In the world of people around us, there are more successful and less successful. There are those who have realized themselves in many areas, and understand what they want to achieve in the future. And there are those who And all this is our own choice.

Meanwhile, you can learn to control your own destiny. To do this, you need to master the art of correctly prioritizing and realizing yourself in all areas of life that we need to be happy and move forward. How to learn this?

Secret one: universal recipes There is no one that suits everyone! But this does not mean that it is impossible to use the experience accumulated and tested by other people. On the contrary, you need to start with this. And you can correct and adapt the advice of coaches, business coaches and psychologists to your needs later.

Primary and Secondary Goals

Do you have the most important, main goal in life? And the most important goal this year? Surprisingly, but English word Priority, which arose in the 15th century, did not have its existence for more than five hundred years plural! It seemed right and normal for people to have a single, most important goal. This situation continued until the 20th century. Now, in any company and at any meeting, employees are given ten or more priority tasks just for the current day.

If you let this principle into your life, then the feeling of being a squirrel running on a wheel will remain with you until retirement. Learn to reduce the number of priorities and clearly understand what your the main task- to start at least for today.

At the same time, immediately try to understand whether this is your goal, or imposed on you from the outside - by friends, relatives, management, and so on. In our society, the volume of contacts with other people is so great that it is difficult to distinguish between what we want to do ourselves and what society imposes on us. Therefore, often more than half of the time is spent on things that are not important for ourselves, but urgent and important for others.

This does not mean that we should refuse to help other people. But it is important to realize that these are not your tasks, and you are engaged in them, willingly postponing your own affairs for later.

Five steps to manage your time

The principles of time management are extremely popular now, which allow you to make life more meaningful, organized and harmonious. Volumes have been written about time management, and still great amount psychologists and coaches continue to teach people how to properly manage their time.

Keep in mind that it is much more important not to talk about it, but to start implementing it into your own own life at least certain principles of time management, and you yourself will understand which techniques are suitable for you and which are not. These principles are quite simple, but it is important to systematically implement them.

First What needs to be done is to highlight the very priorities that have already been discussed. In practice, this is difficult, so you need to make a list of the most important, global goals. And then filter it by importance and urgency. It is necessary to do this. Here is what psychologist-consultant Victoria Timofeeva said about this to the correspondent of Mir 24:

“If you do not plan for your future, if you do not have a goal or a plan, then you are like a boat that drifts aimlessly in the ocean, hoping to be somewhere in good location. Agree, it's stupid to wait for this. Just like GPS guides you to your destination, you need your own internal GPS to guide you.”

Second step is to break down big big plans into a list of smaller tasks that can actually be done. Don't delay starting great work! When the idea is voluminous, it scares you, but as soon as you start doing the first of the points, the path to the final is already presented as a list of quite feasible tasks.

Third step is the refusal to do secondary things. Focus only on the essentials! This is called the Pareto principle. It says that 80% of the positive results we get by applying only 20% of the effort. And all the rest of our forces go to the execution of the remaining small list of cases. Therefore, we need to do only what we can be effective in. And what remains is better to outsource, outsource, or even dismiss as not the most important thing.

Fourth- by all means bring to the end the implementation of one or two pending tasks per day.

And finally fifth- Evaluate your efficiency, improve it all the time. Do not leave long-term affairs halfway, but bring them to their logical conclusion and set new goals.

That's all. Although each of the points can be deployed in several lectures. But instead of endlessly studying the theory, it is better to take the methods invented by other people and try to apply them yourself. You will quickly understand what suits you and what does not. After all, managing your time is just a skill. But it makes our life much more meaningful and structured.

Plans for the year, for the week, for the month

In parallel with long-term planning, which still needs to mature, it is worth starting to create more understandable and realistic plans for the day and for the week. Ideally, you should have bound friend plans for a year, a month, a week, a day with a friend.

Plans for next year it is best to write at the end of the previous one, but in January, of course, it is not too late to think about it. First, formulate the main goals and note the main events. When will they happen? Now start planning your vacation! Include in the annual plan the vacation and where you will spend it, as well as all vacations, trips and travels. Now decide when you should organize them in order to buy the best and cheapest tickets and book hotels.

Your annual plan should also include something new that you plan to do, whether it's learning a language, losing weight or training, changing jobs or renovating an apartment. Designate important dates, and not only related to work or study, but also with hobbies and personal life.

