I think we all lack a description of "our" domestic kind, disinterested and truly heroic deeds. Therefore, I present to your attention stories about children-heroes who, at times, at the cost of their lives and health, without hesitation rushed to the rescue of those who needed help.

Zhenya Tabakov

Most young hero Russia. A real Man who was only 7 years old. The only seven-year-old holder of the Order of Courage. Unfortunately, posthumously.

The tragedy played out on the evening of November 28, 2008. Zhenya and his twelve year old older sister Yana was at home alone. An unknown man rang the doorbell, who introduced himself as a postman who brought an allegedly registered letter.

Yana did not suspect that there was anything wrong and allowed him to come in. Entering the apartment and closing the door behind him, the "postman" took out a knife instead of a letter and, grabbing Yana, began to demand that the children give him all the money and valuables. Having received an answer from the children that they did not know where the money was, the criminal demanded that Zhenya look for it, and he himself dragged Yana into the bathroom, where he began to rip off her clothes. Seeing how he rips off his sister's clothes, Zhenya grabbed kitchen knife and in despair he stuck it in the lower back of the criminal. Howling in pain, he loosened his grip, and the girl managed to run out of the apartment for help. In a rage, the failed rapist, pulling the knife out of himself, began to plunge it into the child (eight stab wounds incompatible with life), after which he fled. However, the wound inflicted by Zhenya, leaving a bloody trail behind him, did not allow him to escape from the pursuit.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 20, 2009 No. for the courage and dedication shown in the performance civic duty Tabakov Evgeny Evgenievich was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage. The order was received by Zhenya's mother, Galina Petrovna.

On September 1, 2013, a monument to Zhenya Tabakov was unveiled in the courtyard of the school - a boy driving a kite away from a dove.

Danil Sadykov

A 12-year-old teenager, a resident of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, died saving a 9-year-old schoolboy. The tragedy took place on May 5, 2012 on Entuziastov Boulevard. At about two o'clock in the afternoon, 9-year-old Andrey Churbanov decided to get plastic bottle falling into the fountain. Suddenly he was electrocuted, the boy lost consciousness and fell into the water.

Everyone shouted "help", but only Danil jumped into the water, who at that moment was passing by on a bicycle. Danil Sadykov pulled the victim onto the side, but he himself received a severe electric shock. He died before the ambulance arrived.

Thanks to the selfless act of one child, the other child survived.

Danil Sadykov was awarded the Order of Courage. Posthumously. For the shown courage and dedication in saving a person in extreme conditions, the award was presented by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Instead of a son, the boy's father, Aydar Sadykov, received it.

Maxim Konov and Georgy Suchkov

V Nizhny Novgorod region two third graders rescued a woman who fell into the hole. When she was already saying goodbye to life, two boys walked by the pond, returning from school. A 55-year-old resident of the village of Mukhtolova, Ardatovskiy district, went to the pond to take water from the Epiphany hole. The ice-hole was already covered with an edge of ice, the woman slipped and lost her balance. In heavy winter clothes, she found herself in the icy water. Clinging to the edge of the ice, the unfortunate woman began to call for help.

Fortunately, at that moment two friends, Maxim and George, were passing by the pond, returning from school. Noticing the woman, they, without wasting a second, rushed to help. When they reached the hole, the boys took the woman by both hands and pulled her out onto the hard ice. The guys escorted her home, not forgetting to grab a bucket and a sled. The arrived doctors examined the woman, provided assistance, she did not need hospitalization.

Of course, such a shock did not pass without a trace, but the woman does not get tired of thanking the guys for being alive. She donated soccer balls and cell phones to her rescuers.

Vanya Makarov

Vanya Makarov from Ivdel is now eight years old. A year ago, he saved his classmate from the river, who fell through the ice. Looking at this little boy - a little over a meter tall and weighing only 22 kilograms - it is difficult to imagine how he alone could pull the girl out of the water. Vanya grew up in an orphanage with his sister. But two years ago he got into the family of Nadezhda Novikova (and the woman already had four of her children). In the future, Vanya plans to go to study at cadet school to become a lifeguard later.

