The Main State Exam (OGE) is a test for every ninth grader! The exam is mandatory for all graduates high school, but ninth graders who want to continue their education in colleges are especially diligently preparing for it, because for admission it is necessary to demonstrate high level knowledge and get the highest possible score.

It's time for future graduates to learn as much as possible about how exam papers are checked and what the translation scale will be like in 2019 test scores OGE in traditional assessments.

What will the OGE look like in 2019?

If the USE reform is practically completed by 2019 in KIMs for 11-graders fundamental changes is not expected, then the OGE is only entering the stage of reform. In the last 2017-2018 academic year, the number of subjects submitted for final certification was once again increased, and in 2019 students will have to take a total of 5 exams:

  • 2 compulsory: Russian language and mathematics;
  • 3 to choose from such disciplines as: physics, chemistry, history, computer science, foreign language, social studies, biology, geography and literature.

There is no official information about the introduction of the 6th exam yet. But earlier it was said that by 2020 total items to be handed over will reach six.

The choice of a specialized subject should not be random, because the result of the OGE directly affects the assessment in the certificate and is the main selection criterion for specialized classes.

Checking exam papers of the OGE

In 2019, ninth-graders from all regions of the Russian Federation will perform the same tasks, because, unlike in previous years, today the process of developing a single bank of tasks is actively underway, which will allow assessing the real level of knowledge of students.

As in 2018, 9th grade graduates will write papers on the basis of their educational institution, which greatly increases the chances of good result. The examination of the exam papers of the OGE, as before, will be carried out by school teachers who have sufficient qualifications to become an expert of the GIA.

By analogy with the exam, all works will be checked by two experts. If the opinions of specialists differ significantly, then a third expert will be involved in the verification process, whose opinion will become decisive.

If the student does not agree with the assessment of the experts, he can appeal and the work will be rechecked again, but by completely different experts who are part of the appeal commission.

During the test, for each correctly completed task, primary points are awarded, which are then transferred to the usual 5-point grade for schoolchildren.

Point conversion scale

Although FIPI has developed a unified standardized scale for converting primary OGE scores into grades, in 2019 (as before) other norms can be officially approved at the local level, taking into account regional characteristics.

So, for 2018, the following score transfer tables were approved, which with a high degree of probability will be relevant in the 2018-2019 academic year.

After reviewing the document, you can see that when grading in the Russian language and mathematics (all levels), not only the total total score is taken into account.

So, in Russian, to get an estimate:

  • "4" you need to score at least 4 points for literacy with 25-33 total points;
  • "5" - at least 6 points for literacy with 34-39 total.

Special requirements for the evaluation of works in mathematics are dictated by the fact that two subjects are submitted for the exam: algebra and geometry. Accordingly, the student must not only reach the minimum threshold, but demonstrate a certain level knowledge in each of the main school disciplines in the course "mathematics".

The threshold for entry into specialized classes and colleges also differs depending on the chosen direction:

Russian language

Mathematics

(natural science and economic profile)

Mathematics

(Fizmat profile)

Social science

Computer science

Literature

Foreign language

Biology

Geography

(with experiment)

(no experiment)

The general table for interpreting the OGE test scores in all subjects in 2019 will look like this:

Residents of regions where, in 2019, when determining the results of the OGE, the recommended unified scale for transferring points for graduates of grade 9 is taken as the basis, can also use a convenient online calculator, which can be found on the website 4ege.ru.

Retake the OGE

In 2018, more than 1.3 million ninth-graders took the OGE, most of whom passed the tests without any problems. But, as always, there are those who received an "unsatisfactory" rating. What awaits such ninth graders? There are several options for the development of events:

  1. Retake, which allows students who have no more than 2 unsatisfactory results.
  2. Timeout length in academic year, during which the student gets the opportunity to better prepare for the exam (perhaps individually studying with teachers).

The time for final exams has begun. Every summer, after it rings last call and before graduation is celebrated, students in grades 9 and 11 take exams.

OGE - what it is, and how students prepare for such a responsible period of life - this is our article.

What is OGE - transcript

What is OGE? This abbreviation stands for the Main State Exam. Absolutely all ninth grade graduates are required to pass it, regardless of whether the graduate continues his studies or not.