Plans for the month are also written, but with a more detailed study of the deadlines. They must be written at the end of the previous month, and then they can be corrected, as, indeed, annual plans- this is normal!

Make sure that the first monthly plan reflects those global goals that are in the annual one. The sooner you start implementing them, the better! It is better to immediately assess the “scale of the disaster” and understand what about a tenth of which needs to be done in the first month is. It is the tenth, not the twelfth, because there will be more vacations and vacations, during which you will be busy with rest, and not with business.

Don't forget friends' birthdays, visits to relatives, and other visits. Record all plans on the calendar. Find out which planning apps you are comfortable using. Try several electronic and paper organizers or other planning tools.

Plans for the week are made on Sunday evening, or, if you prefer, on Friday. Here it is necessary to clearly filter out unimportant things! How to fill your week is not a question. But how to find time for the main thing? Therefore, start with the main thing. Write in the plan what moves you towards those priority goals that you formulated in the annual plan.

Decisively enter into the weekly plan and what you were going to start, but put off or were afraid of. Would you like to exercise three times a week? It's time to set the days and times of training!

It is better to reflect in the weekly plan everything that will require your time and mental resources in order to properly distribute them and weed out everything unnecessary or unnecessary. Do not forget to leave in the plan time for communication with children and family, for meetings with friends, pleasures and relaxation!

Daily planning is the most responsible. After all, our life is made up of days. This means that it is at this stage that we project all our future successes and failures. It is best to plan your day in the evening of the previous day. So you already give yourself the installation in advance that you will cope with everything and have time for everything planned, and you wake up immediately with this knowledge.

Arrange the tasks in the list in order of priority and do only the most urgent and important first. If you leave the most difficult for later, then it will plunge you into a state of stress. It is better to quickly deal with everything difficult or unpleasant and exhale.

True, some psychologists argue that such a strategy is not suitable for everyone. After all, we must take into account our own biorhythms too. If you are a “night owl” and your peak activity is in the afternoon, then perhaps the tactic of gradually increasing the complexity of the tasks performed will be more effective for you. One way or another, the list of your tasks for the day should always be at your fingertips. If at the end of the day all the cases turned out to be crossed out, then your efficiency was at its best!

SMART - a technique that works wonders?

Life-coach from Rostov-on-Don Dana Doronina shares her secrets with the readers of Mir 24. One of the most effective, and at the same time simple, in its practical application she considers the SMART methodology, which is used in management, goal setting and, of course, in planning. Here's what it's about: Once you start managing your time and prioritizing, it's important to follow the five things behind SMART.

S (Specific) . When making plans, you must have a clear idea of \u200b\u200bwhat the end result you want to achieve will look like. For example, the goal to “lose weight this month” is a blurry goal. A more correct wording is “lose weight this month by 5 kg.”

M (Measurable) . You must define for yourself the criteria by which you will judge the implementation of your plan. Additionally, you can designate for yourself the lower and upper bars - the minimum indicators (below which you cannot go down in the implementation of the plan) and the maximum (your best result).

A (Attainable) - reachability . At the stage of determining achievability, it is necessary to answer the question: “Is the task set realistic for me?”. If, for example, you are suffering from overweight and set a goal to lose 20 kg in a month. - then this goal belongs to the category of unattainable. In this case, it is necessary to carry out its adjustment and replace it with a more achievable and realistic one. For example, to lose weight by 8 kg.

When working through the point of attainability of the goal, you also need to identify the tools and methods by which you can achieve this goal. In the weight loss example, these options could be: visit a nutritionist, start jogging in the morning, change your diet, take certain drugs, sign up for a massage. Your task is to evaluate all the resources that you can theoretically use to achieve the goal. After you analyze them, you will need to choose those that you can actually put into practice.

R (Relevant) - significance . When determining the significance of a goal, ask yourself: “Do I really want to achieve this result?”. Maybe this is not your goal and you will only waste your time and energy. Also analyze how this goal is consistent with your other plans, those that were set before. Does it conflict with them, will it violate the spiritual comfort of your loved ones?

T (Time bound) - time indicator. The difference between a project and a dream simple desire is that the project has a clearly defined period of time in which you will implement it. So it is necessary to register the start date of work on the project and the date of its completion.

According to Life-coach Dana Doronina, her clients who applied this technique in a short time received results that led them to new round personal growth.

