We bring to the attention of buyers a series of mobile plants for processing worn-out tires into crumb "UPSh-M".

The company Tekhnoresursy LLC produces various equipment for the processing of tires, including a series of units "UPSh-M".

Here you can buy inexpensive mobile equipment for processing all types of car tires into crumb of the "UPSh-M" series.

The series "UPSh-M" includes seven models. Modifications are distinguished by the ability to process tires on the outer diameter.
For example, the UPSh-1200-M model processes tires up to 1200 mm, and the UPSh-3500-M model crushes large tires up to 3500 mm in outer diameter.
Below is a description of the operation of the installations on the example of the model "UPSh-2-M".

The equipment allows processing all types of tires into crumb.

  • Recyclable tire seat ring diameter: R15 to R33
  • Outer (outer) tire diameter up to 2000 mm.
  • The weight of the recycled tires is up to 600 kg.
  • Processing technology: a method of mechanical grinding of tires at ambient temperature.
  • Machine dimensions: (L / W / H): 2200 * 2000 * 3000 mm.
  • Machine weight: no more than 1500 kg.
  • Cutting group: 10 cutters.
  • Service life of cutters: 180-350 tires (depends on the condition of the tire and its size).
  • Average productivity of the machine: 6-20 tires / hour or up to 120 kg of crumb rubber (depending on the type of tires).
  • Electricity consumption for the production of 1 ton of pure rubber crumb is approximately 90 kW. A crumb obtained from the outside of the protectors and sidewalls of a tire.
  • Electricity consumption for crushing the steel cord layers of the tire is about 130 kW / 1 ton.
  • Tires are recycled to about 50 mm seat rings. A thick bead wire passes through them.

Up to 20 kg of clean rubber crumb is removed from each worn-out truck tire (up to 1200 mm in diameter) (depending on the degree of tread wear.) Then the rubber-cord layer is removed and at the exit a crumb with pieces of cord is obtained, which requires additional cleaning.
When processing KGSH with a diameter of 1600 to 2000 mm, it is possible to produce pure crumb (50-120 kg of granules) + rubber crumb with inclusions of textile fiber or metal. wire 60-150 kg. The capacity for recycling KGSH is significantly higher than for recycling standard smaller truck tires.

Additional options:

  • Lifting and landing system for heavy tires weighing up to 800 kg.
  • Tire cutting system for 6-piece rings. Thanks to this option, the UPSh-2 can replace the BB-500 machine. That is, cut a large-sized tire with a diameter of up to 2000 mm into 6 rings: landing rings - 2 pieces; 2 sidewalls; cut the treadmill down the center into 2 pieces.

This option is relevant if tires are recycled in partial recycling mode, i.e. grind only the outer sheath of clean rubber (from the sidewalls and treadmill). This option is not required for complete tire recycling.

Basic waste:
Out-of-service open-pit KGSH type "BELAZ", tractor, truck and off-road tires of various standard sizes with radial and diagonal cord structure.

Places of accumulation of worn-out tires:

  • on roadsides and unauthorized dumpsites;
  • on the territory of motor transport and other enterprises;
  • next to tire shops;
  • quarries, landfills where a large amount of CGS is accumulated.

Due to the fact that automobile footwear during operation must experience long-term destructive loads, expensive high-quality components (natural, synthetic rubbers, oils, reagents, fillers, etc.) are used in the production of new tires in conjunction with the latest technologies. Tire rubber is practically the strongest and most durable of all types of rubber used, it has many other important qualities (elasticity; resistance to acids and alkalis; strength in bending, stretching, abrasion, resistance to cyclic loads, temperature extremes, etc.).

During mechanical processing of tires into crumb - granulate, the physicochemical composition of tires practically does not change. Due to the fact that crumb is a product of processing (disposal) of tires, the market price for it is 3-5 times lower than for primary rubber raw materials. Therefore, crumb is an inexpensive, high-quality product for recycling automobile rubber.

The principle of operation of the mobile unit for the processing of automobile tires UPSh-2-M:
1. Workers roll up a tire to the machine.
2. Light tires are manually installed into the clamping drum (up to 25-35 kg) 2 tires at a time, heavy tires are installed using a tire lift and landing mechanism.
3. When the tire is put on the chuck drum, the worker uses hydraulic force to spread the legs of the chuck and the tire is securely fixed in the drum.
4. After the tire is installed by the worker, the chuck rotation drive is activated and the fixed tire starts to rotate. Since the wheels have different outer diameters, 3 rotation speeds are provided.
5. The car wheel rotates at a certain speed, and a powerful cutting crown is brought to it by the operator, rotating at a speed of more than 2000 rpm. On the crown there is a group of knives hidden under a protective metal casing. The approach speed of the bit is controlled by the operator, similar to working on a lathe. The higher the speed at which the crown is brought to the tire, the larger is the fraction of crumbs at the exit and vice versa (this is a way of adjusting the fraction of crushed rubber). In the production of small fractions of crumbs, the productivity of the plant is lower than in the production of large granules.
6. In this way, first clean rubber chips are cut from the tire, and the tire is processed until a cord appears. Further, the second stage is the processing of the cord layers of the tire carcass.
7. The larger and heavier the tire, the higher the productivity of the mobile installation, and, as a result, the ability to "remove" more clean rubber crumb in a shorter period (time is saved on installing a car tire in the chuck).
8. The machine, at the request of the customer, is equipped with an additional option for slitting tires into 6 parts (bead rings-2 pcs, sidewalls-2 pcs. + The frame is cut into 2 parts in the center of the treadmill). This is convenient for the arrangement of tires, which reduces their bulk and makes the rubber a more transportable material. The arrangement of the tire residues makes them convenient for further shredding.
As mentioned above, this option is relevant for the mode "partial processing of the tire into granulate".

The sale of mobile plants for tire recycling includes the following steps:
1. Conclusion of an agreement and invoicing for an advance payment of 50%.
2. Manufacturing of equipment from 35 to 65 days (depends on the model and configuration).
3. Payment by the buyer of the remaining 50% and sending the equipment to the address of the buyer through the transport company.
4. Receipt of equipment by the buyer in his city at the warehouse of the transport company.
5. Personnel training, consulting, information support, exchange of experience is carried out by email. mail, telephone and printed materials sent with the equipment.
6. Term of warranty service: 12 months.
7. Cost of additional warranty service for 24 months: + 7% to the cost of the contract.

Production parameters for UPSh-2-M:
1. Required area - from 25 m2
2. Working shift - 1 person
3. Electricity consumption:

  • Installed power no more than 15 kW.
  • Average consumption - no more than 10 kW / h (due to the fact that the equipment works cyclically, not with full load after starting the engines)

4. A metal 20-40 foot container or a suitable non-damp room is suitable for the finished product warehouse.
One 20/40 'container contains 15/30 000 kg of crushed rubber.
Production is conventionally divided into three zones:

  • Raw materials warehouse.
  • Crumb production sector.
  • Finished goods warehouse.