Kobychev Maxim

A fire in a private residential building in the village of Zelveno, Amur Region, broke out in the late evening. The neighbors discovered the fire with a great delay, when thick smoke poured from the windows of the burning house. After reporting the fire, the residents began to extinguish the flames by pouring water over it. By that time, things and walls of the building were on fire in the rooms. Among those who came running to help was 14-year-old Maxim Kobychev. Having learned that there are people in the house, he, not getting lost in difficult situation, entered the house and pulled a disabled woman born in 1929 into the fresh air. Then, risking own life, returned to the burning building and carried out a man born in 1972.

Kirill Daineko and Sergey Skripnik

V Chelyabinsk region two 12-year-old friends have shown real courage saving their teachers from the destruction caused by the fall of the Chelyabinsk meteorite.

Kirill Daineko and Sergei Skripnik heard their teacher Natalya Ivanovna calling for help from the dining room, unable to knock down the massive doors. The guys rushed to save the teacher. First, they ran into the duty room, grabbed a rebar that had turned up under the arm and knocked out the window into the dining room. Then, through the window opening, the teacher, wounded by glass fragments, was transferred to the street. After that, the schoolchildren discovered that another woman, a kitchen worker, needed help, who was flooded with utensils that had collapsed from the impact of the blast wave. Promptly dismantling the blockage, the boys called adults for help.

Lida Ponomareva

The medal "For the rescue of the perished" will be awarded to a sixth grade student of Ustvashskaya high school Leshukonsky district (Arkhangelsk region) Lydia Ponomareva. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the press service of the regional government reports.

In July 2013, a 12-year-old girl rescued two seven-year-olds. Lida, ahead of the adults, jumped into the river first after the drowning boy, and then helped the girl swim out, who was also carried away by the current far from the shore. One of the guys on land managed to throw a life jacket to the drowning child, behind which Lida pulled the girl to the shore.

Lida Ponomareva - the only one of the surrounding children and adults who found themselves at the scene of the tragedy, without hesitation, rushed into the river. The girl doubly risked her own life, because her injured arm was very painful. When the next day after the children were rescued, mother and daughter went to the hospital, it turned out that it was a fracture.

Admiring the girl's courage and courage, the Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Igor Orlov personally thanked Lida by phone for her brave deed.

At the suggestion of the governor, Lida Ponomareva was nominated for a state award.

Alina Gusakova and Denis Fedorov

During the terrible fires in Khakassia, schoolchildren rescued three people.

On that day, the girl accidentally found herself near the house of her first teacher. She came to visit a friend who lived next door.

I hear someone shouting, said to Nina: “I’ll come right now,” Alina says about that day. - I see through the window that Polina Ivanovna is shouting: "Help!" While Alina was rescuing a school teacher, her house, in which the girl lives with her grandmother and older brother, burned to the ground.

On April 12, in the same village of Kozhukhovo, Tatyana Fedorova, together with her 14-year-old son Denis, came to visit her grandmother. A holiday after all. As soon as the whole family sat down at the table, a neighbor came running and, pointing to the mountain, called to put out the fire.

We ran to the fire, began to put out with rags, - says Rufina Shaimardanova, aunt of Denis Fyodorov. - When the most part was extinguished, it blew very sharp, strong wind and the fire went on us. We ran to the village, ran into the nearest buildings to hide from the smoke. Then we hear - the fence is bursting, everything is on fire! I could not find the door, my thin brother ducked into the crack, and then came back for me. But together we cannot find a way out! Smoky, scary! And then Denis opened the door, grabbed my hand and pulled out, then his brother. I have panic, my brother panic. And Denis soothes: "Calm down Rufus." When we walked, nothing was visible at all, my lenses in my eyes were fused from the high temperature ...