Tatyana Rubleva

"A person who plans life is self-sufficient."

On Friday, unexpected guests came, arranged a natural disaster in your apartment ... a party. On Saturday, you wake up in the late afternoon and wander around the house for a couple of hours, not knowing where to start cleaning. Come on, it's better to get out somewhere! You open a poster on the Internet and ... for another three hours you sit in social networks, online stores and on news feeds. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, tired of doing nothing, you are going to the city. Another hour and a half at the open closet - and you're ready to go!

Maybe for some it's spontaneity. For me, it's a waste of time. Over the weekend it was possible to go to an exhibition, have lunch with friends, learn to “draw with the right hemisphere”, learn the basics of floristry. Even take a trip! And people who don't plan their day are lazy and limited.

Who had time, he ate

Children who play the violin, learn English, do extracurricular tasks, get into better universities than their careless classmates. People who have fallen into the bondage of mortgages will have a roof over their heads. Workaholics who don't run out of the office at 6:00 pm aren't all that miserable. Maybe they chose not the first profession that came across, but the one that they like. And, sitting in the evenings over a marketing plan, they do not exhaust themselves, but get high. It is them, by the way, that the authorities will notice and reward.

The benefit is obvious

It's easier to save the right amount if you know exactly what you're spending. It is more convenient to arrange a meeting if you have a completed diary in front of you. You spend less time on nonsense like Facebook if you know what you'll be doing on the weekend. Planning makes life both more interesting and easier! No need to stand for half an hour in the meat department, listening to yourself: “Sausages or ham?” The menu compiled for the week will relieve these thoughts. And it’s good for the figure if you don’t throw anything into the cart. Chocolates, chips, soda, you're not on the list! I'm such a bore.

Russian folk

“How the cards fall”, “We walk on the last” - gouging is in our blood. Even our fairy tales teach us to live without straining. In the hope of a miracle, we do not want to believe that much depends on us, and not on the forces of nature, the combination of circumstances and the grace of God. At the same time, we are sure that we admire foreigners with the breadth of our souls. They are really shocked: what a majestic stupidity - to spend all your money on a trifle!

Dangerous topic

And finally, the children. We, of course, do not plan them either. I am shocked by stories on TV about families who huddle in tiny apartments. Dad, mom (who looks 50 at 32) and 6 of their offspring. Parents tell how bad life is. The children grow up and eat more and more, there is not enough money (surprisingly, right?), there is nowhere to sleep, nowhere to do homework, there are not enough allowances for clothes, officials do not give new apartment… And why should they be given something? Because they do not know how to use contraceptives, at the age of 30 they do not understand that it is thoughtless to give birth to a fifth child at 33 meters? But try to say it, and you will be pelted with tomatoes. Children are sacred.

No gray days

I am sure: a person who plans life is self-sufficient. He knows how to occupy himself and does not depend on circumstances. You say it's boring? Not at all! Learn to plan not only business, but also pleasant moments. Trips are easier and cheaper to book six months in advance. And you will be given a vacation sooner if you warn your boss about it well in advance. The menu for the week is not a five-liter pot of soup. This is pasta, and salad, and muffins. Once you make a list of ingredients, you won't forget to buy everything in advance. You will have more time for your family, and your child will develop a habit of order. He will know that his mother comes home at 7 pm, gives him warm milk before bed and reads a fairy tale. And on weekends, you not only do cleaning and lie in front of the TV, but go to other cities, to nature, go to the theater. You know, planning a family vacation is incredibly unifying. An interesting life that you plan and hold in your hands is not at all boring!

Galina Korionova:

"In impulsive impulses, all the charm."

A few years ago I painted everything in advance. At school, at university, at work. Until suddenly ... she got married. And all plans (a new position, a loan for an apartment, a vacation in the suburbs) went to hell. Life makes adjustments. So, instead of hanging posters like “2013 is a car”, “2014 is a child (boy)”, isn’t it better to enjoy every moment?

Life on schedule

I moved to London with my husband. Do you know what pet insurance is here? Not only is the dog examined and treated, in the event of her death, insurance provides for the purchase of a new puppy. Practical, but is it possible? It's not a vacuum cleaner. In England, when the first child is born, they buy a stroller with a second seat - for the weather. My neighbor has a plan: at 27 - a meeting with That Man, at 29 - an engagement, at 30 - a wedding, at 32 - the first child. And in the place of That One, I would be afraid not to give her a ring at her 29.

