How to pass the exam in biology for 100 points? This question is asked by every 20 school graduates. Oddly enough, but the final test in this subject is one of the most difficult.

First reason- a large amount of knowledge, about 500 topics. The exam in biology is designed to test the knowledge gained over 6 years of study: course elementary schoolThe world”and“ Natural History ”),“ Botany ”(studyed in high school), as well as tasks in anatomy and genetics.

The second reason- a big gap between real biological science, which is developing rapidly, and what is taught at school. Graduates who prepare for the Unified State Examination on their own and choose, in their opinion, collections and textbooks that are relevant for preparing for the Unified State Examination, may not score the desired points in the exam.

Passing the exam in biology with 100 points is a whole science. By the way, this also applies to training at the All-Russia in biology. A science that can only be taught by specialists in the field of the Unified State Examination or preparation for olympiads - this can be a school biology teacher or a tutor. But it's hard to find a good one. How to find a biology tutor? What questions should parents ask a tutor candidate?

FIRST QUESTION: “What is your education?

Definitely, a biology tutor should have. On the one hand, he studied in depth the profile subject - biology, on the other hand, he took a course in pedagogy. The pedagogy course is very important for future teachers. Graduates of such a program are proficient in teaching methods, are able to explain the most complex topics in a simple language accessible to children. Teachers are taught to establish contact with students, to find an approach to capricious and lazy, hyperactive and children with certain disabilities.

SECOND QUESTION: Where do you work (worked)?

Why is it important to ask this question? Over the past 30 years, the content of biology textbooks has not changed much, while biological science gone far ahead.

As a result, a student studying with an advanced teacher using new manuals may score low on the USE. Since in the criteria USE assessment in biology, canons were laid down that were relevant 20-30 years ago. According to statistics, it is for this reason that the winners of university Olympiads, the All-Russian Olympiad in Biology, often do not get points on the Unified State Examination. Olympiad assignments always keep pace with the times, as they are formed by teachers, scientists - specialists, who, among other things, are engaged in the popularization of new research and discoveries.

Therefore, if you are aiming to score high on the exam in biology, choose a school teacher. If your goal is to win the Vseross in biology and receive benefits when entering a university, give preference to a tutor from a university.

THIRD QUESTION: “How many years have you been preparing graduates for the Unified State Exam in biology? or What experience do you have in preparing students for the All-Russian Olympiads?”

The tutor should be well versed not only in his subject - biology. He must be familiar with the current rules and procedures conducting the exam in biology. For this reason, parents are more likely to turn to school teachers. A school biology teacher is familiar with the procedure for conducting the exam, knows the tasks in which graduates often make mistakes. All changes in the final certification will be the first to be known to teachers of educational institutions. For example, in 2016, graduates completed 40 assignments in the USE in biology. In 2017, the number of tasks was reduced to 28, while the time, on the contrary, increased from 3 to 3.5 hours. And there are new types of questions: a task with a diagram and a table, genetic task, graphic tasks, etc. As you can see, only a tutor who has up-to-date information will be able to prepare a hundred-point student.

If you are looking for a tutor to prepare for biology olympiads, he must know the procedure for holding the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren. And there are many nuances. So, in the school and municipal stages, tasks are more likely to come across school curriculum, and for all-Russian stage experts develop new and original tasks in terms of content, ahead of and even contradicting the school curriculum.

The tutor, who has been working with Olympiads for several years, is familiar with all the nuances of the Olympiad. And often the best tutor is a university teacher. By the way, it is university teachers who are involved in the development of Olympiad tasks.

FOURTH QUESTION: "How will the classes go?"

Biology teachers agree that it is necessary to start preparing for the exam from grades 8-9. Otherwise, the graduate will have to remember a large amount of information: botany, zoology, anatomy, ecology and general biology. If a graduate has already passed the OGE in biology and has been studying biology for more than a year, two classes a week will be enough to prepare for the exam in biology. If you decide to take biology only in the 11th grade, you will have to practically re-study a large number of material per year, 3-4 lessons per week will be required. It is very difficult to prepare a 100-point student in biology from scratch in a year. Therefore, such promises of tutors should alert parents.

Classes must be held according to the individual educational plan of the student. By the way, with such a plan, it will be easier for parents to control the progress of their child.

Be sure to ask questions about homework. The tutor must assign a lot of homework, be sure to check homework and sort out mistakes in the classroom.

FIFTH QUESTION: “What teaching materials and additional materials do you use in preparing for the exam in biology? or What literature and Internet resources do you use when preparing a student for the All-Russian Biology Competition?

The original methodology is, of course, good, but it is important to rely on the proven and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science.

And it's easy to check. Find the latest edition online federal list textbooks recommended (approved) for use in educational process v educational institutions implementing educational programs general education. If the teaching materials proposed by the tutor are not in this list, this should alert you. Of the Internet resources, the following must be mentioned: the FIPI website, the official portal of the Unified State Examination.