This is how a 14-year-old schoolboy saved two people. Not only helped to get out of the house enveloped in flames, but also led to a safe place.

The head of the EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov presented departmental awards to firefighters and residents of Khakassia, who distinguished themselves in the elimination of massive fires, in the fire station number 3 of the Abakan garrison of the EMERCOM of Russia. The list of awardees included 19 people - firefighters from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, firefighters from Khakassia, volunteers and two schoolchildren from the Ordzhonikidze district - Alina Gusakova and Denis Fedorov.

Are there any role models in our lives today, people whom you want to be like?

Is it easy for you, the ROCON students, to answer this question?

Arnold Schwarzenegger? Bruce Willis? Jackie Chan?

But these are all "alien" heroes. Yes, and not heroes at all, but actors who create images on the screen " super heroes". In life they are ordinary people... And it is not even known how each of them would behave in an extreme situation.

Therefore, today it is very important to know that your peers live next to you, who will come to the rescue at any moment.

Today we will tell true stories about the heroic children of our time.

Hero of our time ZHENYA TOBAKOV

The youngest hero of Russia. A real Man who was only 7 years old. The only seven-year-old holder of the Order of Courage. Unfortunately, posthumously.

The tragedy broke out on the evening of November 28, 2008. Zhenya and his twelve-year-old older sister Yana were at home alone. An unknown man rang at the door and introduced himself as a postman.

Entering the apartment and closing the door behind him, the "postman" took out a knife instead of a letter and, grabbing Yana, began to demand that the children give him all the money and valuables. Having received an answer from the children that they did not know where the money was, the criminal demanded that Zhenya look for it, and he himself dragged Yana into the bathroom. Zhenya grabbed a kitchen knife and in desperation stuck it in the criminal's lower back. Howling in pain, he loosened his grip, and the girl managed to run out of the apartment for help. The offender, having pulled the knife out of himself, began to thrust it into the child (eight stab wounds incompatible with life were counted on Zhenya's body), after which he fled.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 20, 2009 No. For courage and dedication shown in the performance of civic duty Evgeny Evgenievich Tabakov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.

School No. 83 of the Noginsky District of the Moscow Region, where the boy studied, was named in his honor. The school authorities decided to add his name to the list of students forever. In the lobby educational institution a memorial plaque to the memory of the boy was unveiled. The desk in the office where Zhenya studied was named after him. The right to sit behind it is given to the best student in the class.

On September 1, 2013, a monument to Zhenya Tabakov was unveiled in the school yard. A boy driving a kite away from a dove.

Hero of our time DANIL SADYKOV

A 12-year-old teenager, a resident of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, died saving a 9-year-old schoolboy. The tragedy took place on May 5, 2012 on Entuziastov Boulevard. At about two o'clock in the afternoon, 9-year-old Andrey Churbanov decided to get a plastic bottle that had fallen into the fountain. Suddenly he was electrocuted, the boy lost consciousness and fell into the water.

Everyone shouted "help", but only Danil jumped into the water, who at that moment was passing by on a bicycle. And, seeing that the boy was drowning, he rushed to save him ... Danil Sadykov pulled the victim onto the side, but he himself received a severe electric shock. He died before the ambulance arrived.

Danil Sadykov was buried in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny at the Oryol cemetery, on the Walk of Fame, next to the chapel.

For his courage and dedication in saving a person in extreme conditions, Danil Sadykov was awarded the Order of Courage. Posthumously.

The boy's father, Aydar Sadykov, received the award. Courage is in the blood of the Sadykovs. The head of the family went through the first Chechen campaign. He fought in 1995 near the city of Grozny.

At the age of 12, Danil turned out to be a real Citizen of his country and a Man with a capital letter. Not every adult will consciously be able to take such a bold step to save a stranger in trouble. And Danil was able, he accomplished a feat - at the cost of his life he managed to save a 9-year-old child.