At work, we do not go to lunch in a cafe, as I used to in Moscow. Everyone brings food from home. Saving £2 a day on food saves £10 a week, just over £40 a month and nearly £500 a year. Favorite topic for discussion on Friday is plans for the weekend. Every step is marked! As soon as the child enters school, "birthday lists" are sent to parents - to organize a holiday with children who were born in the same week as your child - so renting a cafe is cheaper (only book a couple of months in advance!). And so in everything.

Passion on schedule

This is what I will never understand. “Honey, Thursday! In half an hour we have five minutes of unbridled sex. What kind of nonsense? My girlfriend had a boyfriend, intelligent, handsome. But with "fads". When she, in a fit of passion, attacked him with kisses, he politely stepped back, pointing to his watch: “It’s still childish time, you have to wait at least until 9!” When at last they were in the bedroom, he would take off his shoes, put them by the door, pull off his trousers, line them up with the arrows, and hang them neatly in the closet. When it came to panties, the girl's fuse faded away. Not surprisingly, the pedant soon retired.

Scheduled Health

IN Lately many Europeans make a genetic portrait. This is a detailed analysis, it allows you to predict possible diseases. Very useful: if you know that in 20 years you are at risk of obesity, go on a diet. If the risk of breast cancer is high, you will be regularly examined by a mammologist. But proper nutrition and annual surveys are already shown to everyone. I do not take cases when there is bad heredity, but do we really need to know about diseases that are possible! - are they waiting for us?

Little things on schedule

I don't understand people buying huge carts of food for every day of the week. And what if today you are drawn to fish, and not to meatballs, which were planned a month ago and thawed the day before? I do not argue that large purchases require a serious approach, but gastronomy is the niche that allows you to introduce elements of creative improvisation and novelty into your routine.

In general, it is better not to overdo it with planning. It's like cosmetics: a little more and you already look ridiculous. And why plan the little things that bring pleasure: going to the cinema, walking, shopping? After all, thanks to these bright happy moments, we feel that we are living.

In old age, we will not remember the diary. We will close our eyes and smile, remembering how we ran barefoot through warm puddles, how we used up all the whipped cream for the cake, arranging a shootout with our loved one, how we unexpectedly rushed to St. Petersburg in the middle of the working week and much more if there is a place for him in a tightly packed schedule modern people...

Few people have long term plans. An even rarer phenomenon is the arrangement of life priorities and the ways of their implementation, time limits. Making a life plan can be tricky. This is an important and time-consuming process, but necessary. After all, this is planning the main events of your life: what, how and when it will happen, what results it will bring.

Of course, such a plan is not a guarantee that everything will be implemented. But the very existence of life planning makes it more likely that desired things will happen, and not random, influenced by the emotions or decisions of other people.

It is very important to lay down exactly your vision of what is happening, and not spend your whole life following imposed patterns. Making a plan means thinking clearly about high and inspiring goals for 3 years, 5 years, 10 years or more. An example of the first construction of a plan from famous people was Benjamin Franklin.

It is much easier to live with dreams that have come true and no hopes, complain about fate or believe in luck. But this is ineffective. A plan is a reality, a do-it-yourself throw into the future. There are only a few people who truly live in the future. After all, it is determined by our today's actions.

Why You Need a Long Term Plan

Every person has 24 hours in a day. But everyone uses them differently. What one person manages to do in this time, another will not even do in a week. The point is the proper distribution of resources: time and effort. One will view life as a long-term project that requires attention, while the second simply lives for today, thinking little about his future, not making any plans.

Of course, the results obtained will vary. Nobody wants to be a loser, mired in a routine of meaningless affairs, with zero investment in the future. Life planning is relevant for those who want to achieve a lot, are ready to work hard and treat this with all responsibility. As they say, success is determined not by high and beautiful initial dreams, but by the real results of what has been achieved.

Proper structuring is designed to create an optimal to-do list, a general vector of life that will allow you to determine your values. This approach does not exclude rest at all, on the contrary, sometimes it makes you relax, even if you don’t want to, but there is a need for this. The use of this method develops self-control, contributes to the emergence of self-esteem, gives optimism and composure.

Debunking myths about planning

Life priorities and goals, aspirations and dreams. How can you make a plan and think about the right execution? To some this may seem absurd.