General characteristics and advantages of the tire recycling technology on mobile units UPSh-M:
UPSh-2-M replaces the whole complex (line) for the complete processing of tires up to 2000 mm crumb rubber.
Low setup cost, making it affordable for budding small business entrepreneurs.
The equipment pays for itself much faster than multistage tire shredding lines - within a few months.
About 90 kW is spent on the production of 1 ton of pure crumb. This is approximately -300 rubles (depending on the size of the tire, on the local electricity tariff).
The cost of knife wear is not more than 2,000 rubles per ton of clean crushed rubber without inclusions (depends on the type of recycled tire)
The production is simple, the staff is only one worker.
The crumb is ideal for the production of rubber colored tiles by hot and cold forming, thanks to the grinding technology and the elongated shape of the particles. The shape of the rubber crumb "herringbone needle" provides finished product high bending strength, rupture.
Output: a) pure rubber granules without metal and textile inclusions; b) rubber is crushed with the inclusion of a cord, requiring additional separation.
Almost any room from 25 m2 with 15 kW is suitable for organizing a workshop.
The production is environmentally friendly - there are no emissions into the ground and the atmosphere.
The production is not harmful to personnel due to dustiness, vibration and noise levels.
Due to the fact that the UPSh-2-M has the ability to process large-sized tires, a number of advantages are achieved over the operation of standard expensive equipment for multistage processing of tires, for example, the ability to process a wide range of tires to be recycled according to dimensions. The standard equipment can process tires up to 1200 mm in diameter. For example, the UPSh-3500-m model can process tires up to 3500 mm! The cost of recycling KGSH and oversized tires is much higher than the cost of recycling a standard automobile tire up to 1200 mm.

Most of the advantages of the UPSh-M are based on the fact that the complete crushing of the tire on the UPSh-M occurs in 1 stage. That is, no additional machines and stages are required, which significantly reduces the cost of the produced commercial granulate.

The cost of 1 ton of crushed rubber for Russian market approximately equal to 15-30 thousand rubles. depending on the type of pellets, quality, fraction, seasonality and region of supply.
Rubber crumb obtained at the UPSh-2-M has the following advantages over rubber granules of round and cubic form:
When hot forming colored rubber tiles from such chips, very strong products are obtained (especially to break and break). This is possible due to the elongated shape of the particles. Also, the structure of the particles itself contributes to this. The particles adhere with a larger surface and overlap each other, which is less pronounced when stitching round and cubic rubber granules.
The tread of any car tire contains only pure rubber. Neither metal nor textile cord passes through this part. The exit crumb is obtained without inclusions, which is difficult to achieve when processing the entire tire (there are minimal inclusions of textiles, metal and rubber dust).
It is possible to manufacture crumbs of any fraction (see photo below) at the request of the buyer. This is achieved by the fact that by adjusting the supply of the cutter, the crumb is obtained with the required fraction (from dust to large pieces of RD).
Thanks to the cutter's sharp blades and an efficient air cooling system, the chips do not receive any traces of thermal oxidation.
If necessary, the product from such a crumb can be made hard by strong compression of the press.
If necessary, in addition to pure crumbs, granules with the inclusion of a cord can be obtained at the UPS-2-M from fabric-cord tires, in addition to pure crumbs. For example, today a crumb with a fabric cord is the main and irreplaceable filler for sports equipment (for example, professional punching bags). Such crushed rubber can be used as the bottom layer of rubber tile coverings.

Crumb rubber is the main raw material for the production of many popular goods:
Children's playground coverings
Gyms and sports grounds
Anti-slip rubber pavers
Coverings of berths, swimming pools.
Coverings for car washes, garages
Cover for livestock farms.
Covering under trees to delay water evaporation, prevent weed growth. Has an attractive aesthetic appearance. Used in landscape design.
Spray-on waterproofing coating of walls and foundations.
Filler for sports equipment (punching bags, mats)
A filler in bitumen-rubber mixtures (for the production of high-quality new generation asphalt, rubber mastics and roofing materials).

Economic calculations of crumb production

1. Data:
For simplicity of calculations, we will take one standard tire size 14.00-24.
We work 8 hours per shift, 2 shifts per day, 22 days per month.
Productivity per month: - 20 tons of pure rubber crumb: 10 tons of crumb with cord included.
Number of workers per shift - 1 person
Form of ownership: individual entrepreneur or LLC, where a simplified taxation system operates - 6% of total revenue.
The cost of electricity is 4 rubles / kW (each region has its own tariff)
Monthly deductions for salary (2 workers, when working in 2 shifts) - 50,000 rubles.
The cost of renting an industrial premises (25 sq. M.) - 10,000 rubles / month.
Average power consumption is 9 kW / h.
Energy consumption of the workshop per month - 9 (kW) * 16 (h) * 22 (days) = 3170 kW * 4 rubles / kW = 12 700 rubles.
Other monthly expenses (office, household) - 5,000 rubles.
The cost of selling 1 ton of crumb on the market is 18,000 rubles. (taken minimum price on a clean crumb)
2. Calculations:
Energy consumption of the workshop per month - 12,700 rubles.
Wage 2 people per month - 50,000 rubles.
Premises rent / month - 10,000 rubles.
The cost of consumables (knives, bags) / month - 10,000 rubles.
Other monthly expenses - 5,000 rubles.
Total total costs: 87,700 rubles.

Performance of clean crumb / month - 20 t.
Productivity for crumbs with the inclusion of a cord -10 tons.
The prime cost of 20 tons of pure crumbs and 10 tons of RD with cord included is 87,700 rubles.
Gross profit - (20,000 * 18) + (10,000 * 10) = 360,000 + 100,000 = 460,000 rubles.
Profit minus cost - 460,000 - 87,700 = 372,300 rubles.
Profit minus taxes and other fees (8%) - 342,500 rubles.

send

Tire recycling, as a business, allows you to simultaneously solve two problems - environmental and economic, since the crumb obtained as a result of the disposal of old rubber will be used for production needs, and the amount at landfills will decrease hazardous waste... The fact is that car tires wear out over time and become unsuitable for further use. They are replaced with new ones, and old rubber is sent to landfills, where it can lie for decades, polluting the environment.

Is it possible to make money on recycling tires

Until the technology for recycling old tires was developed, unnecessary tires found themselves quite unusual uses. They were used to fencing playgrounds, flower beds, without thinking that a good business can be done on old tires, with the availability of equipment. The tire could serve as the basis for a country bench or a flower bed, and even a foundation for a light summer building. They are still used today as interesting landscape decorations, thanks to artisans who are trying to breathe new life into discarded items.

However, the issue related to the disposal of the huge amount of old rubber that is thrown into landfills annually is not resolved in this way. Unfortunately, this is due to the lack of competent collection in our country and the lack of a business environment with the necessary equipment. Recycling as a business, depending on the technologies and equipment used, makes it possible to obtain fuel oil or rubber crumb and granules of various sizes, which are widely used:

  • In the manufacture of new car tires
  • For the production of rubber footwear and many types of industrial rubber goods
  • As additives in the manufacture of floor coverings and roof composites
  • For the manufacture of tile, roll and seamless coatings for tracks, playgrounds and sports grounds
  • As a concrete mixture filler, which is used in the construction and repair of road surfaces.

Small particles of crumbs up to 2 mm in size are used for the manufacture of special sorbents necessary for cleaning the surface of soil and water from oil products. This raw material is used only once. After application, the absorbent is burned as a fuel mixture, or becomes part of the road surface.

Business plan

Before starting a tire recycling business, it is necessary to draw up a competent business plan. He will help to calculate the profitability of the future enterprise, taking into account the forthcoming expenses.

registration

This area is one of those activities for which it is necessary not only to open an individual entrepreneur or LLC, but also to obtain a license. This document is issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources. In the absence of a license, the company's activities will be considered illegal, and an administrative penalty in the form of large-scale fines will be imposed on the owner.