Danil Turetskov

In the afternoon of March 22, Danil Turetskov was returning home from school. I got off the bus and saw thick black smoke pouring from a window on the first floor of an apartment building right opposite the bus stop. He came closer, and behind the glass was the frightened face of a girl of about five years old, she screamed loudly and beat her hands on the glass. There were no adults around. And Danila realized that he had to do something himself.

The boy pulled himself up on the windowsill and tried to open the window. It didn't budge. Began to break the frame. It was not successful the first time. Then he jumped into the room. Took crying baby into his arms and handed it to the window to the passers-by who arrived in time.

The little girl was in a dressing gown. So that she would not freeze, the schoolboy gave her his jacket, and he himself again climbed into the smoky apartment. He says he wanted to make sure there was no one else there. A neighbor brought a bucket of water, the guy wet some rag, wrapped his nose - and inside. The curtain was burning, the fire was about to spread to the furniture. Danila flooded everything.

Danila, as the teachers say, is the most ordinary boy. In school, anything can happen, and C grades. But in sports - one of the best: in winter he runs on skis, in summer - parkour, bicycle, skateboard.

For saving the child, the firefighters awarded the teenager with a diploma, and as a gift they decided to conduct an excursion around the fire station. Instead of the planned 30-minute excursion, Danil walked for more than three hours. The schoolboy was interested in everything: how water enters the fire hose, what a blanket looks like for extinguishing, how much the lifeguard's uniform weighs. After this event, Danila decided that after leaving school he would enter the college of the Ministry of Emergencies.

Konstantin Kostyuk

Many boys brag about their exploits, but the seventh grader Kostya Kostyuk from Nizhneudinsk is not one of those. Modest guy saved the drowning girl, but did not even tell his family about it!

The teenager was relaxing on the beach with his friends, and a group of girls from a parallel class was swimming in the river nearby. One of them, 14-year-old Anna, swam about 15 meters from her friends and began to sink.

At first, the children thought that Anya was playing to scare friends, but soon the girl disappeared under the water.

Kostya threw himself into the water, dived, grabbed Anya and carried her to the shore.

While the ambulance was driving, he gave the girl artificial respiration, after which Anya came to her senses.

An eighth grader received a medal for saving a schoolgirl from Nizhneudinsk Kostyuk Konstantin.

Lyubov Vladimirova

The large family of the Vladimirovs - a mother and four children - lived in the village of Petropavlovka, Voronezh Region. The mother left on business in Voronezh, and the sixth grader Lyuba stayed with the eldest on the farm.

In the evening, after putting her younger sisters and 2-year-old brother to bed, the sixth grader started cleaning and doing laundry. She went to bed herself after midnight.

At about four o'clock in the morning, she suddenly woke up, as if someone had pushed her. Lyuba felt the smell of burning, ran out of the room and saw that the corridor was on fire.

The solution was found quickly, we must not hesitate: the children could die. Lyuba grabbed a heavy stool and began to knock out the frame of a small window for it. Having woken up 7-year-old Vika and 3-year-old Arisha, Lyuba put them next to the broken window so that they would not suffocate, and then knocked out the second window through which it was possible to get out into the street.

Lyuba took turns helping the children to get out through the broken window. She carefully handed over the 2-year-old Roma to the older girl who was already safe. Frightened and tear-stained children found themselves on the street without even having time to get scared. Then Lyuba got out of the house by herself.

Barefoot and undressed children ran about 500 meters in the night to reach their mother's friend. Firefighters were called from there. Lyuba indignantly recalls that cars were passing by, but none of them stopped to help. The firefighters arrived quickly, but the fire did its job: from wooden house only the foundation remained. Lyuba could not save the house, but she saved three human lives.

These children are real heroes!

Naturally, this is just a small part of the names of selfless children who are ready to come to the rescue at the cost of their lives.

