global levels.

In fact, the more global the association of organisms is, the more internal friction arises between them due to the pressure of the controlling programs that these creatures have to obey. However, at the local level, which does not provide for the organization of global energy flows, such cooperation can be built quite harmoniously. For example, in nature, cases of symbiosis of two organisms are known, in which each participant benefits from the interaction. Such a symbiosis can be so close that a new body is formed as a result, and lichens, which appeared as a result of the cooperation of fungal cells and algae, can be an example.

Symbiosis can be realized on a larger scale - at the level of two species, whose representatives will help each other. In all such cases of mutual assistance, the energy of an individual organism is increased due to resonance with another individual, and if the whole community takes part in the symbiosis, then the energy becomes a collective force capable of building processes at a more global level.

However, as soon as the vital energy reaches the level of collective consciousness, it becomes controllable, as standard programs, manifested in the laws of material reality, are superimposed on it. For example, the interaction of living beings within the same biological species can partly be considered a symbiosis, manifested in mutual support. In order to more effectively survive, individuals of the same species often unite in flocks and colonies. However, in such relations there is competition, and it is the higher, the more numerous is the association of individuals.

How more strength association, the higher its energy, which is created due to the resonance between members of the community. At this level, the basic energy begins to manifest itself, especially harmoniously manifested in the body of each organism, and also begins to flow in relations between representatives of the same species. It manifests itself in the tender emotions with which members of the community feed each other, giving hope for the continuation of existence. However, in the process of competition, emotions that promote rapprochement are replaced by fear and other destructive feelings that are tools of control. As a result, life energy, not wanting to be expressed in this way, consciously reduces the size of the community within which they try to control it. To this end, it triggers the aging process within each organism, and also maintains confrontations between biological species, including creating food chains within which some organisms feed on others. Due to such food chains, it is very convenient to maintain the number of any species, preventing its energy from going beyond certain limits. As soon as the number of individuals of one species increases, this creates favorable conditions for the life of those creatures that feed on them. As a result, the number of predators increases, which inhibit the temporary burst of reproduction of this species, preventing its energy from going beyond the established limits. Due to food chains, the number of predators and prey is automatically balanced, and life energy can exist within each species relatively quietly, without the risk of being completely captured.

Thus, the entire natural system can be seen as an opposition of vital energy and principles of control, created in order to adapt it to larger processes. Life energy is a manifestation of basic energy, and at the level of an individual organism it is realized most harmoniously, all this is embodied in harmonious flows of matter inside the body. However, with each new complication that occurs as organisms combine into single system, the base energy becomes more and more trapped, and therefore appears more distorted.

Feeling its dependent position, the vital energy does not want to strengthen itself, and all its excess arising due to resonance translates into confrontations and frictions between species. Therefore, despite the fact that all living organisms on Earth are united in one natural system, this association does not take them to a qualitatively new level. Moreover, the most subtle emotional manifestations take place at the lowest levels of this system, for example, in the relationship between parents and children, united by the goal of survival.

In fact, with the advent of biological life, the structure of matter has not changed its properties. Matter has remained to exist in the form of clumps of energy, and if in the inorganic world these clumps are atoms, molecules, planets and galaxies, then in biological world they were cells of one organism or members of one flock. Nevertheless, in its potential, physical life is capable of transforming the entire material reality, and directing the universal processes not to the destruction and pushing of its parts, but to their harmonious unification.

All this is already observed in embryonic form inside the body of every living being, and under certain conditions is capable of expanding to a larger scale. Just as a person is able to raise his level of consciousness by expanding his capabilities to the level of the entire galaxy or universe, life can also break out of its shackles in which it has imprisoned itself.

At present, physical life controls itself, and in fact it eats itself, in order to diminish its strength, since, having increased its power, it will be irrevocably captured by general laws. These laws have already been worked out at the second level of consciousness, which can be called the level of material processes, and the harmony of physical laws indicates the absence of freedom at this level. The third level was created in order to resolve those contradictions that appeared at the second level. But despite the fact that there is some freedom at the bottom of the pyramid of the natural system, in general, every living organism is subject to strict laws of survival, which have become an analogy to physical laws.