How to pass the OGE

Graduates are required to take four subjects. Russian language and mathematics are compulsory, and the student chooses two more subjects himself.

March 1 is the deadline for choosing items to submit. Schoolchildren with handicapped health have the right not to take additional subjects.

To pass the OGE, the graduate is given the opportunity to choose additional. items. The school administration enters the student's choice in the general register, in which the results are formed. Based on them, a certain number of packages with tasks will be sent.

Schoolchildren write exams in their schools, with their teachers as examiners. Having written the exam, students can only wait for the results, which are announced within a week.

What is passed in the 9th grade

Compulsory subjects for delivery in the 9th grade are mathematics and Russian. If the student does not plan to enter the 10th grade, then these two subjects will be enough for him.

If, nevertheless, a graduate wants to continue his studies in grades 10 and 11, he needs to pass not only mathematics and Russian, but also two additional subjects of his choice.

The easiest subjects for passing the OGE

The easiest item to change out of humanitarian direction is social science. More than half of the graduates pass it.

This subject is the easiest to understand and remember. The science of social science is aimed at studying life, because the student can take part of the information from life experience.

In the technical direction, the easiest, according to graduates, is informatics and ICT. It, like social studies, is passed by most of the students.

Informatics is simply the monotony of its tasks. But no one cancels the fact that you need to know the school base. On the contrary, it needs to be understood and learned, and together with it, be able to solve many options.

How many points do you need to score to pass the OGE

Each subject has its own passing points. In Russian, the passing minimum is 15 points, and for mathematics, it is enough to score 8.

Is it difficult to get that many? It is better to ask the graduates themselves about this.

OGE grading system - scoring by subject

Behind Russian language when receiving from 0 to 14 points, a score of "2" is put. From 15 to 24 - score "3". From 25 to 33 - score "4". From 34 to 39 the mark "5" is put.

Behind mathematics when receiving from 0 to 7 points, the mark "2" is put. From 8 to 14 points - score "3". From 15 to 21 - mark "4". From 22 to 32 - the graduate receives a grade of "5".

By physics accepted next scale: if there are from 0 to 9 points, a score of "2" is put. From 10 to 19 points - score "3". From 20 to 30 - score "4". If there are more than 30 points, the graduate receives a mark of "5".

By typing by biology less than 13 points, the graduate receives a "2". From 13 to 25 - a score of "3" is obtained. If there are 26 - 36 points, the graduate will receive a mark of "4". If the graduate scored over 36, he will receive a "5".

By geography to pass the threshold, you must score more than 11 points. To get a "4" you need to get from 20 to 26. To get the highest mark, you need to score more than 26 points.

Passing minimum for informatics and ICT- 5 points. To get "4" you need to score from 12 to 17. For "5" you need more than 17 points.

To be enrolled in grade 10, you need to score 31 points in Russian, 19 in mathematics, 24 in geography, 15 in computer science and ICT, 30 in physics, and 33 in biology.

What is the difference between the OGE and the USE

These two ways of testing knowledge are very similar. The significant difference lies in two aspects:

  1. The first is how knowledge is tested. OGE students pass in their schools. And the examining committee is the teachers of this school. To write the exam, students are invited to other schools in the city, where other teachers will be supervisors. The work of graduates is checked by an independent commission, which is organized by the district education committee.
  2. The second difference is admission to the exam. In the 9th grade, everyone who does not have twos in the subjects they pass is allowed to take the exam. In the 11th grade, admission to the exam is not only positive marks, but also, more recently, the final essay. His students write in early December. It is evaluated according to five criteria, for each of which you can score a maximum of five points. The evaluation criterion is the correspondence of the written essay to the given topic. The criteria also include the presence of argumentation, and one of the arguments must be taken from literary sources.

The third evaluation criterion is the composition of the essay and the presence of logic in the text.

The fourth is quality. writing. The student must clearly and clearly express his thoughts using different grammatical constructions.

The fifth criterion is literacy. If five or more errors are made, 0 points are given for this item. If points 1 and 2 are given 0 points, then the essay is not checked further and the graduate receives a “failure”.