To obtain a license, you must provide:

  • Relevant statutory documents
  • List of works and technological processes to be carried out by the enterprise
  • Documents for the ownership or lease of the premises where the processing plant will be located, as well as for the corresponding equipment
  • SES conclusion
  • Environmental impact assessment
  • State fee payment document

Premises for rent

If processing is planned on a medium to large industrial scale, it is necessary to find a facility of the appropriate size. In the processing shop, it is necessary to rationally install all the equipment; this will require an area of 500 sq. m.

You will also need warehouses for storing raw material and recycled crumbs, as well as other finished products. Recycling of rubber tires is a hazardous production, so the complex should be located far from residential areas, in a specially designated industrial zone.

Equipment purchase

For the processing process, it is advisable to purchase a ready-made line, which includes equipment capable of providing a full cycle of separation and crushing into crumbs. With a limited budget at the initial stage, you can get by with one shredder and subsequently expand the enterprise with new equipment.

Procurement of raw materials

The tire recycling business is most often carried out on the basis of free raw materials. And even more: at the reception of waste rubber, you can even make a profit by producing crumb rubber. For example, when a company delivers tires. Free material can be obtained from landfills or tire shops.

The tire business is an opportunity to show concern for the environment, improve the ecological situation and obtain inexpensive raw materials for the production of necessary goods and the arrangement of infrastructure. For example, crumb rubber is used to make the basis for playgrounds and public transport stops.

Processing technologies

Tires can be recycled if the necessary equipment is available:

  1. Electromechanical grinding, when crumb is produced at the exit, which is subject to subsequent processing to obtain rubber products.
  2. As a result of pyrolysis or thermal destruction with the receipt of fuel oil.

Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. Recycling of old tires as a result of electromechanical shredding is accompanied by frequent equipment downtime due to the need for maintenance of the cutting tool. Knives often become dull and fail when working with steel cord rubber, and it is at least 90% of the total raw materials. In this case, the resulting crumb has a wide range of applications.

If the technology provides for a change in the chemical structure of rubber, then the raw material obtained is not suitable for re-production and is characterized by a lower cost. It is used as a fuel material. But the recycling process takes place without the cost of updating cutting tools.

Processing problems and solutions

Processing is still in the early stages of development. It is unprofitable as an independent business, however, the problem of environmental pollution with old, worn-out rubber and the growth of the car park, which provides an annual increase in the amount of waste, requires an immediate solution.

The small popularity of the recycling of car tires is associated with the need to obtain a license, resolving issues with environmentalists and firefighters. One of the most effective solutions to the existing problem can be government subsidies for this type of activity and the opening of integrated processing plants, the profitability of which will be ensured by other types of raw materials. However, there are many benefits to opening a tire recycling organization. For example, the availability of raw materials and the disproportionate benefits for the environment.

The issue of recycling tires in Russia is long overdue.

There is really a lot of waste material, it is thrown into landfills, in places that are not intended for this at all.

It would seem that an ideal environment for a rubber processing business is being created. However, there are many nuances in this topic, which we will try to shed light on in this material.

You can "breathe" a second life into any old material and use it effectively in any industry.

Let's take a closer look at what useful old car tires can give.

Mechanical processing

In the case of mechanical recycling of tires the output is such material:

  1. Tire crumb of different fractions, which is used for the manufacture of new products.
  2. Textile cord that can be utilized by pyrolysis to obtain fuel.
  3. Metal cord, which is also melted.

You can learn more about the electromechanical method and its varieties.

There are three fractions of crumbs:

  • 1 mm;
  • 2-3 mm;
  • 4-5 mm.

Each type has its own consumer, but the selling price of crumb rubber is approximately the same.

In China, Europe and the United States, the technology of recycling tires for their intended purpose is also used by new profile overlay on the old tire.

A development plan in this direction was developed at the state level back in the days of the USSR, but failed after its collapse.

Pyrolysis method

There is also a pyrolysis method for recycling old rubber.

Pyrolysis is a change in the formula and properties of the starting material with the splitting of its constituents.

In simple terms, rubber and rubber, which is part of tires, separated from the court... The end products of pyrolysis are quite suitable fuels and lubricants.

In a number of countries, the use of this method is prohibited by law due to harmful emissions into the atmosphere. However, now this issue is being revised and may start to gain momentum in the future.

The method of pyrolysis processing of tires and rubber goods is described in more detail here.

Business organization

Considering the recycling of used tires as a business, it is worth weighing all the pros and cons.

Let's dwell on the mechanical method, and, using one of the production lines as an example, we will consider a detailed business plan for the recycling of automobile tires.

For the model we will take the proposed site ALFA TIRE RECYCLING 500 - electromechanical production line for processing tires of different diameters, including truck tires.

Cost of equipment

Start-up capital for the purchase of the necessary equipment:

Below is a table with the name of the equipment within the ATR 500 tire recycling line:

You can learn a little more about this line by watching the video:

It is worth paying attention to the following points:

  • prices for individual items of equipment must be checked with the seller (supplier);
  • all obligations for warranty repair and the conditions for its provision are spelled out in the supply contracts.

The cost of delivery of equipment in Russia may fluctuate upward, depending on the remoteness of the region.

A more detailed description of this line.

You can ask the price for equipment from other suppliers, for example, this one.

Requirements for production premises and warehouses

You will need space for:

  • placement of equipment;
  • storage of raw materials;
  • storage of the finished product.

To install the line, you need both minimum 200 square meters .

For storing old tires and tires, an outdoor unheated hangar or a fenced-in place for unloading recyclable materials is suitable.

Buying the necessary premises can be an overwhelming burden for an aspiring entrepreneur.

You can use the proposed rental options, the cost, depending on the region, can range from 20,000 to 100,000 rubles / month.

Staff

Consider the number service personnel and a monthly payroll.

For the smooth operation of a production line with a finished product (crumb rubber) output capacity of 150 tons / month. required staff about 10 people.

Approximate fund of monthly wages - RUB 350,000.

These calculations are presented as an average plan and may differ depending on the region of Russia.

Other expenses

Production will be accompanied by other monthly costs:

  1. Purchase of packaging bags (containers) for finished products. The price of a 30 kg bag will be 8 rubles, based on the monthly consumption we get the amount of 4,000 rubles.
  2. Communication - 10,000 rubles.
  3. Unforeseen expenses - 10,000 rubles.
  4. Average data of energy consumption of the production line, calculated for the production of finished goods 150 tons / month. are equal to about 100,000 rubles / month.
  5. Maintenance - 50,000 rubles.
  6. The replacement of cutting elements (knives) should be considered a separate expense item - 35,000 rubles.
  7. Garbage truck services - 20,000 rubles.

Adding to these figures the cost of rent and salary, in the end we get monthly cost part - about 620,000 rubles.

License for acceptance and disposal

Contrary to the information on most sites, recycling tires as a business requires a license.

Tires have fourth hazard class... According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, the reception and disposal of this type of waste requires a license.

Before submitting documents, an entrepreneur must have:

  • production area;
  • an industrial site with a sanitary zone;
  • equipment;
  • permits from Rosprirodnadzop, Rospotrebnadzor, fire inspection.

License cost is 7,500 rubles, the term of its registration - 45 working days... Using the services of intermediaries, be prepared to pay many times more.