Thus, within the third level of consciousness, as within the first and second, sublevels can be distinguished, which are the floors of the natural system. The first sublevel is a separate organism, unicellular or multicellular, on which energy interconnections are especially qualitatively manifested. The next sublevel is a biological species, the individuals of which are united by a collective consciousness. A more global sub-level is the ecosystem, within which species are combined through food chains and control each other.

Such principles of organization became the basis for the creation of human society, which can be considered a subsystem within a more global natural system. Therefore, all social processes that organize the redistribution of energy between different communities of people also belong to the third level of consciousness.

Compared to the underlying natural system, the social environment is more complex, and it can be considered the next, fourth sublevel of the third level. life energy in social processes is even more dependent than in the natural environment, but this is not so noticeable due to the diversity social phenomena. As in any system, an appearance of freedom is created at its lower level, which gradually overlaps as an individual moves upwards. For example, a person moving along career ladder, becomes more constrained by his duties and, being in his post, is not able to express his emotions as freely as before. However, in general, the social system is an attempt by vital energy to go beyond its own limitations, which have become apparent to it at the level of biological life.

The first stimulus for the creation of society was the desire of people to combine their capabilities and get away from the constant struggle with physical reality. This goal has been partly realized, and therefore, within the social environment, a person is independent of natural conditions controlling the actions of all animals. However, independence from the natural environment is supported by the artificial isolation of people from nature. Separated from the natural environment, the social system did not resolve the contradictions that appeared at the third level of consciousness, but rather exacerbated them. In society, internal frictions simply become softer, but they still lead to the withering and diligence of each creature. Instead of food chains in society, there are boss-subordinate relationships, through which there is also an outflow of energy from lower sublevels to higher ones. If in nature the balance is maintained due to the circulation of matter, then in society it is regulated at the energy level.

The vital energy circulating in the natural environment according to the principles of natural selection, in society has acquired the form of emotional energy that supports a person's desire for self-realization. That is, the desire to survive, characteristic of a biological organism, has acquired a more subtle and multifaceted expression in the social environment, but nothing fundamentally has changed. In general, the social system can be considered a superstructure over the natural system, which allows to smooth out sharp corners and create the illusion of freedom, but not fundamentally solving the issue. However, under favorable circumstances, society, like all natural environment, can become the basis for revising the relationship between the basic energy and the level of ideas, due to which the principles of their interaction will change throughout the Universe.

At present, these two fundamental levels are opposed to each other, and the space of ideas seeks to control energy, and it resists. To one degree or another, this manifests itself in any relationship between levels, since this entire multi-level structure was created in order to draw energy. However, there might not have been a confrontation if the intentions of both sides had changed. Representatives of the upper levels could not take energy, but wisely redistribute it, maintaining favorable living conditions at the lower levels. It is certainly such a process that was meant in the beginning, and moreover, it is meant at the present time by the representatives of the Hierarchy. However, at the beginning of the interaction of the level of ideas with the basic energy, mistakes were made, as a result of which the energy began to resist.

At the beginning, this resistance was almost imperceptible to the level of ideas, since its representatives are too far from material reality, and could not see it. subtle manifestations at the level of elementary particles or atoms. The basic energy itself was also not aware of its dependent position, since it felt relatively free at the first sublevels of physical reality. Over time, the contradictions became more obvious, but the process of convergence of energy with the world of ideas could no longer be stopped. When organizing each new sublevel, the basic energy, together with the world of ideas, could make adjustments, but the mistakes made at the very beginning did not allow the situation to turn in a positive direction.