About exploits - they compose poems. About fame - songs are created. “Heroes never die, Heroes live in our memory! "

We have already become a bad tradition of scolding young people: they are licentious, cynical, they are not interested in literature and art, they elevate money to a cult, etc. But sometimes these very licentious and cynical children teach us, adults, such lessons of humanity, courage , perhaps, most properly educated men and women are not capable. Remember the 8-year-old schoolgirl Sasha Ershova, who is in the "Transvaal Park", all in cuts, waist-deep in cold water, held in her arms for several hours a 3-year-old baby, a completely alien girl to her, so that she could survive under the concrete rubble? And what about Murat Kalmanov, who saved his classmates and other children in a burning Beslan school? There are many such examples. Who are these children who, without realizing, are committing today heroic deeds? Why do they in such situations think about others, and not about themselves? Should a child be fostered with a desire for heroism? And is it necessary to bring up other children on the examples of the little heroes of our time? "AiF" tried to figure it out together with our experts.

Olya Kozlova's golden heart

FOR THE GRAND school line on September 1 13-year-old schoolgirl from Petrovsk Saratov region could go on a brand new Renault - this car she received as a reward for saving two kids from the fire.

MOMMA, help! It's so hot in here! - from behind the locked doors of a small dilapidated house on the outskirts of Petrovsk, a plaintive child's cry was heard. The fire started suddenly, in a matter of minutes, the fire engulfed almost the entire building.

One of the guys next door rushed to the phone to call the firemen. And near the flames, buildings began to gather locals... The adults talked and just threw up their hands out of powerlessness - no one even tried to get inside. Although everyone knew perfectly well: there, in the fire, children are now being burned alive.

Come on! Again the Ilyasovs abandoned their children! - one of the inhabitants of Petrovsk shouted indignantly. - God forbid, the children will be saved ... And where did these firefighters go?

And the fire flared up, black smoke poured from all the cracks. Soon the cries for help subsided, from the depths of the room came a child's cough, hoarse from the pungent burning, and the strangled cry of an infant.

Spa-si-te! - with the last bit of strength whispered three-year-old Masha, knocking her fist on the glass. A minute later, her head disappeared into the window opening. Someone in the crowd of onlookers cried out: "The child has lost consciousness! It is necessary to save! Help!" But no one rushed into the fire, faint-heartedly arguing: "I'm sorry for the guys, but I don't want to burn alive saving other people's children. I still don't want to raise my own!"

Live babies

BETWEEN those on Pugacheva Street, 76, people continued to run. A group of sixth-graders from the local school also came - the girls met the neighboring boys, and they shouted: "Let's run, the house is on fire there!"

13-year-old Olya Kozlova, in those minutes that ran with her friends to the burning house, did not think whether or not to risk her life for the sake of others. She just did what she thought needed to be done.

- I knew that the adults ran after the firefighters. That it’s scary to even approach this house - there are flames, smoke, fumes everywhere, ”Olya recalls the events of that March day. - But suddenly, from somewhere inside, children heard screams. I didn't think of anything else. She just wanted to help them at all costs. Immediately rushed to front door but it was locked. Then I closed my eyes and smashed the glass in the window frame with my elbow. I climbed inside and almost suffocated.

Swallowing air in small sips, the desperate girl rushed to the baby crawling on the floor. Olya did not notice the boy lying on the smoking floor right away, it seemed to her that it was just a pile of some clothes. I got closer and saw that it was a little boy.

- I grabbed the girl - she grabbed me with her little hands - and leaned out the window. I held out Masha to adults, I thought they would help. But no one came up. I had to put the barefoot three-year-old baby right in the snow. In the same way I pulled the boy out into the street,- says Olya.

Not a mother, but ...

On THAT day, March 11, there were three children in the hapless house. Unfortunately, the youngest was not saved. When Olya, herself almost losing consciousness from the smoke, "dived" into the depths of the house, suddenly a fire blazed out sharply. The path to the far corner of the room, where there was a crib with a baby, was cut off. The young schoolgirl, miraculously not suffocating, barely found the strength to get out. Falling into the snow, she lay there until the arrival of the firefighters. And the neighbors only lamented in different voices ...