Calculating profitability

Project profitability and revenue plan:

  1. Finished products in the form of rubber granules, the average price is 15 rubles / kg. 100 tons = 1,500,000 rubles.
  2. Metal cord 30 tons at a price of 3,000 rubles / ton = 90,000 rubles.
  3. Textiles based on the material received 20 tons and the average market price of 2,000 rubles / ton = 40,000 rubles.

We receive monthly proceeds of 1 680 000 rubles. By means of simple deductions for expenses and maintenance, we get a net profit of 1,001,000 rubles.

The presented business plan has average calculations, does not take into account some factors:

  • location;
  • territorial affiliation;
  • the presence of a sales market in a particular region.

It cannot be taken as a formula, but, even in spite of this, the benefit is obvious.

Under favorable conditions, the payback of the production of crumb from old tires will occur in 1.5-2 years after the launch of the line.

Underwater rocks

When we speak of “favorable conditions,” we mean:

  • no problems with the supply of raw materials;
  • properly working equipment of high quality and declared performance;
  • established sales at affordable prices.

In reality, not everything goes smoothly. Let's consider a few nuances:

  1. Wrong choice of equipment... Our tires differ from foreign ones in that they have a mixed or textile diagonal cord. Most of the imported machines, which are produced for the domestic market, and not specifically for the Russian Federation, are not capable of processing such products. So, in the absence of experience, you can purchase equipment that will be useless or ineffective in Russian realities.
  2. Buying defective / faulty units... Again, this is a common problem when ordering from overseas, especially from China. Malfunctions begin to emerge en masse in the first months of active work, constant breakdowns will raise funds for repairs and lead to line downtime.
  3. Overpriced performance... Sometimes the manufacturer can greatly embellish these parameters, especially for sellers from China. Buying high performance at a much lower cost is likely to end up with equipment that doesn't work efficiently. As a result, the declared payback period of 1-2 years will turn into 5 or even 10 years.

Problems can arise in other areas as well, for example, in obtaining raw materials. It may not be enough or it is expensive.

Businesses have to collect tires and transport them to production facilities on their own. Many people buy tires from the population. All this leads to the fact that the cost of tire crumbs increases greatly.

Crumb demand

Here is a list of the main areas of need for crumb rubber:

  1. Floor coverings... Enterprises dealing with the installation of such coatings are widespread throughout the territory of the Russian Federation and are constantly in need of high-quality raw materials.
  2. Production of tiles and roll coatings... There are large and small industries that are in need of rubber crumb of medium fractions.
  3. Road surfaces... The main consumer is also the Moscow region, but there are prospects for development in other regions. Fine chips and rubber dust are used for asphalt.
  4. Government orders for the construction of sports facilities, running track surfaces, sidewalks.
  • headstones;
  • figures for playgrounds;
  • rubber borders, posts;
  • various items in which the crumb acts as a filler (bean bags, punching bags, etc.);
  • rubber shoes;
  • MBR (bituminous mastics), where the crumb is needed as a filler;
  • rubber insulation;
  • other rubber goods.

Be that as it may, before opening a production, you need to find out which enterprises are located in your region or near it in order to identify the demand for rubber crumb.

Every year, thousands of tires go to landfills and landfills, despite the fact that for an enterprising person they are a free resource from which to produce rubber crumb.

If you need it only once, you can buy it in the right amount from the manufacturers.

But where to get rubber crumb, if it is needed on an ongoing basis and in large quantities?

It is worth considering purchasing your own tire recycling equipment.

However, a full-fledged installation is not affordable for everyone, and such an investment will not be profitable for everyone. The way out is to create equipment with your own hands, and use it to produce rubber crumb from tires at home.

Recycling small amounts of rubber at home

If you need very little raw materials, you can do without equipment at all.

This requires only scissors and a cutter.

First, the metal cord is removed from the tire, then it is divided into belts and crushed into smaller fractions to the required size.

This completes the process.

Material for decorating paths, flower beds or a separate playground is ready to use.

But in order to get more raw materials or to have income from tire recycling at home, you need the appropriate equipment.

Construction of a crusher for tire recycling

There are three main methods of crumb production:

  1. Crushing tires after cooling them with liquid nitrogen to –190 degrees.
  2. Receiving crumb on industrial equipment of a full cycle with the removal of the cord and subsequent crushing of rubber.
  3. Recycling with universal crushers that you can do yourself at home.

The first two methods require a lot of investment. The third option is available to anyone who has the ability and desire to make a crusher at home.

The necessary units can be made independently in a workshop or at a production site - where there are metal-cutting machines (turning, milling) and a welding machine for the manufacture of component parts.

If you cannot independently perform machining of workpieces and have to order them according to your drawings, all the same, the cost of tire recycling machines will be several times cheaper than similar purchased units.

The main component of the tire alteration line is a shredder (rubber shredder). Let's consider in more detail the purpose of the units of this machine.

Unit device

The machine consists of the following main units:

  • electric motor 5 kW - 2 pcs;
  • body with disc shafts;
  • lattice;
  • worm gearbox - 2 pcs;
  • shredder frame;
  • loading hopper;
  • guide tray;
  • control cabinet.

The details of the installation are mounted on a strong frame welded from channels.

Cutting disc box

The main unit of the rubber crusher is the casing with milling rolls.

At the same time, the cutting knives are made of high-strength steel and heat-treated, which significantly reduces their wear. They practically do not require sharpening during operation.

The calculation of the box holes, shafts and cutting elements must be accurate, so it must be done by a specialist in this field (designer).

Grill for crumb calibration

In order to obtain a calibrated fraction of tire raw materials, shredders are equipped with a special grate, which is installed under the rolls.

Worm gear reducer

Rotation of shafts with disc cutters is carried out separately, directly from worm gearboxes connected to electric motors through couplings.

The gear ratio is selected from 25 to 35 so that the cutting is without jamming and with sufficient speed.

Unit frame

The frame is welded from profiled elements, which ensures the reliability and stability of the unit during operation, as well as loading and unloading operations.

Feed hopper

The plant for processing tires is equipped with a hopper for loading tires and a tray for removing the finished rubber crumb.

Thanks to its design, the hopper eliminates the formation of blockages from raw materials and guarantees a directed movement of the crop towards the rotating rolls.

Tire cutter

The tire cutting and cord removal machine consists of a base frame and a stand.

The carcass houses the tire clamping mechanism that rotates with the tire during cutting. Engine speed is reduced due to different pulley diameters. There is a built-in wedge-shaped cutter on the stand, which is adjusted to a certain size by moving the quill.

How to grind tires?

The technological chain consists of several preparatory stages before the product of the required fraction is obtained.

This procedure includes:

  1. Inspection and removal of foreign objects from the tire cavity.
  2. Cut the cord.
  3. Cutting tires into strips measuring 50-80 mm.
  4. Shredding of raw materials by means of a shredder.
  5. Separation and separation of metal from textile parts.
  6. Calibration of crumbs into fractions using a vibrating sieve.

Equipment performance

The operation of these two main units in the processing of tires is done in a semi-automatic mode.

For the normal operation of this line, a room of about 150-200 sq. meters. This is due to the fact that you need a place to locate not only equipment, but also for the storage of worn-out tires, finished tire products and metal waste.

The production of crumb rubber on this equipment per hour will be about 200-800 kg and up to 100 kg of scrap metal; to service the machines, 2-3 unskilled workers will be needed.

In addition to tires, this equipment can be used to process other rubber (conveyor belt, cameras, gas masks). At the exit, crumb with sizes from 0.7 to 4 mm is obtained, while it makes up 65-85% of the total mass of raw materials.