What happens if you do not pass the OGE

If the student failed the exam and received an unsatisfactory grade in the main subjects, he is given the opportunity to retake these exams on reserve days.

But if the graduate did not score the required points for the second time, then instead of a certificate he will receive a certificate of completion of training. Retake of these items is possible only next year.

How to pass the OGE well in grade 9

For successful preparation for the OGE, you can seek help from tutors. For a not at all cheap fee, the student will be purposefully prepared for the delivery of a certain subject.

If, nevertheless, the student decided to prepare for the upcoming exams on his own, he should follow some tips:

  1. It is necessary to determine what form of memorization the graduate has. Perhaps visual, then you should outline the material more, highlight information with all kinds of markers, divide it into blocks. If the student has a more developed auditory form of memorization, then he should read more and pronounce the information read aloud.
  2. It is better to devote one or two hours to preparation every day than to sit on textbooks all day.
  3. To prepare, you need to organize self-discipline. It is very important to start preparing at least six months in advance. If the student cannot independently organize his work, parents need to help and try to control the preparation.

Conclusion

Once again about what is the OGE. This abbreviation is translated as the main state exam and means a form of testing the knowledge of grade 9 students.

In turn, the exam, called the unified state. exam, checks the knowledge of 11th grade graduates and opens the way for them to receive higher education.

This is the name of the exam, which every student who has completed the ninth grade must certainly pass. The OGE will continue to be a guarantee of the student's transition to the tenth and eleventh grades, after which the path to universities is open. It also won't stop calling card for admission to institutions of specialized education. Nevertheless, rumors about a change in the number of OGE exams do not stop. Let's try to figure out what changes can happen.

The main state exam is a kind of dress rehearsal to pass another important test in the life of a school student - the Unified State Examination. Grades of the latter will decorate the certificate of the future graduate of the school. Fate depends on them. young man- either continue your studies further, or start working.

How many subjects to take in 9th grade

Currently, mathematics and Russian are among the mandatory OGE exams. However, it is worth recalling that back in 2015, the Ministry of Education started talking about increasing the number of exams in the coming years.

In fact, four subjects have already been offered for passing the OGE. Until 2014, among the compulsory subjects were: mathematics and Russian, and the other two could be chosen at your discretion. At the same time, the choice of additional items in reality was as follows:

  • social science - 40%;
  • biology - 21.5%;
  • Physics - 12.8%.

Starting from 2017, it was decided to return to the practice of passing several exams. According to the Deputy Minister of Education N. Tretyak, in 2017 and 2018 they are going to introduce two more compulsory subjects, and by 2020 they will add the following two subjects. Thus, in the near future, in order to pass the OGE, it will be necessary to pass the following number of compulsory subjects:

  • from 2016 - 2017 - 4;
  • since 2018 - 5;
  • after 2020 - 6.

Already in 2017, the OGE grades in compulsory subjects will begin to influence the student's certificate. Students who do not pass the required subjects will be forced to retake them in August.

It is not yet known what specific items will be introduced. However, rumors are circulating that physics and history will be among the required subjects.

Why are there additional exams?

Analyzing the situation with education in last years, experts came to the conclusion that the level of training of schoolchildren who take only two mandatory exams at the OGE has fallen sharply.

After the introduction of two compulsory subjects, the situation changed dramatically and students began to choose mainly mathematics and the Russian language for passing the OGE - 90%. Other items were distributed as follows:

  • social science - 9%;
  • biology - 3.5%;
  • physics - 4.1%.

By analyzing this table and the one shown above, it can be seen that general level education has become much lower. It turned out that out of the sixteen subjects taught now for high school students, almost only two are supervised.

The Ministry of Education believes that returning to passing several exams will help to better pass the exam in the future and, in general, improve the preparation of schoolchildren.

Features of the new exams

Until 2016, the scale of assessments in each region was different. The teachers themselves determined what knowledge should be given an A, and for which a D. With the introduction of new compulsory subjects, uniform standards for assessing knowledge will be introduced.

KIMs - control and measuring materials will also be developed not in the regions, but will become uniform throughout the country.

FIPI is already preparing to develop new exams for high school students. The Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements will most likely add jobs for school graduates. The Ministry of Education also plans to increase the number of exams for the Unified State Examination.