It was possible to make the existence of matter more complex, and through numerous variations to create the illusion of development. However, freedom no longer became, and rather, on the contrary, the existence at the lowest sublevels of material reality, on which elementary particles exist, remains especially free. At these sublevels, energy exists in an unbound form, most of it is not manifested in physical processes, and therefore can flow freely. At these sublevels, there is still a significant potential of the Universe, which does not want to be involved in a global experiment until it sees favorable conditions for its incarnation.

In fact, the basic energy, having gone to connect with the space of ideas, invested only a small part of its strength, and itself conducted a study, which consisted in identifying the intentions and principles of action of representatives of the upper levels. Now, when the cards of the representatives of the Hierarchy are open, she can speak with them on an equal footing, offering her own conditions. However, in order for the new principles of cooperation to be implemented on the scale of the entire Universe, they first need to be tested on some separate world. The planet Earth can become such a world in its potential, and therefore, despite the restrictions imposed on earthly matter and on biological life, here it is possible to launch transformation processes that change the principles of organization.

For this purpose, people once arrived on Earth who were not originally part of the earth's system, and that is why they are able to influence it. If a person were an integral part of the experiment taking place on planet Earth, then he would never be able to become a force capable of influencing the course of the experiment. But coming from outside, humanity has become an intermediate link between the Earth and more global levels, and is able to create the prerequisites for the harmonious unification of the basic energy and the level of ideas.

By expanding his consciousness, a person is able to influence not only the physical processes taking place in his universe, but also to influence higher levels that are not directly related to material reality. These are intermediate levels (from 4th to 8th), which were created by the level of ideas in order to control physical reality. New principles of interaction can be worked out at the level of relations between people, and then they can be adopted by representatives of the Hierarchy who are at intermediate levels. Then new patterns can be reflected at the highest levels that have no connection with physical worlds but which maintain contact with intermediate levels. Thus, humanity can become the founder of completely new ideas that will launch a different course in the development of the Universe.

Although modern man is on the third level of consciousness, in his body there are rudiments of any other level, up to the highest, and he is able to develop those qualities that will help him reunite with these levels. At the same time, a person does not need to jump with his consciousness to another floor and make the transition through ascension, losing touch with material reality.

The peculiarity of the new path of development, which can open up thanks to the actions of people, is the absence of contradictions, which means that the increase in consciousness will occur through expansion, and not by eliminating some possibilities. The key principle may be the harmonious coexistence of all levels within an individual, like the union of all the cells of the body.

In fact, each person is already such a super-being, uniting all levels and penetrating them with his consciousness, just the corresponding energy flows have not yet turned on. However, it is possible that at the time of the energy transition that is happening on Earth, many people will be able to feel their deep connection with both the lower and upper levels, and start the process of their unification with their being.

In fact, each person is a portal through which the intimate connection of the basic energy and the space of ideas can be realized. At the level of ideas, grandiose plans have been hatched for an eternity, among which there are certainly very wise and valuable ones, but they are not able to be realized in the distorted space that the Universe has become. However, an individual person, having united all levels in himself, can become a center of transformation of all reality, launching local processes of its transformation. These processes will take place inside his physical body, which means that they will not be distorted by the general reality, but at the same time they will create the preconditions for a qualitative change in the whole reality. Changes within such a person will affect his relationships with other people, in which the principle of harmonious coexistence can also be embodied.

It is possible that at first the new principles of interaction will be worked out in small groups that do not experience social pressure, and then spread further. The possibility of such a spread can be created due to a failure in the system, as a result of which it will have to look for new footholds. The old principles of interaction based on competition and control will only increase the tension that can lead to stagnation and breakdown. social structure. To save itself, the system will need new tools, and for this it will begin to adopt the principles of interaction between people that have appeared in small groups. Thus, over time, the entire social system can become a space for the implementation of new principles of cooperation, in which the basic energy and the space of ideas will find a connection. In this case, the experiment, which consists in breaking reality into levels, will receive its harmonious continuation.

In the following articles on levels of consciousness, this possibility will be considered in more detail.