Where to apply the received raw materials?

You can use crumb rubber:

The price of the crumb will depend mainly on the quality of the raw material, and secondarily on the fraction.

The most popular is crumb, the fraction of which is 2-4 mm.

It is great for creating:

The popularity of such crumbs is due to the fact that a minimum amount of glue is used to glue these granules. And the polyurethane binder is sometimes 5-8 times more expensive than crumbs.

Making rubber crumb with your own hands at home

In recent years, the use of crumb rubber and materials based on it has become fashionable for decorating plots, organizing paths, and covering roofs of houses. You can also use crumb rubber to create waterproofing for building foundations. In order to use crumb rubber elements on your site, you can contact a company that professionally works with crumb rubber. However, it is not so difficult to carry out work with this material. If you wish and have free time, rubber crumb can be made at home with your own hands.

What is the rubber crumb made of by hand?

When solving this issue, you can go in two ways. Path number one relies on the transition of rubber to a brittle state at low temperatures. If at home it is possible to cool the starting material for making crumbs to a temperature of -70 ... -80 degrees Celsius, then it will be possible to obtain crumbs from any type of starting materials. However, solving this problem at home is not so easy.

Way number two is to select the correct source material. As we know, crumb can be obtained from tires and tubes from car wheels. But tires are very difficult to grind under normal conditions, and besides, it is then difficult to extract the metal cord from them. For this reason, it is better to use old worn-out cameras as a raw material for making crumb rubber at home. This material can be cut quite easily using the tools at hand available in any home.

How to make rubber crumb at home?

At the initial stage, it is necessary to prepare a sufficient amount of raw materials, i.e. old car inner tubes and appropriate cutting tools. To manufacture a coating with an area of one square meter and a thickness of 10 mm, about 8 kg of crumb rubber is needed. During the production of crumb from old chambers, the loss of material by weight is minimal. Thus, it is necessary to prepare the starting material at the rate of 8 kg of old chambers per 1 square meter of coverage.

You can use ordinary scissors or an ax to grind the rubber. If desired, you can build special guillotine shears. V last resort, you can organize the cutting of chambers with a fairly sharp knife.

The production of crumbs must be performed according to the following algorithm:

  • Remove all metal elements from the old camera
  • Cut the camera into thin strips
  • Grind thin strips obtained in step 2

Recycling tires at home

Every motorist knows that the disposal of used tires is a serious problem. However, there are several options for recycling tires at home. Let's take a look at some of them.

Creativity

There are many examples of creating original sculptures from waste tires, used to decorate a garden, or as an independent work of art. Garden variations can be embodied in the form of swans, garden vases, etc.

At the same time, the "pattern" is extremely simple and straightforward. And the created images are very similar to living prototypes.

There is also a more artistic attitude towards rubber waste. From them, like from clay, the conceived sculpture is literally "molded". You can, for example, sculpt a horse, moreover, such a hot one that will arouse the approval of other venerable sculptors.

A pragmatic approach

Still, for the majority, recycling tires at home means using waste rubber for the benefit of the family home and its economy. There are several nuances here.

First, you can use waste tires for your home as they are.

Secondly, it is possible to use in the household the product of their primary processing, obtained at small and large enterprises.

Thirdly, it is possible to organize, within the framework of a private, home firm, a production that is actually engaged in primary processing tires.

Using tires as a timeless material

Tires are known to be one of the finest building materials. Some craftsmen used tires from Belaz as a support, a foundation under a garden house. A zealous owners can use tires as elements:

  • fence
  • mini-flower bed
  • elements of playgrounds

The use of partially recycled rubber

Recycling tires is carried out in stages:

  • cutting and crushing
  • plasticization and output to the final product

A semi-finished product used for different types productions, rubber crumb serves. You can make fuel from it, or you can make tiles, both for asphalt and for the roof. It is also used for the production of footwear, sports ground coverings, etc.

In the household, you can even use crumb in the form of a semi-finished product - it is sprinkled with paths along the lawns. You can also use rubber roofing for the house.

Recycling of unusable tires

Tires are shredded - either cooled down to -70 ... -80 degrees, when the rubber becomes brittle, or at normal temperatures - but with a more powerful tool. To obtain fuel, the rubber is subjected to a pyrolysis operation.

This is an environmentally hazardous process. Equipment, maintenance of areas, organization of collection of raw materials and search for buyers, attraction of significant Money- all this is completely associated with a small "private shop" where tire recycling would be profitable.

Output

Recycling tires is difficult in the home of a car enthusiast. To do this, you need to be very enthusiastic. But maybe you are lucky enough to find unique way use of unusable tires.

technology for processing car tires, tires and other rubber, description and video of the manufacturing process

The service life of car tires is quite short, after which they must be replaced.

Recycling of used car tires is a big problem for the ecology of the whole world.

The number of cars in use is increasing by almost 10% every year.

Obviously, tires need to be recycled.

In this article, we will cover the following issues:

  • what is the technology for processing tires crumb;
  • what equipment is used;
  • where crumb rubber is used;
  • is it possible to make it yourself.

Tire recycling methods

Not only worn-out tires, but also any other used rubber products can serve as raw material for producing crumb rubber.

In practice, only two main methods are used to obtain crumb rubber from waste tires:

  • shock wave;
  • mechanical.

Let's consider both methods separately.

Shock wave

This technology of crushing car tires and other rubber waste into crumb was invented relatively recently.

The processing process consists in cooling products to over low temperatures followed by crushing by a shock wave.

For freezing, cryogenic chambers are used, and the shock wave is formed by a special electrical device or the detonation of a small amount of explosive.

This technology for recycling worn-out automobile tires requires the installation of expensive equipment, which is economically beneficial only for large enterprises with large volumes of raw materials.

Mechanical

This is a classic technology for processing tires into crumb rubber, which, unlike the first one, is used everywhere.

The essence of the process lies in the step-by-step mechanical action on the raw material to obtain the required fraction of rubber crumb and by-products.

There are several methods for recycling tires by mechanical stress:

  • grinding under normal temperature conditions;
  • at high temperatures;
  • with cooling of raw materials;
  • using the "ozone knife";
  • forcing raw materials with a powerful press through special dies.

The most popular method is conventional mechanical grinding with normal temperature.

This technology is classic and is perfect for organizing small enterprises for the recycling of used car tires.

Classical tire grinding technology

With the availability of the necessary equipment, this technology allows you to get rubber crumb of any fractions, up to a dusty substance.

The whole process of tire recycling can be divided into several stages, each of which uses a certain type of machines and mechanisms.

The main technological stages of tire crushing and the types of equipment that are used on each of them:

  1. At the first stage of processing, tires are sorted by size, which is necessary to adjust the equipment for certain tire dimensions. The crushing itself begins with cutting the bead rings on a special punching machine.
  2. The second stage of shredding tires takes place using hydraulic shears, mechanical cutters or guillotines, with the help of which they are cut into strips and medium-sized pieces.
  3. The crushing process continues in a special shredder, where large pieces of rubber are crushed to small chips ranging in size from 2 to 10 square meters. cm, which come to the next technological operation.
  4. At this stage, the final grinding of the raw material to the required fractions takes place. Rotor mills with square knives or other equipment capable of withstanding enormous mechanical loads are used.
  5. After complete crushing of the used tires, it is necessary to separate the obtained rubber crumb from by-products: chopped metal court and textile waste. For this, magnetic and air separators are used.
  6. At the final stage, the obtained crumb rubber is passed through a special vibrating sieve, where it is separated into fractions. The resulting material is packaged and sent for further processing.