To improve the level of training in 2018, they may also introduce a special certification in the fourth grade. The question of the possibility of introducing examinations in the primary grades is also being considered.

Changes in KIMs and OGE assessment

The official website of FIPI gives full information about the changes that will take place in 2018.

Mathematics The exam contains 26 tasks:
  • Algebra -11;
  • Geometry - 8;
  • Mathematics - 7.

In tasks 2,3,8,14 you need to do right choice of the proposed options, in others - you must specify the correct number.

Russian language The ticket has 15 tasks. First you need to write a summary of the text you have listened to. It can only be heard twice. Next, answer 13 tests that contain the correct answer. The result can be offered as a number or a word. At the end, you will need to write an essay on one of the topics. You can use dictionaries.
social science KIM consists of 31 tasks. The ticket consists of two parts:

The first part contains 25 tasks, the answers to which must be done briefly. At six next tasks you need to give a detailed answer.

Physics The exam has 26 tasks, of which 21 questions must be answered shortly, and the next five must be answered with reason.
Biology The ticket contains 32 tasks, divided into 2 parts:
  • 28 - short answers;
  • 4 - you must answer with reason.
Chemistry 22 tasks expected:
  • 19 - short answer;
  • 3 - extended wording.
Geography You need to answer 30 questions:

Answers to tasks 1-8,10-13,21,22,27-29 must be selected from the options provided and presented as a number of the correct answer. Questions 9,14,16-19,24-26,30 should be answered by writing a word or numbers. In tasks 15,20,23, you need to give detailed reasoned information. You can use atlases, a calculator and a ruler.

Story The ticket contains 35 questions. Thirty tasks are solved simply - you need to give a short answer. There are five other tasks worth working on. In tasks 31 and 32, it is necessary to show the ability to work with the source.

As noted above, if earlier only the grades of two subjects were taken into account, then from 2017 the results of all tests will affect the future certificate. A document confirming the end of the school will be received only by those who have passed four subjects out of five with a satisfactory grade or higher.

As for the scoring for exams, they vary in mathematics. Algebra and geometry scores will now be combined. As a result of each exam, you can score the following maximum number of points:

Item Max. number of points The number of points for obtaining an "excellent" grade Number of points to get a "good" rating The number of points for obtaining a rating of "satisfactory"
Mathematics 32 22 and up 15-21 8-14
Russian language 39 Above 34 inclusive 25-33 15-24
Physics 40 From 31 inclusive 20-30 10-19
Chemistry 34 Over 27 inclusive 18-26 9-17
Biology 46 37 and up 26-36 13-25
Geography 32 27 and over 20-26 12-19
Society-doing 39 Above 34 inclusive 25-33 15-24
Story 44 From 35 inclusive 24-34 13-23
Literature 23 Over 19 inclusive 14-18 7-13
Computer science 22 Above 18 inclusive 12-17 5-11
Foreign language 70 59 and up 46-58 29-45

Retaking the exam

There are five exams to take in 2018. It is possible that some students will not be able to gather their strength and “fill up” one of the subjects. The Ministry of Education has foreseen such a situation. Students can retake exams, but there can be no more than two. If the student has not passed the test in more than two subjects, he does not move to the next class and remains for re-training in the same class.

At first glance, all these changes seem quite complicated, given that the OGE was not mandatory before.

State Duma deputies, who approved the new rules, believe that innovations will benefit society. They believe that the level of intellectual abilities of the younger generation will increase compared to the current period.

Scale for transferring primary scores of the OGE 2016

As in previous years, the OGE-2016 (GIA-9) is held in 14 academic subjects. Graduates of the 9th grade take two compulsory exams in Russian language and mathematics, as well as two exams in any of the subjects of their choice. Recall that last year students could limit themselves to only two compulsory subjects and the rest to hand over on a voluntary basis.

Primary scores for the performance of the examination work of the OGE are translated into a mark on a 5-point scale. In this regard, the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI) published "Recommendations on the use and interpretation of the results of examination papers for the 2016 main state exam (OGE)". Regional commissions are given the right to change the scale of transferring points up or down in compulsory subjects.