Here are some of the myths people associate with planning:

  • Systematization breeds boredom

Fundamentally wrong judgment. Life priorities and their placement, a clear layout, allow you to make room for vivid emotions And more events. This means the disappearance of chaos in actions.

  • Development restriction

If the plan is small, nondescript, and with uninteresting or simply not your goals, then this breeds boredom. If you colorfully paint everything that you want to achieve and look at the allotted time, you understand that there is not so much of it. After all, everything needs attention. Therefore, development will take place at a double speed!

  • The plan cancels creativity

You can make an action plan not only 1 time. It can be corrected at least every six months, introducing a new vision of the situation. Also, no one bothers to creatively design it and develop critical thinking with a variety of implementation approaches.

  • Planning kills the enjoyment of the present

Many people do not know how to enjoy the present at all. If you understand how to properly plan your time, distribute resources, your activities and hobbies, free time will never harm your main goal.

Principles of building a plan

A ready-made plan for a year or more helps us, becoming a guide in the dark when strength is left. Then, by rereading important points, there is a chance to pull yourself together and continue, this is a kick to do it yourself. How to compose right plan for a year, so that it expands our life, gives hope and freedom, and does not drive it into certain limits.

How to plan correctly? First of all, life planning begins with making plans for today. And ends in decades. This is a multi-step process. The whole pyramid is based on your true values. Only from them comes the countdown.

Basic principles:

  • We take into account the length of life

A goal achieved within a month with pleasure will bring much more benefit than through coercion and restrictions, but the result is in 2 weeks. Slow pace is more reliable than sprints.

  • No pain, no growth

It is reasonable to push yourself a little and achieve those goals this year that will open up new prospects next year. Missing opportunities because of laziness, being afraid to experience stress is not for fighters.

  • Constant conversion

If at first everything is based on a dream, then after the time during which you took actions to realize it, results appear. New people, ideas, prospects that you never even dreamed of!

  • Rejection of extra effort

Measure is important in everything. Forcing yourself is good, but the approach must be reasonable. It is easier and more effective to run several kilometers every day than once a week - a whole half marathon.

Step by step instructions

There is nothing better than starting with how to make a plan for the year. This will help you keep your life under control, even during times of change.

So, where to start to make a plan for a year and more:

  • Understand what role you are in

There are important and minor aspects of your personality. Everyone plays a certain social role. You can be a student, someone's daughter and mother, but also an artist, a lover, a business manager, a thinker, a mentor, a cheese lover. All this is what fills your days. It is worth choosing those roles, the implementation of which is most important to you.

  • Decide what you want to be in the future

Choose those roles that you want to develop as much as possible so that they are associated with your personality. At the same time, look at what negative aspects you have, where your energy is being spent. Perhaps if you transfer strength from them to achieve your goals, the work will go faster?

  • Disassemble your motives

There is a reason why you want to achieve certain goals, how yours were formed life priorities. Try to understand what will happen when you embody them, what emotions will arise. How important they are, whether you want to implement them all your life. Personally for themselves, for society or specific people. Being honest with yourself is the key to success.

  • Write down your findings

After analyzing the motives, make your own life goals and tasks in future planning are easy. Realizing your true values, write a list based on them.

  • Distribution of goals by categories

This milestone planning. It will help not to lose sight of any of the important aspects of life. Write down everything you want to achieve in categories such as career/vocation, family/society, knowledge/intelligence, health/spirituality.

  • Set a time frame

After setting a specific goal, determine the exact date when you wish to achieve it. Let's say you go to Nepal for a week until June 2017, lose 5 kg by spring, develop and submit a geodesy project before the end of the fourth year.

  • Building small steps

To move in the right direction, you need to understand how to plan to achieve your goals. The steps you need to take depend on where you are in the present. Do you have to start from scratch or do you already have certain developments. Develop a clear strategy to achieve each goal in chronological order and prioritization.

  • Constantly check the relevance of the life plan

Life does not stand still and neither does man. It is quite normal that things can change. Periodically reviewing your life planning, you can understand: are you following it or not, are you happy, are there any prerequisites to change something in your goals. Do not be afraid if life priorities have changed the vector, and you want to change something. The plan is important for tracking your successes and achievements, updating the reasons for failures.

A plan is needed so that a person feels better, filled with positive and has his own motivation, moves forward, and does not slow down.