This is the classic scheme technological process crushing tires into crumb at normal temperature with an approximate list of machines and mechanisms.

The number of processing stages can be reduced or increased depending on what equipment will be used and what kind of crumb needs to be obtained at the exit.

Transportation of raw materials from one technological operation to another can be carried out both manually and automatically.

If the transfer of tires, pieces of rubber, chips and crumb rubber is carried out using belt and screw conveyors, then the whole complex of equipment for recycling old tires, in fact, becomes a production line.

For the organization of a small recycling workshop, the installation of an automatic line is the best solution.

What equipment do you need?

There are a lot of offers on the market for equipment for processing tires.

Russian and foreign manufacturers offer both complete lines and plants, as well as individual machines, devices and mechanisms. The price will depend on the type and performance of the unit.

Let's consider the minimum set of what is needed for recycling tires into crumb.

Bead removal machine

This is the first unit in the entire technological chain of tire grinding. Its purpose is to remove the seat rings from the tire.

The principle of operation of machines for removing beads is based on:

  • cutting down;
  • cutting;
  • pulling out the landing rings.

Each of the methods does not have any advantages over the others.

Further processing of the removed rings is carried out on squeezing machines, where the metal base is squeezed out and the remaining rubber is crushed in the general flow.

Tire shredders without beads

  • shredders;
  • tape cutters;
  • hydraulic shears;
  • roller grinding devices;
  • mills.

The technological line may include several such devices:

  1. Hydraulic shears and tape cutters cut tires into large pieces.
  2. Shredders recycle them into smaller pieces.
  3. Roller units and mills bring the type of raw material to the required fraction.

Separators for metal and textile removal

The magnetic separator removes the chopped remnants of the metal court from the crumb rubber.

The principle of operation of this device is simple: a powerful electromagnet pulls out metal waste from the mass of raw materials and sends them to the receiving hopper.

Removal of textile residues takes place in an air separator of the "cyclone" type, where a powerful air stream simply blows light textile fluff into the receiving hopper.

Read more about textile and metal cord, and where it can be applied profitably, here.

Vibrating screens for product separation into fractions

The complex for the recycling of car tires includes at least two shale shale screens: coarse and fine cleaning.

On the first device, large, not fully processed pieces of rubber are screened out, and on the second, the conditioned fraction of rubber crumb is separated.

A vibrating sieve is a device consisting of a table with holes corresponding to the separated fraction of crumb and a mechanism that vibrates the table with a certain frequency.

Conveyors and other mechanisms and devices

Tire processing lines and plants include conveyor belts for moving tires, rubber pieces and crumb rubber from one technological operation to another.

Some manufacturers use screw conveyors in their lines for moving and packing finished crumb rubber. In addition, automatic tire processing lines are equipped with bunkers, safety systems and technological process control.

All of the above equipment are equipped with automatic lines for processing old tires into crumb rubber.

The number of machines and mechanisms depends on the volume of production and the final type of product that must be obtained as a result of processing.

What can be made from the resulting granulate?

The crumb rubber itself, obtained from the processing of old car tires, is intermediate product... Raw materials, depending on their fraction, are used in the production of the following products:

  • floor coverings for indoor and outdoor use;
  • curbs, bumpers and speed bumps for the road sector;
  • substrates and pads to protect goods during transportation;
  • figures for playgrounds;
  • building materials - waterproofing and noise-absorbing;
  • dielectric products for the electrical industry;
  • MBR - bitumen-rubber mastic.

Granulate is also added to asphalt mixtures, obtaining a strong and durable road surface.

Fine crumbs can be used to produce various rubber products by hot pressing, namely:

  • bushings;
  • rollers;
  • rubber shoes;
  • many other products.

In addition, it can serve as an additive in the manufacture of new tires, thereby reducing its cost.

The entrepreneur receives not only crumb rubber, but also grinding by-products: metal courts and textiles, which are also liquid goods. You can sell them and get additional profit.

As you can see, there are ample opportunities for the tire recycling business in terms of product sales, because the demand for it is very high in many industries.

Making crumbs from tires at home

Tire granulate can be purchased without any problems in online stores, building supermarkets, or ordered directly from the manufacturer.

But for those who want to open their own small home business or just make a coating for paths in the garden with their own hands, the issue of self-production becomes relevant.

In this case, it makes no sense to purchase expensive equipment for processing tires.

There will be no problems with raw materials for making crumb rubber at home. It is enough to walk around the neighbors, who will be happy to get the used tires out of the garage and get rid of them.

The simplest set of equipment and tools for grinding tires and other rubber products can be made by hand with minimal investment.

As mentioned above, rubber can be crushed mechanically or by freezing to a low temperature.

The latter option is unacceptable for the home, since it will be necessary to purchase an expensive low-temperature chamber to cool the raw materials.

For the home, the best solution would be mechanical cutting and crushing of rubber to a crumb state. In a separate article, we described how to make equipment for these purposes.

How do you think, how can you make money on some types of household waste, not counting, of course, services for its disposal? For example, on old, unnecessary car tires? It should be noted that there are really a lot of options.

As well as from plastic bottles, tires can be used to make garden decorations (flower beds, animal figurines, swings, sculptures, and much more). In general, collecting (or buying) and recycling car tires - as it turned out, is a very profitable business, especially if you approach it with a certain amount of imagination, and using various modern technologies.

Based on the fact that such a large amount of raw material remains unclaimed, we can say that the competition in this type of business is relatively small, even scanty. And finally, the most important thing is that the products obtained as a result of the processing of automobile tires are in great demand now, and will be in demand for at least another hundred years. So, if you wish, you can transfer your established business to your grandchildren.

People have long begun to think about the recycling of used tires from cars, which are increasing by a huge amount every year. But no solution has been found. Of the total number of worn-out tires, only a fifth of them are recycled. There are only recycling points for these old tires. You can earn extra money by helping to improve the environment.

Worn car tires are quite valuable polymer materials. Ton worn out rubber contains about seven hundred kilograms of rubber, which can be reused, for example, as fuel, various rubber technical products and building materials.

At the same time, if such a ton of tires is burned, then the ecology will be disturbed by two hundred seventy kilograms of soot and four hundred and fifty kilograms of toxic emissions. Recycling tires with economic benefits in a large industry is unprofitable and very difficult. But if the manufacturers of mobile recycling equipment are to be believed, such production in a mini-enterprise can have tremendous success and good profits.

Such a small factory represents prefabricated equipment, which covers an area of about eighteen square meters, its height is ten meters. This equipment is capable of processing about five tons of consumables per day.

Moreover, the production area includes warehouses for worn-out materials (plastics and tires), an area for the preparation of raw materials (cutting tires into pieces), as well as a warehouse for finished materials such as liquid fuels, carbon black, and scrap storage.

What can be obtained from the old "rubber".

The most surprising thing is that the process of recycling automotive rubber itself is final, leaving almost no waste behind. Let's see what you can get from recycling old tires:

Crumb rubber, which is used in the production of various gaskets and seals (including for sanitary purposes), shoe soles, rubber mats, rubber roofing (you can learn about liquid rubber for roofing here), Novotek seamless coatings, as an additive to asphalt , punching bag filler, and many other uses.