According to firefighters, Olga was just lucky. As Roman Dmitriev, deputy chief of the Petrovsky District State Fire Inspection, told the "AiF-Saratov" correspondent, the girl showed amazing heroism. But she survived by a fluke.

- One of our employees, dressed in special equipment, got to the stroller, in which the seven-month-old baby was lying, only by crawling, - says R. Dmitriev. - Due to the fact that the ceiling was trimmed with plastic, the room was instantly filled with acrid, poisonous smoke. Therefore, it was not possible to save the baby.

After the tragedy, all materials about the incident were transferred for verification to the Petrovsk interdistrict prosecutor's office. It turned out that it was not the first time that the parents-victims of the fire left their children unattended. According to neighbors, long absences were the norm for them. So this time, going out to the store for milk formula, the 30-year-old mother went on a spree.

- The negligent mother was brought to criminal responsibility. A criminal case was opened against her under article 156 "Failure to fulfill the duties of raising a minor." The court sentenced her to 120 hours of compulsory labor, - says assistant prosecutor Sergei Laushkin.

Thanks from Sophia Loren

In PETROVSK, everyone knows about the feat of young Olya Kozlova. At the end of the summer she was awarded the medal "For Courage in a Fire". True, she wore this award only once - at the presentation. At the beginning of summer, Olya received a precious statuette - the international award "Golden Heart" - from the hands of the Italian star Sophia Loren and the head of the Emergencies Ministry Sergei Shoigu. At the same time, the Kozlov family was awarded a certificate for the car.

By the beginning of September, a brand new Renault was already standing under the windows of their house. Olya, now a seventh-grader, dreams of the beginning of the autumn holidays in order to travel the whole country by car - after a trip to Moscow, she realized that she loves travel very much.

The children did not think about themselves

On the Eve of the New Year holidays, late in the evening, two robbers climbed into the house of test pilot S. Zarubin of the Taganrog aircraft factory. The whole family - the husband, his wife and the 16-year-old son - have already gone to bed.

The first killers shot the head of the family, who ran out of the bedroom to the noise. His wife died next. The robber decided to strangle the boy. After some time, thinking that he was dead, the offender left the room. But Seryozha miraculously survived. When he woke up, he managed to sneak into the exit and slip out of the house, having previously blocked the door. The killers were trapped.

Jumping from a seven-meter height, the robbers fell on a pile of gravel and injured their legs. Somehow they got to the car waiting for them and took off. And they didn’t know that the teenager, whom they almost killed all the way back, managed to run to the police post and tell about everything that had happened. The alarm was announced in the city. At the traffic police post on the outskirts of the city, the guards stopped to check the taxi. One of the passengers got out, limping noticeably. The man was detained, and he turned out to be one of the killers. The next day the second was detained.

WHEN the first fire brigade arrived on call to the village of Setovka Altai Territory, the worst was over. The eldest son of the owners of the house - 17-year-old Sergey Shkurin - managed to rescue five younger sisters and brothers from the fiery captivity.

With burns of the 1st and 3rd degree on 40% of his body, Sergei spent a week in the intensive care unit of the regional hospital, after which he was transferred to the regional burn center. The head of the district, Vasily Weber, promised "the respected Sergei Igorevich" to get a medal. In the meantime, he handed the guy thank you letter and a premium - 5,000 rubles.

In AUGUST this year, 13-year-old Petya Egorov, in front of adult counselors, rescued a drowning 8-year-old girl while children from a pioneer camp on the lake were resting in the Kirov region. He himself drowned, no one saved him.

17-year-old Robert Gagiev with friends walked on the embankment of Vladikavkaz. Seeing a drowning girl in the river, he threw himself into the water and pushed her to the shore. Friends dragged him to land, but the doctors were unable to save the guy.

3 years later

MURAT KALMANOV, a graduate of the infamous Beslan School No. 1, in those tragic September days three years ago helped more than one child survive by pulling them out of the burning gym. Today he continues to fight for himself.