Are you tired of wandering through life without a goal? Then it's time for you to start planning. Life is very interesting and you can live it in a million different scenarios. It's good when this thought comes to the mind of young people. They have the opportunity to correct the mistakes of the past and transform their activities in accordance with their desires. How to write life plan which will work? Read about it below.

True Desires

A person who has decided to start living more meaningfully must deal with his desires. Life planning is a complex process. A person should take an hour of time for herself, sit in a comfortable chair and write on a piece of paper everything she wants to get from this life. At this stage, everything should be written indiscriminately and without any system. You can write about what you want to buy, where you want to go, or what you want to achieve. Have a lot of items on your list. The more desires you have, the more interesting it will be to fulfill them.

When the writing stage is over, you need to start filtering your goals. Many people cannot distinguish true desires from imposed ones. What is the difference? For example, you want to buy a new phone. Why do you need it? Your old phone is broken and you can't call it? Then the desire to purchase a new smartphone model will be justified. If you have a working phone on hand, but you want a new one, since all your friends have already purchased the 10th iPhone model, and you only have the 8th one, in this case the desire is not true. You only need a phone to raise your status. It should be understood that such expensive toys will not make you happier. Similarly, all desires should be considered. Maybe you want to get into music. If you have neither a hearing nor a voice, but you want to become a musician in order to conquer women's hearts, then nothing will come of it. If you love music since childhood, but before today if you didn’t have the opportunity to buy a guitar and start practicing, then the desire is true and you can begin to realize it.

Epitaph

Do not be surprised, and even more so do not take this advice as cynicism. People rarely understand the purpose of their life. To understand why you came into this world, you need to do one simple exercise. Write your epitaph. Do not perceive such an exercise as some kind of sacred action. This is just one of the stages of life planning. When a person thinks about death, his thoughts become clear, and he can clearly understand what he wants to achieve. You work as a shop assistant and you think you are absolutely happy. And what will your grandchildren read on the monument? A woman lived a worthless life and left nothing in this world except her only child? There is nothing wrong if a woman wants to become a good wife and mother. But even in order to achieve this goal, you need to make a lot of effort. A woman should create comfort in the house, raise several children and support her husband in everything. Then it will be possible to write on her monument: "She was an excellent wife and a wonderful mother."

Think about what you would like to see on your monument? Perhaps you want to be an artist, writer, actor, or director. It's never too late to start developing your potential. And you should start opening it with a couple of words written on a piece of paper that will help you understand what you want to achieve in this life.

Goal setting

Have you decided on your true desires and written an epitaph? Now is the time to set yourself goals. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? And after 20? One simple life planning technique is to write down all of your goals in detail. These should not be desires, but goals. At this stage, you do not need to link the plan items to a specific date. Just describe everything you want to achieve. For example, you want to lose 10 kilograms, start running in the morning, buy a house by the sea, or take the whole family on vacation to Turkey. Where do you get inspiration for setting goals? From your desires that you described above.

you got it big list, which you want to start implementing today? It's not worth rushing. First, you should attribute to each item the exact date on which you plan to complete this or that project.

life plan

A person must be aware of when and what exactly he wants to achieve. This is the basis of life planning. You can not set goals in isolation from the date. If a person doesn't have a hard deadline, they won't try to get the project done on time. As a result, a case that could be completed in a week is stretched out for several months. To prevent this from happening, you must have a clearly defined How to start compiling it? For each goal you set earlier, you must assign a start date and an end date for a particular project. For example, you want to learn English, but you are well aware that you are currently overwhelmed at work. If you think there will be less work in a month, plan to sign up for the following month language classes. Do the same with the rest of your projects. For example, you are passionate about learning how to play the guitar. But you can't start studying now, and in next month you start English courses. So, postpone your guitar lessons for six months. By that time, you will already be able to speak English tolerably, and you will have free time to implement a new lesson. Feel free to push back some goals in time for a year or three. If you really want something, then you can achieve it in the time allotted for a particular lesson.

Plan for the year

When you have a list of life goals ready, it will be easy for you to choose the activities that will be implemented, studied and done this year. Why write out goals separately if they are already written in one list? In a large amount of information, it is very easy to lose sight of something. And when the list fits on one A4 page, it will be easy to review every week. What does an example of life planning look like?