Equipment for processing tires and rubber at the plant: installation

The need to recycle used tires has arisen due to the rapid growth in the number of cars in most developed countries... The number of used tires is growing every year, so the problem of their disposal is acutely faced by the authorities of the states. Tire recycling equipment is not cheap.

Special factories and enterprises for their processing are being built. They solve the environmental and economic problem associated with the disposal of disused car tires. This waste tire business is already developing by leaps and bounds. First of all, this is facilitated by a large amount of inexpensive raw materials.

A tire processing plant is being built not far from the place of sale of the product obtained after processing, namely: rubber crumb, saw, steel cord, heating oil. A tire recycling plant is a cost-effective solution to the problem. It is located at the place of accumulation of raw materials or near a plant, production in need of recyclable materials. The main thing is that the tire recycling plant is located at a distance of more than 300 meters from the located residential buildings.

Special equipment for the production of crumb rubber is being installed at the plant. Investments are required to open a business in this area, however, due to the small number of competitors and the demand for this raw material, all investments will pay off in the near future.

Waste Tire Recycling Equipment

Equipment for rubber processing is a unit - a reactor. It is installed in a specially designated open area.

Medium tire shredder equipment has the following capacity:

  • 2 tons of liquid fuel
  • 1.5 tonnes of solid residue containing carbon
  • 0.5 tons of steel cord
  • 1 ton of gas

The volume of tires to be crushed is 5 tons per day. Refined products serve as raw materials for many types of production. The reactor itself operates using gas, which it itself is capable of producing when recycling waste tires. The installation is not demanding in maintenance, it only needs two people for one shift. To work on such an installation, employees of the enterprise need to undergo special training and study the features of the process.

Among the products of tire processing are:

  • Rubber granulate and crumb. Rubber crumb is of various fractions: 0.1 - 0.45 mm.
  • Regenerate. Finely ground crumb with improved quality. Sizes: 0.6 - 10 mm.
  • Crisps. Size 2 - 5 cm. Presented as pieces of tires with steel cord.
  • Rezinoplast. Used in the manufacture of soft roofs.
  • Rezinopol. Presented by a polymer floor covering.
  • Bireplast. Presented by a multilayer waterproofing roll roofing material.
  • Reizol. Presented by rubber-plastic with an adhesive waterproof rubber layer.
  • Fiber concrete. A mixture of crumb rubber and two types of cord: textile and metal.

Rubber processing technologies

Recycling rubber can be done in several ways. The choice of method ultimately determines the appearance and demand for the resulting product. The paragraph will not consider such a method as disposal in landfills. Despite the fact that this option is the simplest, at the same time, the crumb plant does the least harm to the environment.

There are four main processing methods:

  1. Crumb production - equipment for recycling tires into crumb is considered the most rational, it can process several tons of tires per year and brings to the owner stable income... But the technology is not ideal, it has a significant number of disadvantages, such as the need to select raw materials with the same composition to standardize the properties of the final product.
  2. Pyrolysis is the decomposition of tires when exposed to high temperatures. This method is extremely inconvenient because during this process a huge amount of toxins are released into the atmosphere. Another obvious drawback of this method of disposal is economic disadvantage. Decomposition equipment is expensive and pays for itself over a significant period of time.
  3. Burning - is the complete destruction of tires. The only benefit from such an action is the generation of energy, however, such products do not perform very well as a fuel. This is due to the fact that during the combustion, a large amount of soot is formed, which over time makes the equipment (furnaces) unusable. Since the rubber contains sulfur, when using this method of disposal, the substance enters the atmosphere and, when interacting with water, sulfuric acid is formed.
  4. Recovery is a process similar to recycling. This is the most promising and rational way... So, in the manufacture of one new tire, approximately 30 liters of crude oil are consumed, and only 5 liters are needed for restoration.

In recent years, business in this area has been gaining momentum; it is especially popular in European countries, since it is there that society most seriously approaches environmental protection.

Another distinct advantage this business is renowned for is the purchase of inexpensive tire crumbling equipment. You can organize a recyclable plant with your own hands in any room, even in your own garage.

Tire crumbling line

The tire recycling line produces rubber crumb for business, it is considered environmentally friendly due to the absence of emissions into the atmosphere or into the ground.

The line and all equipment must be made in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation, which were put forward for equipment of this type:

  • By the level of the emitted noise.
  • By the amount of harmful emissions.
  • Accordingly, the safety of life.
  • Accordingly, the safety of waste processing.

The entire line for the processing of tires into crumb consists of sectors:

  • Preparatory, which includes 2 machines: 1 - for removing bead wire, 2 - scissors for cutting tires.
  • Crusher, consisting of 1 - crushing chamber and 2 - return sifter.
  • Crushing rollers, which are two drums that rotate at different speeds towards each other.
  • Granulator that feeds the mixture from the hopper to the crushing zone.
  • Vibrating table of the magnetic selector for uniform distribution of the mixture under the influence of vibration.
  • Knife granulator, consisting of a body with knives, a shaft with knives, a mesh with a hole diameter of 4 mm.
  • Vibrating table in the form of an inclined rectangular structure.
  • Magnet for picking up fine wire residues.
  • Textile separators for a high level of cleaning of crumb from the present textiles.
  • Automatic filling machines for filling bags with crumbs.

This is how the process of recycling tires into crumb, which serves as a recyclable material for further production, looks like. It is not difficult to organize this recycling business. This is due to the relative cheapness of the equipment and the fast payback period. The main mission of this business is to protect the environment.

Recycling tires into crumb at home and at the factory

It should be noted that this rubber waste is a flammable material, and in the event of a fire in a huge number of tires, they can pose a threat of poisoning to everyone who is nearby, since rubber, when burning, releases carcinogenic toxins, such as benzpyrene. Dumping in landfills leads to the multiplication of rodents and insects, which are sources of dangerous infections. To avoid the deterioration of the environmental situation in Russia and abroad, it is imperative that correct disposal, namely waste processing.

Without constant recycling, an environmental crisis could very soon ensue.

Secondary use

Powder from waste of larger fractions is used in the production of composite roofing materials, rubber-bitumen mastic, waterproofing materials, and rubber coatings. Scrap metal is obtained from the metal cord, which is also found practical use entrepreneurs of Russia.

Also, textiles and rubber are obtained from tires.

Recycling at home

In one scenario, the rubber should be cooled to a temperature of about -75 ° C. Agree, not everyone has such an opportunity. Therefore, let's use the traditional scenario:

  • Take cameras
  • Remove all unnecessary elements from them
  • Cut them into thin strips
  • Shred these strips

The rubber grinder in this case is an ax or scissors.

Mechanical processing method

The most professional method.

The technological line is a sequence of installed working devices, overcoming which the material becomes finished products.

Processing into crumb rubber goes through three stages:

Today, there are a sufficient number of manufacturers of this equipment on the Russian market.

Chemical processing method

There is also an effective, but expensive physicochemical method of processing tires into crumb rubber - cryogenic shredding of automobile tires. Rubber crushing is carried out in a special cooling chamber at extremely low temperatures (down to - 120 ° C). A refrigerant (liquid nitrogen) is fed into this chamber, cooling to ultra-low temperatures.

Under strong cooling conditions, the rubber acquires a glassy state. Crushing of rubber occurs when struck with a special hammer.

After crushing, textiles and metal are removed from the crumb rubber.