Also for preparation for All-Russians: recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the UMK; teaching aids published by the biological Olympiad for schoolchildren; methodological manuals with questions and answers of the All-Russian Olympiad in Biology of past years from major publishers (for example, Series 5 rings. Biology. All-Russian Olympiad from Enlightenment).

What network resources can a good tutor indicate for preparing for biology olympiads? The organizers of the All-Russian Biology Olympiad recommend using the tasks of the Olympiad in Biology of previous years from the official website of the All-Russian All-Russia (http://www.rosolymp.ru), from the official website of the International Biology Olympiad (www.ibo-info.org). Sections devoted to the analysis of Olympiad tasks are available on the websites of major publishing houses. For example, on the website of the Drofa publishing house: www.drofa.ru/for-users/teacher/vertical/other

SIXTH QUESTION: “How many 100-points in biology did you prepare? or “How many of your students have become winners of the All-Russian Biology Championship?”

Statistics - a thing inexorable. If your tutor cannot boast of his students, where is the guarantee that he will help your child. Do not be lazy, ask the phones of former students, talk to them.

The biology exam is one of the selective ones and those who are confident in their knowledge will take it. The exam in biology is considered a difficult subject, as knowledge accumulated over the years of study is tested.

USE assignments in biology, diverse types are selected, for their solution, confident knowledge of the main topics of the school biology course is required. On the basis of the teachers developed over 10 test tasks for each topic.

See the topics that you need to study when completing assignments from FIPI. For each task, its own algorithm of actions is prescribed, which will help in solving problems.

Changes in KIM USE 2019 in biology:

  • The task model in line 2 has been changed. Instead of a task with multiple choice for 2 points, a task for working with a table for 1 point has been included.
  • Maximum primary score decreased by 1 and amounted to 58 points.

The structure of the USE tasks in biology:

  • Part 1- these are tasks from 1 to 21 with a short answer, up to about 5 minutes are allotted for completion.

Advice: Read the wording of the questions carefully.

  • Part 2- these are tasks from 22 to 28 with a detailed answer, approximately 10-20 minutes are allotted for completion.

Advice: express your thoughts in a literary way, answer the question in detail and comprehensively, give a definition biological terms, even if it is not required in tasks. The answer should have a plan, not write in solid text, but highlight points.

What is required of the student in the exam?

  • Ability to work with graphic information (diagrams, graphs, tables) - its analysis and use;
  • Multiple choice;
  • Establishing compliance;
  • Sequencing.

Points for each task in USE biology

In control measuring USE materials in biology 2018, changes in the structure and types of tasks are not planned. They remain the same as in 2017.

KIM take into account the specifics of our subject and check the content that is reflected in the Federal component of the state standard of secondary (complete) general education. This is the same standard that has been in force with us since 2004.

Control and measuring materials are designed based on the need to assess the level of mastery of graduates of all major groups of planned results in biology for the basic general and secondary general education, both at the basic and profile levels - this is an innovation, since until 2017 the developers assessed the level of mastery of knowledge and learning skills only at the basic level, not at all at the profile level. Today, tasks are aimed at testing the formation of the biological competence of graduates.

The priority of control is to control the formation of knowledge and methods of activity: the assimilation of the conceptual apparatus of the biology course (which was not there before); mastering methodological skills; application of knowledge in explaining biological processes, phenomena in different situations, both in a new and in a changed situation, solving quantitative and qualitative biological problems.

Great emphasis is placed on working with information that is presented in various types: these are texts, diagrams, figures, tables, graphs, and diagrams.

The examination paper includes seven content blocks:

  • “Biology as a science. Methods scientific knowledge»
  • "Cell as a biological system"
  • "Organism as a biological system"
  • "System and Diversity organic world»
  • "The human body and its health"
  • "Evolution of wildlife"
  • "Ecosystems and their inherent patterns"

Structure of KIM

Each version of the examination paper contains 28 tasks and consists of two parts, which include tasks that differ in the form of presentation, level of complexity and methods of assessing their performance.

TABLE STRUCTURE CIM

Part 1 (21 tasks) Part 2 (7 tasks)
- multiple choice - 7 - POS (practice-oriented task)
- compliance - 6 - image
- sequence-3 -text
-task - 2 -generalization(2)
- missing information-2 - task (2)
- analysis of a graph or table - 1

Part 1 contains 21 tasks, of which 7: tasks with multiple choice (with or without a picture); 6 - to establish compliance (with or without a picture); 3 - to establish the sequence of systematic taxa, biological objects, processes, phenomena; 2 - for solving biological problems in cytology and genetics; 1 - to supplement the missing information in the scheme; 1 - to supplement the missing information in the table; 1 - for the analysis of information presented in graphical or tabular form.

Part 2 consists of 7 tasks with a detailed answer. Tasks of this type make it possible not only to assess the educational achievements of the examinees, the depth of their knowledge, but also to identify the logic of their reasoning, the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in non-standard situations, establish cause-and-effect relationships, generalize, substantiate, draw conclusions, think logically, clearly and concisely on the merits of the question state the answer. These tasks ensure the differentiation of graduates in terms of the level and quality of training and have great importance for their admission to universities.