  • Learn to skate - 1.01-1.03.
  • Speak to English language - 1.01-1.06.
  • Run twice a week.
  • Build a yurt.
  • Relax in a mountain resort in Sochi.
  • Visit Mom twice a week.
  • Watch 10 films from the list.
  • Read 5 books from the list.

You can have a similar plan broken down by seasons, or you can make a link to each specific month. Remember that you need to calculate your strength soberly. Do not plan too much so that you can realize all your plans. You should always take into account force majeure situations and the fact that something may not go according to plan.

wishes

In addition to goals, a person will always have desires that are difficult to include in life planning. Implementation time small projects there may be many, but in order to correctly fulfill this or that desire, a successful coincidence of circumstances is needed. What is meant here? For example, many people have such desires:

  • Ride a camel.
  • Swim under a waterfall.
  • Pet the tiger.
  • Swim with dolphins.

If you live in the north, you are unlikely to be able to fulfill such dreams in hometown. Therefore, you need to consider that you can realize your plans, for example, on vacation or on a business trip. Therefore, when you have another departure from the city scheduled, open your list and think about what you can do in order to tick off the next item.

Purchases

If you are serious about setting goals and planning your life, then you need to write a list of what you would like to buy. Without such a list, it will be very difficult to plan your future expenses. Of course, you do not need to plan all purchases. The list should include things that you cannot afford to buy with one salary. It can be expensive equipment, branded clothes or accessories, as well as vouchers and subscriptions. Think in advance what and in what month you will buy. So you will be able to live to the best of your ability, not go into debt and not squander your savings aimlessly.

Prioritization

When planning your life goals, you need to Special attention prioritize. Sometimes a person wants to do everything at once. If a person chooses such a policy for himself, then he will not succeed. If a person focuses on one or a maximum of three big things, then he will be able to achieve great success in his chosen areas. So think about what you want to achieve first. There are always cases that can be put off in time, and there will always be projects that should be handed in today.

A person must be able to distinguish between important and urgent matters and find a balance between them. For example, you urgently need to undergo advanced training at work, but you are also required to complete an annual report. First of all, you should make a report, and only then think about how to improve professionalism.

Planning Tools

To organize and plan your life, you need to use either a paper notebook or notes on your phone. The second option is more convenient for those who always carry their smartphone with them. You can enter your cases in paper carrier, but it will be inconvenient to carry it with you all the time. For example, at a meeting with a client, you promised the person something to learn or see. This information will simply be recorded in an electronic diary. And your personal notebook with a schedule will definitely not be at a business meeting. You can write everything down on a piece of paper, but it is very likely that you will be able to lose such information before you reach the office or home. Therefore, switch to taking notes on your phone, it is convenient and practical.

Visualization

Are you a visual person by nature? Then a wish board will help you plan your life. Such a board is often made by those people who lack the intrinsic motivation to achieve goals. If you're used to giving up halfway through, be sure to make yourself a plank. On it you need to attach clippings from magazines or pictures printed on a printer that will personify your dreams. For example, if you want to buy a car, print out a picture of it and stick it on the board. If you want to be the leader of a dacha, print out a photo of a self-confident leader and place it in the center of your board. looking at bright pictures every day, you will strive to achieve your goals with great desire.

Life planning is big job which every person living in this world must do. But writing a plan is not the same as making your dreams come true. What should be done to achieve the goals?

  • Review the annual plan once a week, and the life plan once a month. This will allow you to stay on top of your desires and get a boost of motivation to achieve your goals.
  • Summarize the day, week, month and year. When you focus on what you have achieved, you will be able to find internal motivation to work on yourself.
  • Don't tell your friends and family about your plans. Let your acquaintances be proud of your success, but do not climb with advice on how you should build your life.

The ability to plan your actions for the day, month and year ahead does not make sense if a person does not set himself a serious goal that goes beyond the planned period of activity. Each person must have the ability to see ahead, which has a serious impact on the planning process. Ideally, it would be good to have a perspective vision until the end of a person's life. When talking about the vision of life, the end result is taken into account, and not knowing how to achieve this result. A person cannot plan for a period beyond his vision. If, like most of you, you can only see what is happening today, then there is no point in mastering the planning process. Think about what your life will be like at the end of the journey. Where would you really like to go?

If you can't step beyond today's vision, then at the end of your life you'll probably ask yourself “why did I miss so many chances and achieve almost nothing”?