The points received at the OGE and recalculated into a five-point system affect the grades in the certificate in the corresponding subject. The certificate contains an average indicator between the mark obtained at the OGE and the annual one for the subject. Rounding is done according to the rules of mathematics, that is, 3.5 is rounded to 4, and 4.5 to 5. In addition, the results of the OGE of students can be used when enrolling in specialized secondary school classes.

Exam grades are available to graduates at their school after the papers have been reviewed and the results approved.

FIPI draws the attention of teachers and school leaders to the fact that the scales for converting primary points into marks on a five-point scale for conducting the OGE are RECOMMENDATIONAL.

For 9th grade students, the beginning of spring is associated with preparation for the main state exam. The Institute of Pedagogical Measurements has developed detailed program for the successful passing of the exam and a special scale for the distribution of marks in the ratio of score - grade.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the most common mistakes at the OGE

At passing the OGE in Russian there are many spelling errors in the written part of the exam. This is mainly due to the inattention and confusion of schoolchildren. Before the exam, it is important to focus on reviewing your accumulated knowledge and concentrating on certain tasks.

Spelling “not or neither” in sentences is one of the biggest mistakes students make. It must be remembered that the difference between these two particles depends on the meaning of the phrase: “not” - denies, “neither” - strengthens.

Punctuation marks are also important. The best cure for this is to say the sentence in your head. This will allow you to intuitively place all the punctuation marks.

Errors in passing the exam in mathematics also have a similar character. All teachers focus on the confusion of students and the inability to correctly apply the well-known formulas.

In the section of the social studies exam “Man and Society”, words that are similar at first glance cause frequent confusion, but you should not be misled. It will be useful to simply flip through the dictionary of the meaning of certain words and build a chain of associations of these words in your head. Based on this knowledge, it will be possible to easily pass the exam.

In the "Economics" section, experts highlight such terms as extensive intensive growth. It must be remembered that the prefix "ex" is associated with external indicators, and "in" - with internal ones.

The most common mistake in legal section is a misinterpretation of a misdemeanor and a crime. You need to pay attention to these points.

Of the typical mistakes in biology and geography, from the experience of past years, three main ones can be distinguished: the material of difficult-to-understand sections must be worked out independently at inopportune hours; carefully read the terms of the examination tasks; answers should not be randomly assigned to test tasks you need to justify your choice.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the ratio of scores to grade

Passing the main state exam will confirm the certificate of ninth graders. After the exam, there will be a transition to the 10th grade or admission to a college or technical school. To pass, the student will need to pass the final test in two main subjects and three selective ones. Points for completing tasks are converted into an assessment on a 5-point scale.

In Russian, you can score from 15 to 39 points, where 15 points will be equated to a mark of 3.

Results in the subject of mathematics should be in the range from 8 to 32 points.

The maximum number of points in the subject of social science is 39 points. You need to score a minimum of 15 points for a satisfactory grade in the subject.

When taking an exam in foreign languages required amount points varies between 29 - 70. The minimum and maximum number corresponds to marks 3 and 5.

The maximum number of points for the OGE in physics is 40, the minimum is 10.

The subject of chemistry is presented in two variations: with and without experiment. For the first option, you can get from 9 to 38 points, and for the second - 9-34 points.

For completing assignments in biology, you can get 46 points. The minimum allowable number of points in this subject is 13.

For a positive assessment in geography, you need to get at least 12 points. The mark “excellent” will correspond to 32 points.

In history, the student will have to score at least 13 points out of a possible 44.

On the exam in literature, you will need to get a minimum of 12 points. The maximum number of points will be 33, which corresponds to 5.

The maximum in computer science will be 22 points, and the minimum - 5 points per subject.

The final grades in the subjects will be used for the subsequent enrollment of students in and distribution to profile classes.

Scale for converting OGE 2018 scores into grades: the impact of the results of the OGE on the school certificate

In 2017, it was decided that the grade for the OGE would not be displayed in the school certificate of ninth graders, but would affect the final mark for a particular subject. Previously, in 2017, the result was taken into account only for the Russian language and mathematics, but starting from 2018, the OGE score will affect the grade in the certificate in selective subjects. When calculating the total score for the subject, the final grade will be rounded in favor of the student.