Unlike Part 1 assignments, which are graded automatically, Part 2 assignments are graded by experts in biology education.

I draw your attention to the fact that the number of tasks has decreased. Previously, there were 40 of them, 33 of them in the first part and 7 in the second part. Now you see that in the first part there are 21 tasks, in the second - 7

Those. Each option, as before, consists of two parts. In order to increase the objectivity of assessing the quality of the final certification of students for secondary general education, tasks with the choice of one correct answer were excluded from part 1 of the examination paper in order to prevent random guessing. This modernization led to a reduction from 33 to 21 tasks in Part 1 and from 40 to 28 in the entire work.

How are these tasks distributed according to the level of difficulty?

In the table, the number of tasks that were in progress in 2016 is highlighted in red, and since 2017 in blue.

Many students who decide to connect their lives with medical and biological areas ask the question of how to pass the exam in biology with 100 points. The success of graduates primarily depends on the time they spend preparing for the exam. Accordingly, the more material was covered during this time, the higher the chance of successfully preparing for the biology exam. If the child definitely decided to take biology, then he should start preparing now.

Every graduate should know that the motivating link in his successful learning there must be desire and interest. The set goal encourages a person to strive for excellence, to study new branches of science, to find and correct the mistakes made. In your goal, you need to clearly understand what can be solved at this stage and what is not, how much work needs to be done in order to achieve success.

As a rule, the guys start preparing for exams from the 10th grade, and at 11th they only work out typical exam tasks. In fact, going through a theory on a certain topic does not mean that the student will be able to use it in practice. While undergoing training, the student should not “cram” the material, but understand the meaning of this or that answer and decision. The ability to apply the theory in practice does not come immediately, sometimes, missing an important detail, the child cannot realize his mistake.

If the task seems very difficult and unsolvable, then you should have a separate notebook for notes. It will need to make a summary of difficult topics and memorize the stages of solving tasks.

Constantly solving exam options is the key to successfully passing the exam. The more tasks completed, the more likely it is that it can be found on the exam.

You need to be able to manage your time properly. You should not bring the child to mental strain. 2 hours of work will be much more effective than 6 hours of cramming.

The first part of the exam consists of tasks of a basic level of complexity. The solution of each task of this part should not take more than 2 minutes. When choosing the right answer, do not panic and go astray. If there is no exact certainty in the answer, then this question should be left for later. When the easy tasks from the first part are completed, you can move on to those that caused difficulties.

Theory for 1 part includes: basic concepts about the life of organisms, genetic patterns, crossing different types, types of kingdoms, their properties and differences.

Innovations: analysis and synthesis of information on the proposed topics.

The second part consists of tasks of an increased level of complexity. For their implementation, it is necessary to remember all the theory passed. Students are given tasks with the choice of the correct options out of 6 proposed, tasks for finding matches and for establishing the correct sequence. Each question should take no more than 5 minutes.

Theory in 2 parts includes topics: the human body and its hygiene, macroevolution, living environments.

Innovations: finding errors in the drawing, analysis of graphs and tables with statistical data.

  1. The third part consists of tasks of a high level of complexity. Here, the examinee must demonstrate the ability to apply theory in practice. For each task, you must give a solution and explain it in detail. It may take up to 20 minutes to answer one question.
  2. Theory in 3 parts includes: application of knowledge in practical situations, analysis of textual and graphic information, evolution and ecological patterns, computational problems in cytology and genetics.
  3. The division of tasks into 3 categories is relevant when self-training to the exam. In the examination forms, the distribution of tasks may be different.

About cheat sheets on the exam in biology

Someone uses hints, someone does not, but you need to be able to make cheat sheets. You should not rewrite a whole book or copy task options onto sheets, because this will not bring any benefit if the child sees a hint. The main points that should be taken into account in the cheat sheet:

  • basic concepts in brief;
  • examples of tasks that caused difficulty in self-solving;
  • formulas for calculation;
  • names of scientists and their discoveries.

Tips can be written on small pieces of paper, on pens, and even embroidered on clothes. You can also use the pocket guide if you have difficulty completing a particular task. To use a cheat sheet or not, the child decides. In any case, the written tip inspires some confidence and optimism, but getting a hundred points is real and your own mind.

Conducting the Biology Exam in 2017

This year, the biology exam was significantly more difficult, but the number of tasks was reduced from 40 to 28. The time to complete the work was also increased from 180 to 210 minutes. In 2017, it is planned to exclude questions with the choice of the correct answer, now the student will have to independently solve the task and get the right answer. Now it will be a little more difficult to pass the exam in biology with 100 points than last year, but for those guys who are already preparing for exams, such innovations will not come as a surprise.

To enter universities, you must score at least 36 points for the exam.