Your vision must be grand
Reaching one goal, you will learn to set the next, more serious one. It's better to want more, not less. Having managed to formulate the final vision, try to imagine yourself at the dawn of life and ask: “Am I satisfied with the results I have achieved”? If you answer yes to this question, it means that you need to continue to follow the chosen path and move on to the implementation of the next stage. If the answer is no, you should try to expand your vision.

To give you an idea of what it means "big vision", let's take an example:

  • Buy your own island
  • Become a rare car collector
  • Buy your own yacht
  • Buy a sports team
  • Buy multiple houses in foreign countries
  • Achieve great business success
  • Bring passive income to $10 million per year
Dreams that come true are more likely not dreams, but plans

Reading these points, you most likely do not believe in the possibility of their implementation. It is natural. Just on the sheet in which these points will be written down, you need to write the title: "I have:…" . Put this piece of paper in a secluded place. Over time, when your goals begin to be realized, you will only be surprised at how easily this happens. If you are already ready to believe that what is written is possible to implement, this is very good. Review your goals at least once a day.

If you can't easily formulate a vision for your future, limit yourself to the next ten years.
Be sure to write: “I HAVE” or “I HAVE” before listing goals. Do not try to analyze whether it is feasible or not. Listen to what your soul is saying. If she says that you want to live in a castle by the sea in thirty years, believe me, you should write this down. You will be able to analyze what you have written later, but you should not cross out or downplay the goals. The purpose of this action is to clearly let the universe know their intentions and desires. Even if all the goals you have written are not fully realized, working on them will provide you with a much better and more successful position over time. Even if you can only achieve sixty percent of your goals, this will put you in a much better position. best position about where you would be if you didn't set these goals for yourself.

A dream also needs to be controlled, otherwise it, like a ship without a rudder, will be carried to God knows where Do you know what is the reason for the failure of the losers?
The fact that such people obviously doubt the possibility of achieving goals, therefore they simply do not formulate them. They predict in advance that if they fail to achieve their goal, they will not be able to maintain their own self-esteem at the desired level. However, in reality, everything happens the other way around: self-esteem decreases when a person does not set goals for himself.

So, having completed the first stage of planning, when you have formulated a vision for your future for the coming decade, you should move on to the second stage. This step is to be able to divide the set goals into so-called intermediate ones. So, you have to divide a period of ten years into several intervals: five years, three years, one year and six months.

  1. Based on the goals set ten years ahead, you need to formulate goals that you must achieve in five years. When formulating these goals, you should not think that in reality this is completely impossible, you form these goals based only on whether achieving them will bring you satisfaction.
  2. Based on five-year goals, you form goals for the next three years. In the same way as in the previous paragraph, you should think about how you would like to see your life in three years.
  3. Based on the goals that you must achieve in three years, formulate goals for the year ahead.
  4. And finally, based on the goals set for the year ahead, formulate goals for the next six months.

Of course, you should not assume that after you have written your goals on a piece of paper, all your subsequent activities will be reduced to waiting for the result. The universe will be able to realize the goals you set only if your intention to achieve these goals is really serious. The ability to achieve your goals directly depends on your willingness to act and on how your thinking corresponds to the tasks set. If you do nothing, you will not get results. A true desire to reach your goal will make you work in the right direction. Only after you are ready to constantly carry out actions aimed at the implementation of the task, you can feel the readiness to get what you desire.

Saying that you are ready to get what you have planned, you are cunning. Answer honestly to yourself the question, would you be able to competently manage the monthly amount equal to ten thousand dollars today in such a way that it would bring income? What would you say if your monthly income increased to a million? Can you do it without necessary knowledge and opportunities to dispose of it so that it can bring you ten times the amount? If your thinking were ready to manage such monetary assets, you would already have these amounts at your disposal. According to statistics, a person who wins a million or other large amount of money spends it in the period from a month to a year, failing to multiply it. Although, having certain knowledge about how to manage money, a person who has received a million can increase it and improve his standard of living tenfold.

It is for this reason that you first need to learn how to think like a successful person.

Only then comes the readiness to receive what is successful personality. Setting realistic goals that you are sure you will achieve is unlikely to lead to results. Without a big goal, you will not strive to take serious actions to achieve it.

Articulate your big vision right now.
Write down your goals.
Don't be afraid to make a mistake.
The biggest mistake you make is letting your own life take its course, entrusting it to chance.