A year before the tragedy, Murat transferred from Suvorov School to Beslan to be with a seriously ill mother. His dad died in the line of duty in an attack on a customs post about 10 years ago. A few months before the seizure of the school by the militants, my mother died. Once captured by the bandits, Murat behaved like a real man... He himself suffered very badly: the wounds almost deprived him of his sight and hearing, and his hands began to fail. But after school, he dreamed of enrolling in military school, I was sure: his vocation is to save people. Perhaps that is why he believed that he did not do anything heroic in those terrible days. And the order that was presented to him on behalf of International Association children's funds is too big a reward.

Murat did not enter the military school. Although he did the incredible: with persistent exercises he developed his hands, underwent several operations to restore vision and hearing. Today he is a student of the law faculty of the North Ossetian state university... His goal is the same - to help people.

"We also wanted to accomplish a feat"

OUR children are not to blame that there are so few of them who are capable of a sacrificial, selfless act. The era that shaped them is to blame for this, the writer Anatoly PRISTAVKIN believes.

SPEAKING about sacrifice, about patriotism, we must first of all understand how these qualities are formed in children's souls. You cannot do this with the help of ideology alone. Remember the Great Patriotic War- Talalikhin, Matrosov, 28 Panfilov heroes ... It is unlikely that the company political instructors could inspire them to feat. Nor do I really believe that the communists, who fought among themselves for power almost until the 1940s, would have managed to form a new generation of boys who saved Russia. And it was the boys who saved her - those who turned 14 in June 1941 ended the war. They were raised by the remnants Silver Age- parents, grandparents. The literature of Tolstoy, Chekhov, Bunin, films like "The Seven Bold", "Children of Captain Grant" also played a role ...

The communists used the ideological reserve that had formed in Russia over the previous centuries. With the help of books and films about Shchors, Kotovsky, Chapaev, the Bolsheviks compiled the bible of their prophets. But these heroes taught us nobility, we empathized with them, we also wanted to accomplish a feat. We desperately envied the children who came to our orphanage from the front - the sons of the regiment, who wore medals on their chests. And most of all they were afraid that the war would end, and we would not have time to prove ourselves ...

Lost in modern society this romanticism? Partially yes. The perestroika that broke out in the late 1980s brought different goals and values. As a result, some people were thrown to the sidelines of life, some - more active, young - tried to adapt to new conditions. In society, a border has been laid between Chekhov's romantics, who suffer from the chopping down of a cherry orchard, and those who chopped down this cherry orchard. Now the "people with the ax", the lopakhins, have won. The new era dictated new character traits: rationalism, an attempt to survive at any cost in any conditions.

And modern kids are also trying to adapt to life. They are not guilty of anything - they just behave the way adults behave. We hated the ideology of the communists, the current ideology - the ideology of money - is in no way softer than the communist one. These endless commercial breaks and dozens of TV shows not only distract the boys from Chekhov, Jules Verne, Jack London - they impose completely different ideals on them.

I somehow counted - on different channels, almost six dozen different TV series are recruited per day! I sometimes get the impression that our television is run by a group of either idiots or terrorists. But in recent times- I noticed that on the weekend, at the most watchable time, our old films began to appear on the screen: "The Elusive Avengers", "Seventeen Moments of Spring", "The Dawns Here Are Quiet ...", "It Was in Penkovo." This means that the tele-leadership felt that there was an audience demanding such pictures that the need for romance, for heroes, did not disappear. And it cannot disappear - humanity would degenerate if there were no people willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others.

Help our children grow up normal people only culture can. As in us, orphans, sprouts planted by the remnants of the intelligentsia of the Silver Age have sprouted, so these sprouts will sprout in modern children. Each of us is able by our personal example to resist the triumph of the cave ideology "the strongest survives" and thus raise children. You just do your job and behave in such a way that the child, looking at you, understands: perhaps it is possible to live decently under the conditions of wild capitalism.