The processing of automobile tires to obtain crumb rubber is carried out in several stages: Note that the processing of rubber can be both into crumb and diesel fuel. But the latter option requires serious material investments. This process consists of sorting and subsequent crushing of tires, and then the selected and prepared material is loaded into a special reactor, which extracts fuel from recyclable materials at high temperatures.

Utilization and recycling of car tires

Let's see what can be obtained as a result of recycling old tires: rubber crumb, which is used in the production of various gaskets and seals (including for plumbing purposes), shoe soles, rubber mats, rubber roofing (you can find out about liquid rubber for roofing here) , seamless coatings "Novotek", as an additive to asphalt, punching bag filler, and for many other purposes.

Business idea: tire recycling

Its waste is released into the environment.

This is not a good solution, but the emission resembles waste gases. truck.

As for the remaining mass, it passes through a magnetic separator, in simple terms, it is sifted through a sieve. Metal elements are sifted out and sent to the warehouse.

Fuel oil is transported by conveyor to tanks, in which the fuel will be stored until shipment.

Tire Recycling: Step-by-Step Production Opening

Therefore, the choice is clear: it is better to recycle used tires and get paid for it than just burn them, harming the environment.

Based on the chosen method of processing tires, you can get different products: We will consider the process of processing tires using the example of the production of crumb rubber, which has a wide range of applications. So, the process consists of the following stages: In the future, the resulting crumb can be converted into fuel / gas / fuel oil.

V European countries the process of eradication of such concepts as "waste" and "garbage" has been going on for a long time. Almost anything can be recycled into useful materials - from plastic bottles to used car tires. Crumb rubber, which is obtained by grinding tires, is a fairly useful material that can be used in a wide variety of industries. A calculated tire recycling business plan is a great guideline for aspiring entrepreneurs in this specific but lucrative endeavor.

To open a small enterprise for the disposal and recycling of old tires in a provincial city, you will need to initially invest at least 2 million rubles. Given the not entirely stable economic situation in Russia, it is better to use personal savings to start a business, refusing loans and other types of loans.

Brief description of the concept

In order for a businessman to open a private car tire recycling plant, he must first visit local branch Federal Tax Service. An example of this business plan involves the registration of an individual entrepreneur. Society with limited liability in this case is not quite suitable. The optimal taxation system for this business is STS 15% (income minus expenses). If the entrepreneur has basic knowledge of accounting, then the appropriate specialist may not be hired. As a last resort, outsource the filing of tax returns. When registering, it is very important to select the appropriate OKVED codes, namely the following:

  • 38.32 "Disposal of sorted materials".
  • 38.32.54 "Treatment of rubber waste".

Until 2012, a license was required to organize a line for the processing of tires into crumb rubber. There is no such need at the moment.

How much to invest in opening

The costs that are inevitable at the initial stage of organizing a private plant for the recycling and disposal of automobile tires are as follows:

From the table above, it can be seen that equipment for the processing of tires into crumb is the main cost item at the stage of starting this business. Also, do not save on preparing the premises for the start of production, so that later the relevant authorities do not have unnecessary questions.

Marketing plan

Recycling of car tires is a rather specific business that does not require serious investments in advertising and promotion. The only thing that should be given increased attention is the search for distribution channels and the establishment of a system for receiving old tires from individuals and enterprises.

The company's income will be made up of the sale of crumb rubber and steel cord. The wholesale cost of one kilogram of crumb is 20 rubles for 2017. From one ton of tires, about 700 kilograms of crumbs are obtained. The capacity of the production line will make it possible to freely process about 1 ton of tires in one working day. Accordingly, the monthly income from the sale of crumb rubber will be about 280,000 rubles, and the annual income - 3,360,000 rubles.

Production plan

For the installation of a tire recycling line, a production facility with an area of at least 80 square meters should be rented on the outskirts of the city. meters. The area adjacent to the workshop should also be large enough to provide storage space for tires after receiving them from the public. Naturally, the workshop premises must fully comply with the established SanPiN and fire safety standards. Also, in production, safety rules must be impeccably observed.

The optimal work schedule for the tire recycling workshop is as follows:

  • Monday - Friday: 09:00 to 17:00.
  • Saturday - Sunday: non-working days.
  • One day a month - maintenance work.

The list of workers in the workshop for the production of rubber crumb from tires is given in the following table, as well as the approximate salary figures that they should be assigned:

Position Number of people Salary, rub. Monthly payment fund, rub. Payment per year, rub.
1 Production master 1 25 000 25 000 300 000
2 Production line worker 2 15 000 30 000 360 000
3 Locksmith equipment 1 15 000 15 000 180 000
4 Tire Receiver 1 10 000 10 000 120 000
5 Sales Manager 1 15 000 15 000 180 000
TOTAL 95 000 1 140 000

Below is a list of equipment that will need to be purchased to organize a production line:

  • Device for cutting landing rings.
  • A device for cutting car tires into strips.
  • A device for cutting blanks from strips.
  • Apparatus for abrasion and formation of rubber crumb.
  • Vibrating sieve for the initial cleaning of the crumb.
  • Two magnetic separators and one air separator.
  • Conveyor devices in the amount of three pieces.
  • Electrical panel.
  • Vibrating sieve through which the material is finely cleaned.
  • The device for squeezing the landing ring.

Calculations of income and expenses

The operating costs for the functionality of the tire recycling workshop are as follows:

P / p No. Expenditure Amount per month, rub. Amount per year, rub.
1 15 000 180 000
2 20 000 240 000
3 Remuneration for the workers of the shop 95 000 1 140 000
4 Staff contributions to the FSS 28 500 342 000
5 Marketing expenses 5000 60 000
6 2000 24 000
7 3000 36 000
TOTAL 168 500 2 022 000

The profitability of a tire recycling workshop organized in a small town is shown in this table:

P / p No. Indicators Amount for the current year of activity, rub.
1 Planned income from recycling car tires 3 360 000
2 The cost of the costs of utilization and recycling of tires (the sum of lines 2.1-2.7) 2 022 000
2.1 Monthly payments for workshop rent 180 000
2.2 Utilities (mainly electricity) 240 000
2.3 Remuneration for the workers of the shop 1 140 000
2.4 Staff contributions to the FSS 342 000
2.5 Marketing expenses 60 000
2.6 Scheduled maintenance and possible repair of equipment in the production department 24 000

3 Gross income (before taxes) 1 338 000
4 Tax payments 200 700
5 Net income 1 137 300

The processing of car tires into crumb rubber will bring a rather decent annual profit of 1.1 million rubles, that is, about 100 thousand rubles will be “dripped” into the entrepreneur's account per month. And this is with an incomplete workload of the production line! Business profitability will be 34% - an excellent indicator. The initial investment in the organization of the production workshop will pay off in less than two years.

Potential risks

Recycling and recycling of tires is a business that can both "shoot" huge profits from the first months of operation, and fail in the same period. Failure can be caused by very unpleasant risk factors that should not be discounted when developing a business concept. These negative factors include:

  • Problems finding quality equipment for the recycling of car tires.
  • Increase in electricity prices, which can lead to an increase in the cost of the production process.
  • Risk associated with a drop in demand for crumb rubber from tire recycling.
  • The risk of a significant increase in the payback period of this business due to the low load on the tire recycling line.

A far-sighted entrepreneur will always calculate to the smallest detail the likelihood of such risks and will try to secure his business as much as possible from their occurrence. So, be careful, do not make hasty decisions, and then your business will always be accompanied by good luck and high profits!
